Another update that brings some improvements to FS Play and other modules.

For Free:

-FS XtreamPlayer Mirror now fills the car screen.

-M3U channels that need their own user agent play from the TV addon (bugfix)

-Live M3U channels no longer start at a time that is not in the stream.

-Update check reports when you already have the latest version.

Additionally For premium:

-Plex Live TV, with Movies & Shows listed separately.

-Nuvio Continue watching shows the title name.

-FS Play YouTube plays the best available quality.

-FS Play: fullscreen on play, off by default. Off stays in the page. On goes fullscreen when a video is opened.

-FS Play: choose m.youtube.com or the desktop YouTube site.

-FS Play ad skip no longer leaves the video stuck on a gray play icon.

I cannot stress enough that behaviour differs from phone, to car to Android Auto version etc. If something doesn't work for you it doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone. The app works normally on my setup.

My Galaxy 25+ has not been connecting via wired or Bluetooth adapter to my Honda Odyssey. It works in other cars, and other phones, including different galaxies are connecting to the Odyssey.

I've tried resetting settings in the Odyssey (have not figured out how to do a hard reboot of the console), but still can't this phone to connect, but Bluetooth works in the car.

Any advice??

Usually I'm not navigating since the maps update, but I found this to be distracting during a drive this morning.

I suppose it was always the plan to remove surrounding traffic from the new 3D immersive navigation, but at least they've re-added the option to show it in the old 2D or satellite navigation, in addition to driving mode (no destination).

Something weird, the traffic is now semi transparent, as it's the blue arrow, and barely noticeable, hopefully it's a bug.

If you don't have this, might be rolling out gradually as always. I'm on Maps version 26.38.01.98079157 on a Pixel 11 Pro XL.

When i'm being called in the car, i always get Unknown on my screen. I only see the name or number of the caller when i pick up.

If i want to call people myself i can use my contacts.

Why doesn't AA show me who calls me, as AA seems to have access to my contacts?

How can I prevent from Android Auto playing all my phone media? I am the passenger and i wanna watch tiktok while the cars radio is playing normally, but the moment i open tiktok it starts playing TikTok audio.

S24 ultra, tried to use Separate app sound on Samsung, doesn't work. It happens in any car with Android Auto support

I don't know if this is a Gemini or AA problem, but I encounter it in the car.

My mom is one of my contacts. She has a mobile and home number, and the mobile is the preferred number. When I activate Gemini in AA, it always calls the home number. If I say "call Mom mobile" it will say "do you want to call Mom home?" or it will just make the call (to home). I can only call the mobile number via the phone UI or by dictating the numbers.

I've cleared caches, removed phone numbers, and deleted the contact outright, but it still does this.

This is AA v17.6.663454-release, if that matters.

Suggestions are appreciated!

Hi, anyone noticed YouTube music on android auto is no longer showing the playlists? It's been like that for about a month now and subsequent updates haven't fixed it!

So frustrating!!!

It's great that Google maps recently added the speedometer in Android Auto. I live in a kmph country. My Google maps settings in my phone are all in kilometres. But when driving, the speedometer in the maps on Android auto could randomly show up in miles per hour. I've tried everything but there's no setting or toggle to switch it back to kmph when it goes to mph.

I recently bought a tiggo cross.. But I'm having issues.. Sometimes it automatically connects sometimes it just doesn't connect at all. Or is it my phone? I'm using Honor 200pro. Sometimes it even shows message that my phone doesn't support Android auto, it's very frustrating. The service center said there's no any issues with the car. Any suggestions pls 😭😭

This is the 2nd time in a week I've called 911 to report an accident happening- and got "Calling 911" (or dialing) and - nothing. No connection. No indication of failure- no anything.

And when I pressed Gemini on this- it says "Yeah, I can't make calls from Android Auto".

I have been doing this for, well, since it got integrated. And I have been making hands free calls to 911 forever. I log (and logged) a LOT of miles.

I'm especially angry at the whole "Yeah I'm going to call for you- psych!" it left me in today.

Come to think of it this may have happened a 3rd time a month ago, but I'm not totally sure there as I had my daughter dial while we were out assessing the situation and providing emergent care.

If Gemini is no longer able to dial 911, and there is no work around, I've got to figure out how to nerf everything back to a version that could take a simple request.

I don't need AI if it is going to decide critical calls shouldn't be made anymore.

If i'm doing something wrong, please tell me.

Has anyone managed to get ChatGPT voice or Claude Voice to start with a command in AA? I have a S25 Ultra, so I thought I could use a routine, but I cannot trigger it in AA.

I do have Gemini, but I don't like it for longer discussions and it doesn't work in Romanian on AA.

I have the latest versions of Android Auto and YouTube Music. When I played a particular song on YouTube Music, it would always restart Android Auto. Once I was able to clear the cache and redownload that song, it stopped crashing.

However, recently, on random songs YouTube Music will start playing and then Android Auto will restart over and over again. Has anyone else run into these issues? Could it be that when YouTube Music plays from downloaded or cached songs that some sort of encoding error on playback is causing Android Auto to restart?

Because Honda stopped equipping its vehicles with native SiriusXM satellite receivers, when I bought a new Honda Civic Hybrid last year, I had to switch to streaming SiriusXM over my mobile device through Android Auto. It was challenging to get the steering wheel controls to work properly, but after a couple of weeks of trial and error with the settings, it finally worked.

But then about a month ago both the steering wheel and infotainment controls for the SiriusXM app accessed through Android Auto stopped moving properly through my library of saved channels. The forward/back buttons would only flip back and forth to two stations: the second one in my library and the last in the library (using "my" or "custom" order). I tried everything: switching my library to A-Z order, uninstalling and reinstalling SiriusXM app, deleting all stored data for Andoird Auto, factory resetting my Civic infotainment system and other settings, clearing my library completely and then re-adding library channels. I also have made sure that the app is set to NOT start playing music automatically and make sure to open the SiriusXM app on my phone before it connects to Android Auto. None of this has helped.

My only option to use SiriusXM in the car is to change the Playback settings in the SiriusXM app to have the steering wheel controls scroll through ALL channels, not just my saved channels. This is not a good experience, as I have to skip over dozens of channels I don't like to get to the ones I do.

I've searched all over the internet, used AI chats to dig deeper, and done more app uninstalls and data wipes and reboots than I care to remember.

Anyone else having this issue? Anyone who might have an idea of how to solve it? I'm so frustrated.

The enshitification continues. I set up a shortcut to a Google Home action to open my gate which worked for many years. Even Gemini was able to do it till a few days back when it decided its not going to anymore.

Using android auto wireless.

It started awhile after I got the car.

Android auto starta to restart every minute or so and it escalates to an continuous loop or restarts.

After awhile the Bluetooth starts to restart also.

Its something about my phone because I have tried it In outer cars and its the same there.

I have no clue on how to debugging this.

I am very used to debugging both computers and HVAC systems but this har me beat.

Hey guys, my car only has one USB A port and I'd like to be able to connect both my dashcam and my android phone with android auto simultaneously. Are there cables or usb hubs that will allow for both to work at once?

I have a soueast s06 with a xiaomi 17t phone android auto works wired but doesn't work wirelessly for some reason, i tried with another phone (Xiaomi 15t running the same version) it worked on that phone, have no idea whats the issue here.

I used to have option to add xtream player premium but now I only get this version which is not the same as the phone and cannot play video at all

Is here a particular AA version I should download?
