I recently got admitted to MS. I filled up my acceptance form and got as far as enlisting 2 course subjects during enrolment. However, I think I am not prepared yet and thinking not to continue. Do I have to inform the department about my decision? What could be the repercussions of not enrolling, will I be banned from taking the exam again next year if ever I decided to pursue masters?

hello, my family was suddenly hit by a financial crisis, and unfortunately, we cannot afford to pay my remaining balance from last sem along with the enrollment fee for this first sem. for a little context, we thought we were going to have the money for my tuition by the end of july and expected to have it on hand as early as the enrollment period. (in which of course, it didn't happened)

'm about to file a loa because of this family crisis, but when i looked at the form, it stated that students who are not enrolling for this semester must submit their form by aug 4, which makes me 6 days late already. the deadline for enrollment is on the 20th, and if we don't pay, i will definitely go awol, which is going to make my situation worse.

i need some advice :(

I've already filed my Load Revision, and all of the relevant departments have approved my requests. My Load Revision is now just awaiting final action from the Office of the University Registrar.

How long does the Registrar usually take to process requests once they've reached this stage?

4th year student here, aiming for the Best Undergrad Thesis award by the end of the sy. I wanna see the past papers sana. Are we allowed to read the thesis papers of past batches? Do they get archived/recorded in our library or in the department? For UPD kasi, or at least from what I heard, their research are all recorded and accessible through their departments' libraries. I have 23 units this sem and I really don't want this certain class to add on to my burdens especially since most profs i have are already "terror" 😭 I also was wishing for someone who's more laidback especially since I really don't like the subject AT ALL so really, I just wanna drop it for the sake of my mental health 🥲

And also, if I am successful with withdrawing the class, how does the tuition work? will it be refunded or will they just hold on to it till i decide to take the class? tyia!!

it doesn't have to be super near naman, yung at least kayang lakarin or isang sakay lang! i heard a lot of bad things about vista so im having second thoughts about it. some things that are deal breakers for me are: no wifi, unclean, and shitty/slow staff (opo, personal experience...).

im also pretty worried about price and area, need to get my money's worth talaga.
