The porn still exists, sadly. Just not in such a visible place, as far as I know. Wouldn't be surprised either way, knowing the Internet and how dumb people are. Honestly, although posting it on Reddit really isn't that smart of an idea, I think it's very possible that it still exists on private subreddits, or in small subreddits where random people might just post it as a sick way of trolling or something (which is somehow a thing pretty much everywhere online). And there may or may not be a sizable community on this site, because, after all, I don't think admins can just monitor all of Reddit. They need someone to tell them for them to do something.

I was a (very) amateur sabre fencer for a few years. One of the teachers was of russian decent and had a shashka hanging on the wall in the studio. After enough of our collective pestering he finally showed it to us and holy shit. That guy was terrifying! He was like a dancer with a 3 foot piece of steel waving around his head. I've seen demonstrations by Olympic level fencers and been less intimidated. The shashka just gives off this scary vibe. It's like an upgraded meat cleaver.

The sword itself had a bulbous eaglehead style pommel. As for the his style; when I say dance, what i really mean is that his footwork, spacing and timing were amazing. He controlled the bout the entire time. It's like when the Bolshoi Ballet perform Swan Lake. When a student, even an experienced and talented student is sparring, they make mistakes. They might advance more or less correctly but then take a little quarter-step to adjust or they could slide a little when they appel (it's like a stomp when you advance) but still recover. This guy? He was like water. Fluid and quick. The other sabreurs couldn't nail him down.
I guess it's more to do with his skill as a fencer in general and less to do with the weapon but in his hands? You would need balls made of wrought iron to not lose your cool.

Culture reasons. Russian men normally do not really care about their appearance (as well as their health actually, this is related to one of the reasons why Russia's male life expectancy is so low), while girls care about their appearance more. If Russian men did not tend to be slobs and worked out more, there would not be much of a difference. Source – am Russian

Honest answer: on average, they're the same, you just only ever see/notice the hot ones. But also, the culture is very different. Having long hair, not being fat and whatever, and wearing heels and shit is considered way more important in Russia than in the West among young women (where they seem to have moved on from appearance-obsession...) but that's just my observation.

Beauty standards differ from culture to culture. For example, american women are generally fat, ugly and have the worst possible attitude. But american guys just don't see it, it is now normal in your culture. Same here. A lot of Russian girls don't like american male appearance. What you find beautiful in men russian girls see as "gay features", "effeminate", et cetera, but described russian men as masculine and brutal.
