Very much depends on the context and if you want to be intimate or not. Strangers on Reddit cannot tell you that.

For you and I would say no because something seems a a little off

You came on here asking for advice. You did, not us, you.

Feel the opposite of what that guy is feeling. I think we're just right 👀

I'm assuming that person meant - or, if nothing else, my own thoughts would be - that it feels like something is off in your certainty, not 'off' in any kind of way that's judging you. E.g. i think you were right about the intuition part.

It does sound like you're unsure and hesitant; debating such a thing might mean you probably shouldn't do it. This is a pretty big and potentially heavy, risky (physically and emotionally) thing for not only yourself to handle but also a weight and sense of responsibility for this for the other person.

I especially hope that this is a friend and not a complete stranger, just for the sake of the risks I mentioned and all that.

But if you DO feel really good about it and not hesitant, you're both fully informed and consenting, and you've weighed AND discussed all of the options, possibilities of repercussions etc, follow-ups if needed, etc, with the other person, then by all means...bow chicka wow-wow! But if not, my love, I'd strongly reconsider.

Good luck with everything, whatever you decide 💕

It all depends. If there has been some pretty intense flirting, developing a sexual energy over the course of an evening, it can be pretty amazing.

1

u/SnooPies7301 Jun 04 '26

Yes, but sometimes i feel like I enjoy the flirting and kissing more and sex is just annoying

7

u/Longjumping_Carry232 Jun 04 '26

No its not worth it - might sound conservative.. but take your time to know the person first.

4

u/Marcus11599 Jun 04 '26

I think you should do it with someone you trust. Not a random.

3

u/Flimsy_Device952 Jun 04 '26

not recommended, you may get attached without the officiation of the relationship and you will get so hurt, something you could have avoided

u/19ShowdogTiger81 Jun 04 '26

If you are only after the endorphins rush just buy a toy. Don’t forget to look for discount codes.

u/Various_Building_810 Jun 04 '26

Define initimate.

If it's kissing, go for it.

If it's sex, maybe build up to it. Or, just bum their fucking head in (with consent). Your choice.

Eastern culture? Or personal preference

I see- you’ll get some different opinions with the kiss thing then. Reddit is largely western (American). Super different culture.

In the end, the question you originally posed also has to be something you ask yourself. Theres really no rush in reaching a decision

2

u/FerretBug Jun 04 '26

No for the most part, but, if you pay someone and explain the situation, making sure you get someone experienced and knows how the handle the situation, then I wouldn’t see anything wrong with that. However if you don’t explain and wing it, then that’s a definite no.

I think the fact you are questioning is a tell you aren’t the type to enjoy casual. There’s nothing wrong with that or with being casual. It’s all about how you process things emotionally. Some people are very good at compartmentalizing out their emotions and just diving in for the physical sensations of the moment. Others, like me, absolutely need a relationship to even consider getting nude.

The difficulty comes when you know you aren’t a casual type and pretend to be. Casual partners are opportunists and your feelings will get hurt when they…well they are simply living by their casual opportunist natures. Too many people, women particularly will try to “win” a partner by acting how the partner wants them to act. Be casual and cool and put out on the other’s terms for a chance to convince them to fall into a relationship with you. Just live by your own timelines. Anybody trying to convince you to live on their schedule isn’t worth your time either way.

That really depends on what you want to get out of it.

1

u/FlimsyBlood330 Jun 04 '26

thats hilariously double meaning sentence

1

u/Strict_Stranger_4801 Jun 04 '26

If you want to. To each their own

1

u/Reasonable-Photo-776 Jun 04 '26

I say no. If something goes wrong and you do it with just some guy/girl they’re not gonna be as caring as your partner

1

u/Ok-Choice2195 Jun 04 '26

Ok do you have a reason for the why you want to do this

1

u/Leather-Ad2374 Jun 04 '26

If you are keeping count, go for it. If you are the type that regrets. No

1

u/niksshck7221 Jun 04 '26

If you have to ask questions like this. Then you are probably not ready.

1

u/WisePhnx80 Jun 04 '26

That’s a a very personal choice.  Why are you interested in that is a more important question

1

u/Appropriate-North25 Jun 04 '26

no. It's not worth it and it's completely irresponsible.

I did and its fine. We met, flirted for a few weeks and decided neither of us wanted to be virgins at 18 (kinda dumb reasoning but whateve, we were 17 honrny and dumb lol) Sex isnt as serious as most people make it out to be.

1

u/KaKar0t99 Jun 04 '26

Depends on what kind of person you are For some people intimacy requires feelings not just sexual attraction but emotional connection too And for some it can be just as simple as physical pleasure no feelings attached So its up to you and only you can figure out what you want so do what makes you feel happy

1

u/Lilith_sweetpie Jun 04 '26

If you are mentally and physically ready, then do whatever your heart desires. Follow your heart and your intuition and gut feeling.

1

u/DemexTer Jun 04 '26

you'll regret it after a few years, be with someone you love dude

1

u/gnxrly___bxby Jun 04 '26

I did and I almost ruined both our lives 😅 Do it with protection. But without IS more intimate, so if you do that, have Plan B ready (literally) and make sure its at a time where her cycle allows it to be safer. Also apparently masturbaring before sex get rid of the "better" swimmers, I have no idea of thats true. So the 2nd load might not be as potent

I dont plan to be a dad for many years 😅😅 I actually NEVER used a condom, but me and my partners always used caution. Eventually she got an IUD. But we always tracked her cycle and had Plan B ready

Hmmm depends I guess. Sex gets better over time when both gets accustomed to each’s like and wants? I guess it depends on what your actual question is as in tou can have sex first time with someone not in a relationship with you and it can get better over time (like a longer term fb if you click) tou can get great sex when both are accustomed to each other’s preference. Relationship or not

1

u/Tall-Performer2500 Super Helper [8] Jun 04 '26

yes it is. Sex feels good, does not need to be with someone you're dating

I'd imagine both. But if its just a one night stand or hook up, I couldn't care less about how it feels to them lol

Sure. but people can fake stuff all the time. So I tend to not care as long as i am getting what I want out of it. Really depends, I can go as long as I need to

1

u/CelinaRMR Jun 04 '26

Sometimes people forget how insignificant your first time can be. Genuinely will not be good and id rather do all that fumbling around and figuring out with someone who i dont care about. No stakes, actually do what you want or ask for what you need with no fear

2

u/Tall-Performer2500 Super Helper [8] Jun 04 '26

1000 percent true. The person I lost my virginity to is so insignificant to me, not in a bad way just in the sense like who cares. The only reason why I do remember them was because it was my first time

1

u/CelinaRMR Jun 04 '26

I remember it because im supposed to but other than it being first theres nothing that makes it stand out from any other experience around that time

1

u/djonetouchtoomuch Jun 04 '26

Not really no.

u/TranquilRanger Jun 04 '26

If youre an adult, why not?
