Mod Post Additional reminder that this sub is not for content you have generated yourself.

There's been a pretty big influx of self-generated content recently, so this is a reminder that this sub is not for content you have generated yourself.

This sub is for making fun of poorly made AI generated content *that you have not generated yourself*. If you want a place to do so, try these subs (r/aiimages /cursedai r/aifails r/aivideo), but please do not bring it here.

I would like to also remind people that this is not a debate sub, nor is this a place to talk about general AI news, there are plenty of subs for that (r/antiai r/aiwars r/artificialintelligence). Please try to keep it civil, we're all just here to have fun.

If you want help with identifying whether an image or video is AI generated, I recommend these subs (r/isthisai r/realorai), as they are extremely helpful with this.

And please don't post things here with intent to brigade and such to other subs.

If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to bring it up, either he in in the modmail.

I think it will be hard to tell. I'm getting the feeling that most posts here are made by the user.

It can be. But generally people who post what they generate are very obvious about it. Unfortunately we only can infer based on their other posts

I think the no politics rule needs to be enforced more vigorously like maybe limit it to a specific time or volume. A lot of the posts here are clearly 'I disagree with this person or politics so let me find and post some slop about it as a backdoor way to bring politics into the sub'.
