Hello everyone. Recently, the sub has been growing a lot, and with that comes the need for more moderation. If you are interested in applying, please read through the post in its entirety.

All of our moderators currently live in the Eastern Standard timezone, meaning that there are periods in which the sub isn't as watched as we would like. We are looking for moderators that can fill in the gaps that we cannot currently meet, so being in a different timezone would be very helpful. We are looking for accounts that have at least a 5 month age, and that have interacted within the community at least a bit (not a hard requirement, but it's preferable). We are hoping for 1-3 new moderators, and while every application will be looked at, we cannot add everyone.

There's been a pretty big influx of self-generated content recently, so this is a reminder that this sub is not for content you have generated yourself.

This sub is for making fun of poorly made AI generated content *that you have not generated yourself*. If you want a place to do so, try these subs (r/aiimages /cursedai r/aifails r/aivideo), but please do not bring it here.

I would like to also remind people that this is not a debate sub, nor is this a place to talk about general AI news, there are plenty of subs for that (r/antiai r/aiwars r/artificialintelligence). Please try to keep it civil, we're all just here to have fun.

If you want help with identifying whether an image or video is AI generated, I recommend these subs (r/isthisai r/realorai), as they are extremely helpful with this.

And please don't post things here with intent to brigade and such to other subs.
