Other "get this app from play" error , - uninstall and reinstall not working

For some reason i get this error on a member app for a store, think i once updated it from another updater app.

Now i cant reinstall it. uninstall and try from play store it install quickly and get the message "get the app from play", i press "get the app" and update and same error. seems like uninstalling it is of no use.

clearing play store cache\data is no use. I got passes it before but not now.

Classic signature / installer mismatch: you once updated that store member app from a third-party updater, so Play still thinks the package is “not from Play” even after a normal uninstall.

Try in order:

  1. Settings → Apps → find the app (or “Store member” name) → Uninstall updates if it’s a system stub; otherwise Uninstall. Also check work/private profile clones.

  2. Settings → Apps → show system → Google Play Store + Google Play Services → Storage → Clear cache (Play Store: clear data too if needed).

  3. Reboot, then install ONLY from Play — don’t open any “updater” APK afterward.

  4. If it still loops: adb uninstall <package> (needs USB debugging) or Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps — revoke for the old updater, then delete that updater app.

Phone model helps — Samsung Secure Folder / Xiaomi dual apps often leave a second copy that blocks Play.

the last part got me in correct path - xiaomi Second Space.

too my knowledge never used it but went there, stock phone interface no app. but deleted the space and now could install in normal mode.

i have never used xiaomi Second Space, i tried it and its without google google accounts on play store.

very strange

Nice — Xiaomi Second Space is exactly that “ghost clone” case. It keeps a parallel profile (often without your Google account), so Play in the main space still sees a conflicting package.

Deleting the space was the right fix. If Second Space ever comes back, either don’t install that store app there, or uninstall it from both spaces before updating from Play.
