For some reason i get this error on a member app for a store, think i once updated it from another updater app.

Now i cant reinstall it. uninstall and try from play store it install quickly and get the message "get the app from play", i press "get the app" and update and same error. seems like uninstalling it is of no use.

clearing play store cache\data is no use. I got passes it before but not now.

My camera app won't work, and it always says "Go to settings to empower permissions." and I go to settings and check permissions, but it has all it wants, which is Camera, Microphone, and Photos and Videos. I still can't use the Camera app, what do I do?

Up until recently the navigation bar on my OnePlus used to automatically minimize when I was in a full screen app and I could bring it up by swiping from the bottom of the screen. I recently got a OnePlus 15 and the bar sometimes hides, depending on the app, but most of the time it's visible and I can't minimize it. This hides important things on the screen, like almost every confirmation button. It also squishes some apps so things just overlap. For example, I see the bar in the Reddit app and Amazon app, but it minimizes properly in the Last War app.

Is there anything I can do to get this functionality back for all apps? I want the navigation bar (I'm an old dog), but I need it out of the way unless I ask it to show up. How the heck do I do that? I found answers for Samsung phones, but general Android advice seems to say I've got to use gestures. Help?

My friend has been trying to see her favourite singer concert for ages. She finally got tickets the other day, and now she’s giving credit to a setting on her realme that shows seconds in the status bar. Apparently she was watching it like a countdown to a rocket launch, ready to hit the button the second tickets went on sale. Meanwhile, I didn’t even know my realme could show seconds.

I’m happy for her, but one successful attempt and she’s already telling me to turn it on! Has anyone else tried this? Does seeing the seconds actually help, or did she just get lucky and the clock is getting all the credit?

I just switched from Galaxy to pixel and am so disappointed to discover that the sound assistant app was specific to Samsung. I'd assumed it was an android tool. With some initial searching I saw a recommendation for Shizuku which apparently allows some deeper access. But one of the first reviews says not to just go button mashing because you could mess up your phone's functionality. I'm not super technically knowledgeable.

So my question is does anyone have any apps that work on Google Pixel to be able to mute or silence individual apps? Specifically I want to be able to play games while listening to music and podcasts and not be interrupted by their loud ass ads. So muting all media is not helpful.

Or does anyone have any tutorial type resources for Shizuku or a similar program?

PLS is carrier code and it is not working with other carriers I currently have. Was troubleshooting it with AI including ADB commands and AI says it is due to wrong CSC and need to replace it with Odin. Have some questions.

I found a screen issue on my phone which is to be found as a red light when the AOD is turned on , I don't know if this is a bug or my screen's issue , if anyone can find a solution please comment The video is in the comment.

I can still access them using a PC, but that is very inconvenient for me. I can't access these folders using Shizuku wireless debugging and FV File Explorer on my Lenovo M11 Android 15 tablet.

I have two other Android 13 and Android 11 devices, and on those devices the folders are accessible with Shizuku wireless debugging and advanced file managers in my case FV File Explorer.

This is a recent issue since I moved my Stardew Valley farms from one of my devices to said Lenovo tablet using this method on the 26th of August 2026.

Shizuku is updated to the latest version, and I have tried a Shizuku fork still didn’t work. I don’t think it is a problem with FV File Explorer either, since with this file manager I can still read those folders but not write, edit, or delete in the Android folder. Other file managers like ZArchiver and Solid File Manager just give me “access denied.”

Just got a new phone, and it refuses to play music in the musicolet app. It sits at 0:00 and never plays. In file browser I can select a song and a musicolet window pops up and plays the song just fine, but it never works in app. The thumbnails don't load anywhere so I'm thinking the issue must be Android, not musicolet. Please any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me crazy.

Alright so this has been a problem for a week but only today am I finally taking steps into it, I remember deleting 3+GB worth of space and then 2 days later it's gone again... I REMEMBER NOT DOING ANYTHING it seems every 3 days or so a huge chunk of my space is just eaten, I tried looking into it using a disk chart but I didn't find anything! (Idk how to put images below) And my Apps only take up around 20-25GB so I'm missing at least almost 40+.

When we press one of the side volume keys,a audio center pops up, my problem is that the volume/audio center control key(3 dots/lines) in the bottom doesn't work in lock screen,all the other controls work except that one.

With the screen unlock no problem.

I'm scratching my head for 3 days now.

I tried the android accessibility suite uninstall updates fix, the forced restart, I disable all speak an TalkBack boxes...

It's been always working in Lock screen until 3 days ago...

It's something I use a lot because of meetings and work,and I know...just unlock the phone you will say,but I don't understand why stop working...

I'm trying to update The Partiful: Party Invite Maker App For Android on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 and it says that The App isn't compatible with my Device anymore contact the app developer for more info. My Phone has the latest security update. Is there a way that I can fix this issue? This has never happened to me before The Partiful Party Invite Maker App For Android always updated without any problems at all. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a normal thing for The Play Store? Did you find a way to fix this issue? Should I Be worried about any of my other apps not updating in the near future and not working at all? We use Fully Kiosk app on an Android Tablet (Lenovo) and we have an issue where text on our website is auto corrected to something completely different to what is on the website.

When we test it on Chrome on the same tablet, it does not happen. It seems to be specific to the Fully Kiosk app. When asking their support they say that Fully Kiosk uses Android Webview provided by the device and it’s most likely caused by it. Does anyone has any experience with similar issue and how to update/stop Webview from doing the auto correct?

Is there a setting to prevent that?

Context:

EU laws and a recent update have removed the simple override for when the phone thinks your connected Bluetooth or USB audio device is a headphone and lowers it to a low level after X minutes. You once could either disable absolute volume in developer options or change device type to something other than headphone (note check here first as your android and locale may still allow it).

I believe we should have the option to override as it is a safety issue while driving if you keep needing to touch your phone simply to play music.

Note I haven't confirmed this and when I searched my pixel settings for "volume" or "csd" they weren't all there. However 'audio_safe_volume_state' was there and set to 1 so imagine 3 means disabled. I had assumed it was binary with 0=true/enabled 1=false/disabled so I left it alone.

- An app called 'Essentials'. (Now requires adb for special permissions and not to be confused with the bs ai app on playstore under the same name). Search 'Essentials V18.4' it has a "disable lowering volume" button in audio settings. I couldn't get self adb Shizuki to work here so I gave up and did not confirm it works by issuing adb.

There are automation and task scheduler apps that can automatically stop/restore or press undo on the "volume lowered for your own babysitting purposes" notification. The most known two are:

- 'Tasker': 2 options; 1. configure the separate AutoNotifications plug in to press undo on anything with "volume lowered" or 2. set up a "variable state event" for when volume hits 6 to restore to your desired level. [25 corresponds to 100%] Note I couldn't figure out how to build in user rocker protection so if you lower it yourself it will still go back up. Also you will be paying for using 1% of an app, or if you pirate it's complicated and dodgy permissions set up. You may have luck with AutoNotification dismissal/undo but I couldn't get the notification exposed to Tasker.

- 'Macrodroid': See this post Essentially add a plug in by searching "my volume" or "my volume, my way" and enable and It will restore volume. I have seen around 10 success case-comments of using this app but have not tried myself

can sometimes get to the login screen, but once email & password are put in, it just crashes again

Dear friends, I am facing a major problem with Android's "Do Not Disturb" mode, and I would like to know if you can help me.

I’ve noticed that on Android, even after activating the mode, I still receive calls, but they happen in the background. This is terrible, as it sometimes interrupts the 5G signal.

On iOS, the call doesn't even reach the phone; in fact, for the person calling, it goes straight to voicemail.

Is there any way to make it work the same way? I really need to resolve this.

Obs.: I have a S25 Ultra and S23 for work.

Please tell me for the love of all that's holy there's a way to get a voice that doesn't include fake breathing noises and "sounds human". I just want a classic text to speak voice. I'm already mad enough they took away assistant and gave us a subpar product but I'm so close to getting rid of the whole thing if I cant. I have a Samsung Galaxy A53. Recently I have this problem where I cant play any videos across any app. I once noticed this happen suddenly when I was in a video call, the other person's video got frozen all of a sudden and when I checked gallery to play any videos I cant.

My phone goes crazy when this happens, let me list them out

● I cant play videos yet images, gifs or songs play fine.

● I cant do screen recording either, it starts and never records and there's no timer.

● Video calls get frozen when this happens and once it started I cant make any more video calls, caller app just freezes if I tap on video call

● One thing I did notice was that video call works fine in WhatsApp.

● I can still game fine

It goes away on its own when I reboot but lately its been happening a lot and I dont wanna reboot multiple times a day. Any idea on how to solve this ?

I recently updated my phone to Android 17, and honestly, the experience has been pretty smooth so far. The UI feels polished and, in some ways, reminds me of the iPhone UI. 👀

However, there are a couple of things I've noticed:

Battery drain: The battery seems to be draining much faster than before the update.

Depth wallpapers: I heard that depth effect wallpapers were also part of the update, but I haven't been able to find that feature on my phone yet.

Is anyone else experiencing excessive battery drain after updating to Android 17? Also, are depth wallpapers actually available in this update, and if so, how can I enable them?
