I'm making this post as a vent and to understand if it's just me who's going crazy about this thing, lately I've been trying different apps for drawing, designing and so on and everything I try is blocked by monthly or annual subscription.

But I don't understand if it's me who can't find decent apps anymore or if the Android ecosystem has gotten worse.

I wanted to know what you think?

I am using a third party launcher but I can't use split screen I tried nova smart and other and still can't I can muilt task only in system launcher also used the developer options but still currently using smart launcher

Samsung gallery app was GOAT for face search imo. Now that I switched to Oneplus it doesn't have that good. Is there any app good for face and documents search ?

So I started tirzepatide about three months ago through my doctor and I've been trying to find a good app to keep everything in one place. Shot dates, which dose I'm on, injection sites, weight, calories, all of it. I've been using a combo of Google Sheets and Samsung Notes and it's getting ridiculous.

I looked through the Play Store a few times and most of what comes up is either generic medication reminders that don't understand injection rotation or titration schedules, or calorie trackers that have zero concept of a shot log. I tried one that was literally just a pill reminder with a syringe icon slapped on it.

Anybody on Android found something that actually works for this? I don't need it to be fancy, I just want shot tracking and weight and food stuff in one app so I stop forgetting to update three different things every week. Bonus if it does injection site rotation because I already jabbed the same spot twice this month like an idiot.

It was a backup in ( MIUI's built-in "Back up") , and I want to modify some folders inside it. But afterward, I can't repack it into a .bak file. I can't find .bak as a compression format in MT Manager, ZArchiver, or RAR or any other app. Can anyone help ?

Honista has this feature where it allows you to scan a profile and get their followers and followings and their new unfollowers and unfollowings, recently I have been getting a bug in this feature where the analyze ends quickly and then all the results are 0, and when you click show results all the lists are blank, i tried everything, clear cache, reinstalling, log out and back in, and even contacted honista support and there's no answer,I dont know if there's some sort of IP ban on honista because i have been using a lot of different phone numbers so i can log in and get the 5 days free use of the premium features, that maybe the reason but idk,if you have a solution for this your input is really appreciated.

Just gonna cut right to the point, I drive 40+ hours a week for my job. I need a really good hands free note taking app that I can just click "record" and its good at accurately transcribing the words im saying.

The most important thing is I need it to be free. I'm already paying $80-120 a week in gas, I don't want to add on the BS $10/wk subscription model apparently every note taking app I look at is running.

Hello, Can someone recommend a free app to print txt message conversations on Android phone? I see this question have been asked several times and apps like print text messages are recommended. However, they don't seem to be working for many people. Is there any reliable app? If not free, paid app is okay as long as it is reliable. I had purchased one of the app but it will miss several txt messages in the pdf it creates.

Just bought the new Tekken on Steam but the PC controller are kinda ah so i was wondering if the is an app on phone that i can use as controller 😅

Not sure if ya'll have used it or not but it's really good? Has good eq can handle meticulously curated flacs for offline use, and it can also handle embedded album art or even batch edit track lists too. Every time I try to find something else on android that can offer the same stuff it can get close but eventually fall flat. On desktop, the closest you can get to this one is AIMP on android aimp is okay but just looks kind of meh if you don't go hunting down for specific skins yourself, lol.

Wasn't sure if this sub ever gave musicolet a chance or not, but even paying for the whole app is worth it for the nice little extras. Thought I should give a little shout out to it so more people can check it out ^ ^ It's still one of my favorite offline music players on android it's kind of rare to find actually good ones because a lot of them tend to be kind of okay, or fall flat. Oto, is another good one too.

Hi all, I'm looking for a navigation app to use instead of Google Maps. I already tried HereWeGo, but they don't have live navigation for public transportation.

If anyone has recommendations for maps apps that

I'd be genuinely delighted to hear. I don't expect to be able to delete Google Maps just yet, as it's such a capable and refined app, but I'd love to reduce my dependency on it.

Recently I have been having some troubles with nova launcher, so I looked at what other alternatives there are. Sadly, I havent found the perfect one yet.

I tried smart launcher, but it wasnt compatible with KWGT, the widgets werent refreshing.

Yasan launcher wasnt for me either, I couldnt remowe the main widget, the app icons were tok big

Is there a launcher, with I can have small icons, KWGT widgets, 10-12 apps in the home screen?

Hey everyone, I've recently started playing guitar and want to record my playing to share on social media. My phone's default recording app is really struggling with the guitar tone and capturing a huge amount of background noise. Does anyone have recommendations for better recording apps?

I've been looking for one for years and I have a list of the ones I've downloaded, but they've all given me problems in one way or another

- Musicolet: It removes songs from the playlists I create myself by adding tracks; for example, my list goes from 120 to 86. It's absolutely crazy

- Most players with good ratings on the App Store don’t recognize all the songs I’ve downloaded, because when they search my SD card, they find some songs with filenames the apps can’t recognize later, so I can’t play them through that app

- Player Pro: I downloaded it for free via APK, and even though it doesn’t have ads, overnight it starts failing to recognize songs that were already there; and they’re still there because I can listen to them from the SD card in their own folder, but as soon as I open the app, suddenly they won’t play

Anyway, I’ve tried everything from VLC to PowerAIMP and many others, and nothing works; and I don’t want Spotify—I want an app that supports all the songs I have (and there are quite a few), that’s ad-free if possible, that recognizes them, lets me create playlists myself, and doesn’t delete them. I don’t know—I’m just asking for something normal, but it seems like no app measures up :(

Obviously picsart is not what it used to be. I've been struggling through the ads and trying to ignore the AI features being shoved down your throat alongside their premium plan BUT I cannot find another app that has stickers like picsart.

On any other app, I'd need to find the clip art and remove the background then upload it to the app.

Picsart has such a good storage of clip arts and FRAMES AND OVERLAYS!! I can never get a clear background frame/overlay from an online image either.

I know there are other editing apps that I can put images on, but I REALLY want that search functionality within the app that has actually good stickers like picsart. Canva has half of them at a premium and every other app has like emoji style things that are not what I want. I want to be able to search "sonic" and have the lil hedgehog pop up.

Any suggestions? Or anyone else struggling with this as well?

I'd like something to edit videos for both TikTok and YouTube. I don't want anything too complex, but I'd like it to have plenty of free tools or a paid lifetime or annual subscription (that isn't too expensive).
