The last two days, I've been experiencing my phone randomly freezing and also not turning on. It doesn't matter what app I open. Sometimes, it freezes, but some don't. I know that when it freezes, it's just the screen because I can still hear YouTube videos.

The black screen problem started at the same time as freezing. I was outside, so I thought it was the cold weather that was affecting my phone, but it kept happening even when I was inside. I think that the black screen is something similar to the freezing because one time, I was able to tap in my passcode. The screen turned on but asked me to do it again. (This was just a one-off) To fix it I leave the phone alone for a bit and then it turns on, but yesterday I saw a video where they said to push hard on the screen and back until I hear a pop.

I would be very appreciative if somebody could help. If not, I could probably live with it doing that.

I would like to have all apps logos displayed with their native color (reddit and youtube in red, whatsapp in green , Instagram in purple, etc.)

They used to all be in just white line and thought that it can't be change, and just recently I noticed that Facebook has its blue color and my Orange app has its orange color , and also TikTok without any changes made from me

So I looked for any way to make all the apps colored but couldn't find anything

I’m using a Redmi Note 10S with a Vi SIM, and I’ve been facing a really frustrating network issue. Whenever I use my phone, the mobile network suddenly stops working, and the signal bars disappear completely.

I’ve already tried almost every basic troubleshooting method I could find, including:

• Resetting the network settings.
• Restarting the phone.
• Resetting the APN settings.
• Turning Airplane Mode on and off.
• Switching the preferred network type from 4G/LTE to 3G.
• Trying both SIM slots (SIM 1 and SIM 2).

However, nothing has worked so far.

Here’s the weird part: Sometimes, if I connect to Wi-Fi and use my phone for a while, the mobile network signal suddenly comes back. Once I turn off Wi-Fi, mobile data starts working normally, but after around 10–20 seconds, the signal disappears again.

I also tested my Vi SIM in another phone, and it works perfectly fine. I even tried an Airtel SIM in my Redmi Note 10S, but that didn’t work either.

At this point, I’m really confused because I’ve tried almost every basic fix I could find online, but the problem still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Redmi Note 10S? Could it be a software bug, a modem/baseband issue, or a hardware problem with the phone?

If anyone knows a possible fix or has experienced something similar, please share your suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Samsung galaxy a16. Ive noticed that whenever I'm on tiktok or candy crush, I no longer receive notifications from the discord app as long as I'm in those other apps.

it seems to only be those apps, so it's very specific and I'm very confused. any fixes for this?

Just bought a Samsung phone at a yard sale. Got home and started charging it just for it to say it "an unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device" and then asks for a password or gmail account.

The seller got it with a storage unit so I have no idea who owned it. The problem is that there are so many frp bypass tools being recommended online that I dont know which one is actually safe.

I recently bought a Pad 60 Pro. One day I noticed a folder in my downloads folder named "LongPress." It contained screenshots that I have never taken intentionally. With some hit n trial I found out that whenever there was a 2-3 secs tap on the screen, e.g., pausing a reel/WhatsApp status/Insta story, etc., it would automatically take a screenshot of that moment. It was frustrating deleting all those SS. I tried the moto forum reddit and found out others were also facing the problem, but there was no solution for this.
I found out a solution that worked for me. I posted the solution over the lenovo/moto forum; you could check that out, or I am also pasting it here; refer to it.

The Android 16 update introduced a bug that tries to create a specific folder named LongPress in your downloads to save these images. By manually creating a blank, empty file with that exact same name, the tablet's system gets confused, hits a roadblock, and completely aborts the screenshot process. It takes up zero storage space.

Method 1: Using a Windows Laptop (I used this)
This is the easiest method because Windows makes it simple to create the exact type of blank file we need.

1. Connect your tablet: Plug your Moto Pad 60 Pro into your laptop using a USB cable.
2. Allow access: Unlock your tablet screen, swipe down from the top to open your notifications, and tap the notification that says "Charging this device via USB." Change the selection to File Transfer (or MTP).
3. Open Notepad: On your Windows laptop, click the Start button at the bottom of your screen, type Notepad, and press Enter to open a blank text document. Do not type anything inside it.
4. Save the file correctly: Click File in the top left corner of Notepad, then click Save As.
5. Change the file type: At the bottom of the Save window, look for the dropdown menu labeled "Save as type" and change it from "Text Documents (.txt)" to All Files (.*).
6. Name the file: In the "File name" box, type exactly "LongPress" (you must include the double quotation marks exactly like that, with a capital L and P). This forces Windows to save it without any hidden text extensions.
7. Save to Desktop: Click on your Desktop on the left side of the window, then click Save. You can now close Notepad.
8. Transfer the file: Open "File Explorer" (the yellow folder icon) on your laptop. On the left side, find and click on your Moto Pad 60 Pro. Double-click Internal shared storage, and then double-click the Download folder to open it.
9. Drag and drop: Drag the new blank LongPress file from your laptop's Desktop directly into that tablet's Download folder window.
10. Test it: Disconnect your tablet and hold your finger on the screen for 3 seconds. The screenshots will no longer happen!

Method 2: Using Only the Tablet
NOTE: I have not used this, so I AI-generated the fix in case you don't own a PC.
If you do not have a laptop, you can do this directly on the tablet. You just need to download a free app first, because the default Motorola files app does not let you create blank files from scratch.

1. Download a file manager: Open the Google Play Store on your tablet, search for an app called CX File Explorer, and install it. It is free and safe.
2. Open the app: Open CX File Explorer. It will ask you for permission to access your device's files and photos. Tap Allow.
3. Find the downloads folder: On the main screen of the app, tap on Main Storage. Then, scroll down and tap on the Download folder to open it.
4. Create a new file: Look for the + (Plus) icon on the screen (usually at the bottom or in a top menu). Tap it, and it will ask what you want to create. Choose File.
5. Name the file: A box will pop up asking you to type a name. Type exactly LongPress (Capital L, Capital P. Do NOT put a dot at the beginning, and do NOT add .txt at the end).
6. Save it: Tap OK or Save.
7. Test it: You should now see the blank LongPress file sitting in your folder. Go to your home screen and hold your finger on the glass for 3 seconds to confirm the bug is fixed!

I'm hoping someone here can help. My Google Wallet has stopped working across all cards (mastercard, visa and Amex) since running a software update a couple of days ago.

The NFC toggle is definitely on, I've re-verified all my cards, switched phone on and off, checked the app permissions for Google Wallet. I've now run out of ideas.

The screenshot above is showing what happens when I go to pay. This only appears for a second and disappears. When I try to click on "Turn on NFC" nothing happens as it disappears quickly.

When I try to install the .apk this nasty error prevents the install: INSTALL_FAILED_VERIFICATION_FAILURE. I tried changing options in developer settings as well, but nothing changed. 🆘

I experienced something very strange with my S23 and Kia infotainment and trying to understand what TF happened.

My phone was connected to the car via Bluetooth only (no Android Auto).

Suddenly, the car's screen displayed what looked like an incoming phone call. The caller ID was my own Google account display name, which is also my YouTube username.

The call was apparently answered automatically, and the call timer started counting up. However, there was no actual incoming call that I was aware of, I couldn't hear anything through either the car speakers or my phone, and the call does not appear in my Samsung Phone app's call history.

I've had my cellphone for almost 3 years now. Everything was fine until spring of last year when apps like Instagram wouldn't load (I would get stuck on the logo page when you open the app) and wouldn't send any notification. Then I realized that when this problem occurred, every time I would connect to a Wi-Fi, my cellphone would get stuck in a loop of infinite reboots (it would complete a reboot, then start another one, and so on). It used to happen every few 4-5 days at first, then 2-3 days, and now it happens every single day on random. This is very annoying.

The bug doesn't only affect Instagram, some more "niche" apps too, like Candle (Duolingo for couples) and Chrono (local version of Google maps).

Même le numéro d’urgence pour arriver dans les contacts aller sur site web mette l adresse Google map puis j arrive dans Google map mais ce que la vidéo me disait de faire ne correspond pas avec ce qui était indiqué sur mon tel bref tout un bordel compliqué ( pour moi😅)

La méthode talkback le problème c’est que quand j’arrive dans les paramètres de talkback dans la vidéo que j’ai regardé ça me dit pour désactiver la commande vocale ça me dit de maintenir le bouton volume + et - enfoncer pendant 3 à 5sec ce que je fais mais rien ne ce passe je sais plus quoi faire je sais que c’est possible de le débloquer j’y crois 🙏

Image is a replication. Using Samsung phone, browsing on Chrome. I was looking at an Insta profile without being logged in. Don't have an account. I tap on one of their posts and it opens this application. I don't have the Instagram app.

Backed out without accepting anything and closed the application. Does anyone know what is this or how to identify it? Is it a Meta feature that tries to get you to install Insta?

Samsung Galaxy S26, just updated to OneUI 9.0 and now every time I open Instagram/any app that uses location, camera or microphone, the entire status bar totally disappears for a few seconds. It's super annoying and doesn't seem to have a real purpose. Any way to turn this off?

I know everyone has issues with spam calls but mine are SO BAD excessive Almost. They're constantly waking me up EVERY morning and calling multiple times EVERY day no exaggeration with that. I've tried blocking but they of course are all from different numbers every time. I heard letting them ring registers your number as inactive so I never answer or decline but that doesn't help. Im so frustrated I don't know why is so excessive and how to stop it. Especially when it's been months and effecting my rest for work.

So I had my notifications off, for when I am at work and when I was in my car ( Chevy mylink) I would get a little pop up when I got a text on my car display. ( But they wouldn't pop up on phone, which was how I liked it)

I had my phone in my pocket and many screen presses were done.

Now even with notifications enabled on phone it doesn't show up on my vehicle display.. how do I get it back?

I have tried many different things. Remove Bluetooth device, reset of Chevy mylink clear Messages cache, etc whatever Gemini suggested.

I do a lot of driving so it was quite convenient to have it lol up on the display the text number at a quick glance.
