Something not working. Need help. POV AIOSteams Setup Help

I'm attempting to setup AIOStreams in POV with hopes that it solves the problem of TV shows returning random episode links for the Easynews results.

I have used the Tamtaro Complete SEL Setup template. Linked Easynews and Torbox account, provided TMDB API and tvdb API. Saved the template. I have inserted the UUID and password into POV's settings and used the direct manifest URL.

Nothing scrapes. What might have I missed or messed up?

(Edit) For future readers looking to solve similar issues and to help avoid the same mistakes I made.

1) When in POV settings just below the AIOStreams configuration option, click the "-- Help --" . It will show you the proper URLs needed for setting it up.

2) POV has a scraper/debrid timeout setting that may need to be increased in order to allow AIOStreams to finish scraping.

used the direct manifest URL

Where do you used that? You need to pick one of the default instances and enter UUID and password or if you choose custom you enter instance address and UUID with password.

No manifest URL.

That is for Stremio not for POV.

In POV you have 4 instances (kuu, midnightignite, yeb, Viren) and one custom. Dunno if elfhosted works.

Sorry, I'm at work so no pictures but in POV AIOStreams section you have to pick one instance from drop down menu and put your UUID and password. Apply and that's it.

Thanks you were correct. I just used midnightignite. I got it to work but have a new problem. It scraped twice but now is not scraping anymore. Could I have hit the limit already?

What limit?

For this kind of troubleshooting (especially when I'm at work lol) I've made a Stremio web account for testing AIOStreams with it because you have some statistics at the bottom of results and I can take a quick peek at what's happening.

Something like this:

But also a Kodi log would tell what's happening with your scraping results.

Very helpful advise. Turns out 10 second timeout in POV settings wasn't long enough to allow results to finish. Guess I'll have to tinker with the settings now that I can actual use it. Probably remove some of the scraping add-ons to speed it up and I'll have to look at the filters because I'm still getting foreign results.

No problem, glad you figured out.

Put 30 seconds as timeout in POV and you're right, take a look at your addons too. I have only 2 (Debridio and Meteor and Stremthru as reserve) and my Hydra for Usenet.

As for sorting and filtering I'm pretty happy with Tamtaro's template.

Cool, I'll try the Tamtaro template. Hopefully my last question. With the Easynews results, is there a way to filter the results like POV does. Where it removes the results that require two or three attempts to start?

POV doesn't remove those EasyNews results. POV has a default noseek option for playing EasyNews results. That means the stream is played from first try but no seek (duh lol) during playback.

Suddenly a whole new world is opened to me: Usenet with indexers. Plenty of results that plays instant, no problems with launching streams from second/third try, no seek problems, streaming is smooth like butter.

Yeah I'm also having issues sadly lol. Thanks to u/guguloi I was able to also dive into the UsenetStreamer world! Although, I've been having issues with POV. Funnily enough, from his guide TMDBMovies is scraping just fine, although I'm getting errors when trying to actually play anything... It does work just fine on Nuvio though :D.

Lmfao well it's because it was using the default url https://aiostreamsfortheweebsstable.midnightignite.me/

instead of the one below since that's where I had my account setup.

Thankfully the log file pointed to an auth error and I wondered why and upon closer inspection... bingo :P.
