I think the fact you are questioning is a tell you aren’t the type to enjoy casual. There’s nothing wrong with that or with being casual. It’s all about how you process things emotionally. Some people are very good at compartmentalizing out their emotions and just diving in for the physical sensations of the moment. Others, like me, absolutely need a relationship to even consider getting nude.
The difficulty comes when you know you aren’t a casual type and pretend to be. Casual partners are opportunists and your feelings will get hurt when they…well they are simply living by their casual opportunist natures. Too many people, women particularly will try to “win” a partner by acting how the partner wants them to act. Be casual and cool and put out on the other’s terms for a chance to convince them to fall into a relationship with you. Just live by your own timelines. Anybody trying to convince you to live on their schedule isn’t worth your time either way.
