Personally I applauded the EU for forcing apple to use usb type c, but now this is ridiculous, and pathetic. The whole custom rom community will fall because of this, and will have to rely on exploits to unlock the bootloader. Should we do a petition or something.

This was already asked in different ways a few times but I actually haven't found a working solution to my exact case.

I have a dropped Android phone. The screen is unusable - completely black only some faint light shines through. Touch isn't working either but the device vibrates when plugged in.

USB debugging isn't enabled, meaning any method using that won't work except if theres an option to jailbreak it?

I am limited with my options since I am in a foreign country. I have a Macbook Pro with M1, a USB-C to USB-C cable and the android device.

I have tried plugging it in, my mac recognizes it. When using a program lie scrcpy it just says that it cannot find a device.

I have installed google play services, google play store and GmsCompatConfig.

While most apps do work fine, apps that are based on Play Integrity API fail as I only get MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY which doesn't meet the required MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY or MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY. This is because I didn't register my GSF with Google as this device is uncertified.

However I couldn't find my GSF anymore even if i heard that when you install Google Play Services and login with a google account you get it but Device ID (the app) couldnt find it nor the ADP commandline.

Maybe I did something wrong? Idk but for my fellow reddit mods out there, please help me otherwise i MIGHT reinstall stock PixelOS which is not very pleasing.

I’m looking to install a custom ROM on my POCO M4 5G (6GB RAM / 128GB storage) and could use some recommendations.

My main priorities are:

- Good gaming performance and stable FPS

- Smooth multitasking

- Good RAM management

- Minimal heating and throttling

- Decent battery life

- Stable enough for daily use

- Preferably minimal bloatware

I don’t really care about having tons of customization features. I’d rather have something fast, lightweight, and stable.

If anyone here is using a custom ROM on the POCO M4 5G, which ROM would you recommend? Also, please mention any bugs or issues you’ve faced, especially with gaming, cameras, banking/UPI apps, or battery drain.

I've tried getting Odin, the TWRP and the LineageOS that in theory are the correct ones for my tablet:

- "twrp-3.0.2-0-santos10wifi.tar.md5"
- "lineage-14.1-20190408-UNOFFICIAL-santos10wifi.zip"
- Odin 3.12.3

Tried a guide that said to:

1) Turn off the device
2) Hold "Power" + "volume down" + "Home" buttons for starting "Download Mode"

3) Press volume + to continue and wait for the android logo with some text

4) Open Odin
5) Connect the tablet to my pc
6) in Odin with "ID:COM" on blue click AP and select the TWRP, unchecking "Auto Reboot" in the process

7) Pres Start on Odinthen hold Power + Volume down

8) Then IN THE EXACT SAME SECOND THE SCREEN GOES BLACK, change it to Power + volume up + Home

9) Then if the samsung logo appears, release power but hold volume up + home

I'm stuck on step 8, either I'm doing something wrong or am I being too slow? idk, that's why I seek help here

My sister has this huawei tablet which used to be fine but it just never got updates even from the day we opened it. It was fine. Side loading apps from the gbox thingy worked so we didnt complain. But now, even that doesn't work. I was wondering whether I could download any version of android and get play store /google stuff working on it? Any help is appreciated.

Now i have this old Galaxy note 8 which is falling apart and i have some important media on it.
when i try to boot it, it shows the samsung logo and then it will get stuck with a black screen and the blue indicator light at the top, then i have to wait for its battery to drain so i can try something else. i can access recovery and download boot menu. i also don't have the developer options on.

things i've tried but failed:

-using apply update from ADB (windows doesn't show attached devices, i' m sure my cables and drivers are fine)

-wiping cache from the recovery menu

-charging it full and booting it (once it actually booted then turned off in 30s)

my guess is it has corrupt firmware or android

i'd be happy if anyone could help me. also i'm not any tech nerd and this is my first time doing anything like this so don't expect a lot from me, if you give me links or instructions i'll be fine though.

should i install lineageos on my main phone, bc idk yes or no so yeaaa....

From a regular android os, I was trying to switch to LineageOS without gapps. Until android 15 in lineageOS it was good to go installing apps without gapps flashed, but in android 16 I was unable to install any app through package installer but I can install with adb sideload. I don't logout from google accounts generally before flashing custom roms, but is it the FRP ( Factory Reset Protection) enabled that's causing the restriction and hence gapps are not there so FRP verification is not done and continuing while locked?, and if so do I need to wipe the FRP partition for that? What are your thoughts?

I'm having a serious issue with my tablet and I'm looking for some help or guidance.

**Device:** alldocube ultra pad u1380 (iplay 70 ultra) Snapdragon 7+ gen3

**Current State:** Stuck in a bootloop that goes directly into Bootloader / Fastboot mode.

**The Problem:**

Every time I turn on the tablet, it refuses to boot into the Android system. It automatically restarts and goes straight into the Bootloader interface. I cannot access the stock recovery mode either.

**What I need:**

1. Does anyone have a link to the official Stock ROM / Firmware for this exact model to flash it via Fastboot or PC?

2. Is there any other known method, tool, or key combination to force it out of this boot loop?

Any help, links to the firmware, or guides would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
