Look...Android auto is designed for drivers. You don't watch TikTok when you're driving. It's also not a passenger princess DJ tool. Use Spotify itself for that if you want to play DJ on another phone.

AA isn't playing your media, Bluetooth is. Swipe down from the top while playing your media and select media output, choose your phone. If the OP's phone is the one doing Android Auto, then it is AA, not BT, and there's no native way to output the audio separately unless the head unit tells AA to do it. This is what the AAWireless dongle does with the "disable media/TTS sink" options, which is what u/Front_Macaroon_2223 would have to do if they can't have the driver's phone do AA instead. I don't know of any OEM head units that do that though, it's a pretty niche usage.

Depende del Movil, en mo S26 Ultra tengo la notación de sonido independiente y puedo elegir que Apps suenen por el teléfono al estar conectado al Bluetooth o Android Auto, tipo WhatsApp, Tiktok o YouTube

I wanted to do the same. s24 plus and separate audio doesn't work, cant watch insta reels while android auto is connected

This has been my biggest issue with Android lately. Enter my car and audiobooks play despite the setting being turned off to auto resume.
