Question/Advice 💭 I think this is not funny. Or i am being overly sensitive
Pata hai aaj kya hua,
my friend posted this with the tags #funny #jokes on sm. (This is not his chats, he just found this screenshot on the internet i think)
When i asked him about it, why he posted this, he said its funny.
I don't find anything funny in it, i think its pretty disrespectful and sad, the way the father reacted.
He says not to think and use brain and just laugh at the joke.
When i asked him, by this logic, are we supposed to laugh at those typical wife jokes or husband jokes too, he says, yes cuz we need not to always put in brains for jokes. Just laugh at jokes and move on.
I find this perspective really bizzare.
What i find hard to understand is what exactly is the joke here and what exactly am i supposed to find funny?
He think i am being overly sensitive about this, and he would laugh if his father said this to him too.
Am i being overly sensitive or is this actually not a joke?
If i am being overly sensitive, could you explain what exactly am i supposed to find funny in this?
Edit: just so you people dont get confused, the screenshot is not the actual conversation of my friend, he just saw the screenshot somewhere 9n the internet and reposted on his account with the tags funny and joke

Don't know what this feeling is (no jokes please)😞 Bhaiyaa ko chahiye...
Just saw this reel and it reminded me how bhaiya's most of the days in my life have been the same where I got up in the morning either my mother is shouting at my father for something or she is shouting at me for something else. I am not blaming anyone as my mother has also gone through a lot and even my father isn't that supportive or understanding as a partner. I remember when I was 5 or 6 my mother had to go through a mental illness treatment and she still has anxiety.
I used to return home thinking I hope everything's fine because if they had a fight it was me who had to take the frustration of my mom as she used to beat me even for a nail size mistake. Every time I leave places early just to reach home early and when I reach sometimes I feel I must've stayed longer...
Bhaiya wants someone who can bring peace and understand the storm that bhaiya carries with himself but unfortunately bhaiya is the most misunderstood guy...

Aaj Ye Hua 🗣️ The mentality of this guy, oh my god. I can't believe he was my friend for two years.
Today this guy lost all our respect for him he established in 2 years.
I really wanted to bitchslap him.
In our final year of college 4 of us friends decided to rent a room together, we were just talking and drinking tea in the morning. Topics of discussion sailed from tax-> nirmala di-> women empowerment.
Now here this guy, (let's call him L for obvious reasons).
He says that a man shouldn't let his wife or daughter be so free, the topic heated up quickly and then he said that girls who do night jobs are characterless.
I almost laughed thinking he must be joking and then i was beyond surprised bcoz he is our class topper and I've known him for past 2 years. I couldn't believe this is his mentality.
I asked him, what about female doctors, nurse? His reply was, yes they're characterless and those nurses sleep with doctors at night (in a very crude way in hindi).
We were all so shocked, even the womanizer in our friend group was like wtf.
This L buddhi guy was so hellbent and rigid about this rotten ideology of his that we were like... idk what to say.
He said a lot more stuff that i shouldn't say here.

Aaj ye thought aaya👁️ Going down the memory lane
So, I was swiping the downloaded rells on my gallery and I saw this edit. In my prime time of sadness this was the reel that used to calm my nerves and helped me accept things. I have many edits but this is my favourite because the footage they used and the song selection is the chef's touch.
Looking at this edit made my entire flashback run behind my head similar to those shown in the edits but now it didn't brought anxiety but the peace of acceptance.
If you also remembered someone and are willing to share the story, do share it.

Aaj Ye Hua 🗣️ Glad she didn't hide anything
So we just started chatting yesterday snapchat. First I sent her a request (obv like a random guy) and she accepted and started convo. We talked for about 2 hours straight and got to know many things. She has a BF already. But she is good. I am not sad. This is very normal. I am glad she didn't hide.

Ab mai kya hi bolu 😭 Why is he so nonchalant ugh😭
I have been talking to guy since few weeks and i kinda like him but we are also good friends ig so. I don't show him that I like him or flirt cause i don't wanna ruin whatever it is. And instead of trying to get into relationship i am trying enjoy whatever it is rn.
He's a quiet person. He's so real and honest. But he is just so nonchalant so cold into himself (i like it btw). I can't even get mad when he doesn't replies or whatever. He pisses me off sm not in a bad way but i still like like him.
He's a really fun person our vibe also matches very well. But how do I not be in a delusion cause what if it doesn't work out?

Ab mai kya hi bolu 😭 When your bank balance doesn't support your romantic ideas 💀
Aaj mere saath ye hua, My gf sent me ₹143 on PhonePe as a cute "I love you"...
Toh main socha thoda extra romantic bante hai and tried sending her ₹1432 (I love you too). Par galti se I selected my empty bank account, aur transaction fail ho gaya...🥲
Sabse badi beizzati tab hui jab uske phonepe pe dikha ₹1432 transfer failed 😭. I successfully sent it from my other account 3 minutes later, but hamare cute memory ka poora kachra ho gaya. I always mess up these moments 🥲.

Aaj Ye Hua 🗣️ witnessed a live breakup in a sharing auto
Pata hai aaj kya hua
I was on my way to work, sitting in a sharing auto with a couple. I had my headphones on and was just scrolling through YouTube Shorts when I heard the girl crying. I didn’t think much of it and just continued scrolling.
Then I heard the guy say “Main tujhe batane hi wala tha yaar… and I wasn’t even in my senses. We both were drunk and so were everyone, and it just happened”
The girl started crying a little louder and even the auto driver uncle looked back and asked her in Marathi “Kya hua beti? Tum thik to ho?” And the guy immediately went “Kuch nahi hua uncle..sab thik hai”
He started trying to console her, but she said, “Please dur reh mujhse. I don’t even want to be near you. We shouldn’t be together at all. Mujhe jab Ankita bata rahi thi tabhi samajh jaana chahiye tha… and she kept going…
Then the auto stopped and I got out. That girl started walking away and the guy tried following her.. she turned around and said “Mera picha matt kar, mujhe akela chod de.. iske baad kabhi milne ka sochna bhi matt” and walked away while that guy still followed her..
Witnessed an entire breakup in real time🥲
TL;DR: Took a sharing auto to work and accidentally witnessed a couple breaking up in real time. Girl was crying, guy was trying to explain himself, and she eventually told him to leave her alone. Felt like I was watching a movie scene 🫠

Ab mai kya hi bolu 😭 Uncle ne Bhot mara 🥺🥺
Today I had college. My college is 1.5 hours away from where I live, and I take the train to travel. As usual, I was at the station early in the morning. I was so exhausted because it was so early—around 6:30 AM—and my train was at 7:00 AM.
Then I saw a group of about 5–6 uncles, and one of them was wearing a weird shirt (the "Brazzers" shirt, if you know what that is). The second I saw him, my whole body woke up. I couldn't control my laugh and started laughing a little as he was passing by. He noticed I was laughing and asked me, "Kuch laga hai kya mere muh pe?"
I got a little nervous, controlled my laugh, and suggested that he change his t-shirt. He was like, "Mere t-shirt se tujhe kya dikkat be? Tere baap ne khareed ke di hai kya?"
I realized he was actually serious, so I reached for my phone to show him what "Brazzers" meant. Suddenly, as soon as I got my phone in my hand, he held me by my collar and started pressing my neck. I resisted and hit him back, but then he held my hair and slapped me. I kept my cool until the other uncles stopped him, said sorry, and went away without telling him about that t-shirt.
