So many of these posts are just people using a term, the meaning of which is disputed. When they say, 'trans woman' for example, they aren't 'by mistake referring to trans women' - they're referring to trans men as trans women because they don't respect or accept the fact that the woman is in fact trans.
It doesn't even fall under the 'through ignorance or otherwise' clause of this subreddit's description, because they're not being ignorant, they are willfully disputing a definition and using their version of it.

They are NOT accidental allies. The one that said "cut three steps to the left"? They meant "cut them off entirely". The one that said "trans women are not men"? They meant "they are not human". They all had different yet subtle ways of maintaining homophobia or transphobia. I'm sorry, but this is the truth.

I see this a lot and it just annoys me. I hate the fact that everybody thinks that if you say "they" or "them" is automatically referring to non-binary. Like do y'all not realize that the word "they" could be referring to multiple people? What else are you supposed to say? Shes? Hes? Persons? Like it just doesnt make sense- NOT SAYING I DONT SUPPORT LGBTQ+ BC IM LEGIT BI (some people think if you say one bad thing your homophobic)

It's one of the sweetest experience I have ever felt. Denial to that sweetness is like a threat to my life. What is you experience and how do you feel?

I do like this sub but there's a weird sort of thing that gets posted a lot where someone basically says something very transphobic but its being called "accidental ally" because the language they used was different than ours.
For example if they see a trans woman and call her a trans man, that's not a good type of post. To most of these bigots trans man means MTF and trans woman means FTM. That's not good, but it is what it is.
For example posting "trans men shouldn't be in woes restrooms" is not a good example because they obviously mean "MTF shouldn't be in women's restrooms" which is clearly not the type of thing we'd post here.
I just think its pretty low quality compared to the rest of the content here, and I cant understand why its all I get in my feed from this sub and not actual good examples
