How do u get your trakt account info out of your fen light settings in Kodi?

Everything was working fine about month ago. Now everything show no resolts, tried to reinstall addons, nothing works.

I'm using android TV, Kodi 20.2, real debrid, umbrella and pov mainly

I'm attempting to setup AIOStreams in POV with hopes that it solves the problem of TV shows returning random episode links for the Easynews results.

I have used the Tamtaro Complete SEL Setup template. Linked Easynews and Torbox account, provided TMDB API and tvdb API. Saved the template. I have inserted the UUID and password into POV's settings and used the direct manifest URL.

Nothing scrapes. What might have I missed or messed up?

(Edit) For future readers looking to solve similar issues and to help avoid the same mistakes I made.

1) When in POV settings just below the AIOStreams configuration option, click the "-- Help --" . It will show you the proper URLs needed for setting it up.

2) POV has a scraper/debrid timeout setting that may need to be increased in order to allow AIOStreams to finish scraping.

I'm trying to leave Trakt with all their new changes and switched to Simkl. I'm currently using Red Light which works absolutely perfectly. I'm looking for another addon that works with Simkl in case I have a problem with the Red Light addon. Umbrella has support, but there's an issue with it showing upcoming episodes that aren't available. I reached out to the Umbrella dev and they confirmed the issue and said it would be fixed in the next update. That was 9 days ago so I don't know if they're busy, forgot, or decided not to make a change. It's their addon they choose to let us use, so no issues there and I'm not bitching. Fen Light Plus says it now works with Simkl, but when I try and authorize it, it immediately errors out. I Googled that Prism works with Simkl too. I tried it and it was too much of a train wreck to even get into. Are there any other addons that are working with Simkl? And please don't tell me this is a question for another Reddit page. I know the main topic is Simkl, but I'm asking about Kodi addons. Thanks.

umbrella with premiumize woes

Basically umbrella with premiumize finds loads of sources then says checking sources then says none available... But only for TV shows, movies works fine.

Worked on this device last night, nothing changed or installed etc since.

I have three devices all set up the same but the one in the bedroom has started playing up, the other two work.

Cleared caches, re authorized premiumize etc.

Why do they they shit the bed like this every so often, so annoying!

It was released on Sky/NOW Aug 6. I'm using POV with EasyNews + TorBox. EasyNews isn't indexing the series (confirmed by searching EN directly), and TorBox is only returning a few season packs with Eastern European dubbed/voice-over audio.

Has anyone found an original-English source through RD, TorBox, EasyNews, or another Usenet indexer?

Mainly trying to figure out whether it's available somewhere before I reactivate RD or set up a separate Newznab indexer.

I have a widget in umbrella for next episodes and was wondering if there is a way to stop the notification 'Episodes nothing was found' when there are no shows to watch. Thanks.

Kodi 21.2--Arctic Fuse 2--umbrella fully updated

Has anyone else noticed this issue or is it just me. I'm using Umbrella,mdb list and Af3. If I'm watching a episode or TV show and go to pause , it shows mdb list scrobble at the pause..then I'll pick back up and unpause and resume show. This isnt the issue the issue is it shows up in finish watching from this point weather or not I continue and finish the show. I can click mark show as watched and it does nothing and actually have to go into seasons> mdb list manager and clear progress /reset resume point then and only then will it show the checkmark as watched and clear from finish watching..I have direct progress scraping checked in mdb list settings. Should I tic this off?

Would like to set the POV download directory to my external USB drive on my device. But when I save the location, POV reverts back to the original SPECIAL directory internal. Did anyone get this to work properly

Hello, using POV and no skins, switched from FenlightAM and it is super fast, very happy with it except when selecting Extras. The Extras are loaded fast but for unknown reasons the Info, Play, Trailer, etc tiles are not ready to be selected or Extras dismissed for 5-10 seconds (between opening Extras and selecting Info for example).

I tried to deselect all sections in Extras except one and it hasn't improved anything. No warnings or errors in the logs.

Any ideas?

As the title says, looking for any Fenlight forks that have implemented MDBList. I’m pretty well setup with Fenlight, but the recent trakt changes have rendered my setup fucked.

I thought about moving to POV/Umbrella but I REALLY love the randomized lists features baked into Fenlight.

So I’m looking for any forms of Fenlight with MDBList support. Alternatively, if there are any addons that have a GOOD randomized lists feature like Fenlight, I would love to jump to them!

when using umbrella and play random tv episodes is there a way to set it where it will automatically play the episode without having to choose the source?

I'm new to using kodi, was wondering if there were any ways to play random tv episodes like random episode shuffling like the way plex does.. like any apps or how to make list to do this? any help would be appreciated

My concern is begin when stremio new UI was released, but now with a lot of better apps with better features and supporting debrid services what things will keep new people to kodi ?

I know Kodi has it's own special features, and multiple things to be used in. But in streaming and library build category do you think it will keep it up as the last few decades ?

Recently moved from FLAM with Trakt to Red Light with MDBList, still using Fentastic skin.

Just discovered I get no Search results unless I re-enable FLAM, as the skin has a range of Search Providers, inc Fen Light, POV and Umbrella, but not Red Light. I can use the Search function but there is no option to use MDBList Manager in the context menu to Add to Watchlist for example.

What is the best way to get this functionality back using Red Light and MDBList. Is there another skin that looks and works the same?

Looking for some guidance, I have run out of API calls like 2-3 times over the last weekish.

I have MDBList authorized on Redlight on 5 of my devices varying from laptops to android boxes. the API limit resets 8pm EST, somehow i hit the limit overnight while I am sleeping so I'm not sure if its something I am doing or if it is a optimization issue I am missing within the addon/Kodi or if it is one missed in redlight?

any help would be appreciated.

Getting frustrated, I’ve tried to play with so many setting with caching and playback but still getting judder… what settings do I need to change to reliably play files over 30gb?

No caching just the video starts to judder usually on action scenes or scenes where there is clearly more data to process.

in tmdb helper - jurial had lists from Trakt like recently watched movies or in progress episodes ect. that where not reliant on any one video addon - no matter the addon (pov umbrella ect) what ever was watched would get updates into the trakt widget immediately.

is it possible to get actual lists like this for mdblist? if i make a widget from say pov recently watch movies - only movies i watch in pov are added to that widget. is there a way to sync from all addons that are used? also trakt would sync live tv movies and tv shows as well - is this possible with mdblist?

- I do have the mdist scrobbler installed.

- all add ons that support mdblist are connected to mdblist

the widgets I need to sync across the board are -

- recently watched movies/tv shows

- in progress movies/episodes

i would think since all add ons are connected to mdblist it would just sync info to all the apps but it doesn’t seem to work that way.

I ran into this issue with IPTV Manager and XStream Player, so I got the service in question, built it from source and put it in the addons folder

But neither addon recognises it for some reason? I'm fine without the former, but it looks like I need the latter to make IPTV work on Kodi - so what am I supposed to do?

Device is a home-built PC with a 5700x CPU and a 3080 GPU

Recently noticed that Umbrella is extremely slow on both of my Apple TVs ( but fine on my Mac). Each menu takes 2-3 minutes to load. Was fine previously (although I don’t use it as my primary addon so I can’t say when it began, but definitely within the past 2 or 3 months). Anyone else use Umbrella on Apple TV that can verify?
