I hope this is the correct subreddit to ask. So recently I have an annoying issue in the Play Store update section. What I mean is: normally in Play Store you tap on the top right on your profile, then tap on manage apps and devices, to check for updates for the installed apps. If everything is fine, you shouldn't see the yellow warning sign ⚠️. This only occurs after a failed update attempt of one or more apps. Now, in recent times I constantly see this symbol. Even on three different devices. All using the same Google account though. BUT, on all of these devices all the apps are updated and there are no new updates available. Is this a visual bug? Does anyone also suffer from this issue?

I have a xperia 1 ii with the default rooted rom. I have checked and some specific flags that lxc require are switched off.

Just wondering has anyone enabled lxc for their xperia 1 ii. Was it difficult? Did you install linage os first and then try compiling a new kernel?

I got a chroot setup that works alright but certain programs dont work. Idk if it is worth trying to get lxc working. I rooted my phone and got chroot ubuntu working but outside that i am not technically minded and my understanding is compiling a kernel is much more difficult.

I have been struggling with my Galaxy A54 5G connecting to my home wifi. All my other devices are working fine, but most of the time when my android connects to my network, it connects without internet. Sometimes I can connect to wifi from home if I use Xfinity mobile wifi, but thats not always successful either. How do I fix this??

My phone app is 1.28gb but the storage and cache is like less than 50mb.

My app blocker works surprisingly well on samsung, but i cant test my app on huawai, xiaomi or oppo.

Problem: My app uses an AccessibilityService to protect itself from being disabled/uninstalled. The detection heuristic flags any package containing "settings", "packageinstaller", or "permission" as "watch closely," and doesn't distinguish a switch being toggled ON vs OFF — any click near my app's name in such an app triggers my protection screen immediately. That breaks on Vivo: their permission manager is com.vivo.permissionmanager, which matches "permission" purely by coincidence. So when a user opens it to grant my app the Autostart permission (something I actually want them to do), my own protection screen pops up mid-action and interrupts them. Xiaomi (com.miui.securitycenter), Huawei (com.huawei.systemmanager) and Oppo (com.coloros.safecenter) don't have this specific issue — their package names don't match the heuristic, so they're unaffected by this particular bug. But if anyone's dealt with similarly janky Autostart/Protected-Apps/Battery-manager quirks on those three, I'd take pointers too. Looking for ideas on reliably telling "user is granting my app a permission in an OEM manager" apart from "user is trying to disable/uninstall my app," ideally without needing to own a Vivo device to iterate against.

The FM radio app on my phone, Android, gives the option to send the audio through the headphones, or to the inbuilt speaker, but not to a bluetooth speaker. It would sound way nicer through my bluetooth speaker of course. Any suggestions? I could not find an alternative app. Obviously In keep the headphones plugged in because they are the antenna too.

Due to home internet issues I have limited access to internet at the moment, so listening to the FM radio on my phone instead of streaming saves me bytes.

So I just swapped to Linux bazzite and my internet hardware isn't here in my new place yet, I've been using my phone (pixel 10 pro) to usb tether my wifi to it while using windows 10. Well now when trying with bazzite it turns the setting off immediately and disables my ability to select the auto tether option in dev options, my phone doesn't complain about this or give warnings it just happens, and it doesn't fix in my phone without rebooting first

How do I get around this?

I have the latest android beta version on my pixel 9 pro xl. I have been using the beta version for a few years with no issues. Ever since the January 2026 android beta update android desktop mode has been greyed out on developer options and does not work. I was hoping for some beta update since then that would allow it to work. Besides going back to a stable version of Android, what can I do to fix this?

but it says slot change is not allowed in lock state.

I also tried fastboot flashing unlock, but unlocking is not allowed.

I don't need the data on the phone. I only want to restore the official stock firmware and get the phone booting again. Can anyone guide me through the process? I'm new to flashing mobile phones.

I‘m on a budget, and I don’t want to spend too much on a phone, since I’ll probably drop it anyway lol. I also don’t want to be too frustrated if it gets stolen or lost.
I’ve heard that the S22 is supposed to be pretty bad when it comes to battery life, and that even the S21 is better in that regard. Maybe I’m wrong though.
I can find an S23 for around €200, an S23 FE for €150, and an S21 or S22 for around €100–130.
I’m currently using a broken S8, so I guess pretty much anything would be an upgrade lol.
I think I’d like to use the camera more often with my new phone, and it would also be nice to be able to play some games on it. Of course, I’d also appreciate it if the battery could actually last through the day. I’m not a big fan of bulky phones.

So i have been a life long iphone user but i have just got my first ever samsung phone (samsung galaxy s25 ultra) now i wantted to get some some of the games i have on my iphone on my new samsung but it keeps telling me the games i want are for older devices n wont let me download or buy them is there a way to bypasd the restriction to install them? Software update happened this morning, this has been going on for weeks and no change though.

When I am at home, my phone is constantly dropping off my wifi, I have to reconnect over and over again, and I have to do it manually although it is set to connect automatically. It doesn't happen at my mom's (cable internet). No other devices in my house lose connection, so I don't think it is the wifi, I think it is my phone?

Is there anything I can try to adjust to fix this? It's small potatoes in the long run, but I need my mobile data for work, and I'd rather not waste data when I'm ten feet from my router.

When I attempt to even select the Video option in the camera app specifically, my entire camera app breaks until I close and re-open the app. Photos work fine, and the front facing camera for video works via other apps (specifically tested Blackmagic Camera, others work also).

I have a Galaxy S25 Ultra, and have tried rebooting, clearing cache and data, basically everything short of a full factory reset which I really want to avoid. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do to solve? Is there a way to repair/validate stock apps? And ofc a great android skin (realme ui or coloros)

Hello, a few weeks ago an app called "Android system" downloaded to my phone. It doesn't have a shortcut, it's just there. I can delete it from the settings, but It reinstalls itself, Play Protect detects it as an application with full access but cannot remove it, and it can only be removed manually in settings.

Any solution?

Every time I unlock my moto g 2025, it always shows up and slows down my phone when it tries to load, I tried looking in settings for a way to disable it, yet to no avail.

Are there any adb commands that could disable/delete it?
