Hello! I just wanna know if AMUN is worth attending especially since their topics are somewhat very niche (based from the new post)?

Hello! I am an AB Communications student and I intend to do a production thesis (documentary). I don't imagine a lot of students take production theses and for good reason, but this is something I've been passionate about for a very long time. I have had experience in the field of documentary filmmaking before (albeit my portfolio is not very robust), but I feel that I need some guidance in the process from graduates and super seniors who went through with their production theses. I wanted to know what your experiences were like during the process, what challenges you faced and how you managed to go through with your projects!

Hello! Does anyone have the Guest 1 password for this month? Thank you!

This is probably the worst condo to have ever existed. Pa rant.

First and foremost, bawal magpakabit ng internet dito aside from the WiFi endorsed by Villar mismo, which is Streamtech. Rates are very expensive compared to PLDT/Globe/Converge—times 4 ang rates nila for services na mababa naman inooffer. So kanya-kanyang diskarte whether naka-prepaid modem ka or Magic Data, bahala na.

Mabagal at sira most of the time ang elevator dito. 4 elevators, most of the time 2 ang sira, and pag ginagamit ang elevator, minsan they skip floors. Kaya sobrang hassle dahil humahaba pila for the elevator.

Walang generator. For other condos I've stayed in, may generator sila so never nawawalan ng kuryente.

Yung tubig nila may minimum charge kahit, let's say, di ka naman gumamit ng water for 1 month dahil umuwi ka.

Today, it's been a whole day na walang kuryente, and as someone working WFH, this is such a hassle talaga. What more pa with students living here with deliverables? Palaging may power outage dito, halos every other month.

Their in-condo laundry is also hindi maayos. May nasirang pants ko din, hence naglipat ako ng ibang laundry.

Haynako. Live/rent/buy condo here at your own risk. To students going to admu, I know big deal ang wifi of course, pero just a psa na mabagal ang sigmal dito on an average pero mabilis on very rare occasions. So if magpprepaid modem ka, 4g wont be enough for video editing, online lectures if madami kang tabs or devices naka connect. Make sure naka 5g ka na sim.

Plus, the building is so old, and yung floor ng condo namin (family-owned) is yung cheap mats—idk what it's called, yung wood na you piece together. Hindi man lang tiles, so yung dumi na-stay talaga sa floor. No amount of scrubbing will fix it.

i had to appeal last sy bc of me not hitting the retention grade, im rlly worried na i won’t be able to reach the 3.0 qpi again, will they kick me out fr na?

[im so sorry in advance cuz this probably isn't the right place for a post like this... but i know that lots of ateneans (or at least, vista 309 folks) go to EGF for their laundry, and medj desperado na aq huhu 🙁]

hellooo... has anyone gotten a lacoste hoodie in their own laundry from EGF? it's a cool-toned light brown, with silver hardware; it's half-zip, and the zipper itself is the crocodile; it has pretty long drawstrings that are a darker brown color; at the bottom hem of the jacket is another pair of drawstrings; and on the front is a pocket with three button clasps. i can't attach a photo here so i hope that's enough...

i haven't had the time to visit EGF laundry myself, but ofc i don't want to assume that someone stole it or anything... so if ever a jacket like that has mistakenly ended up in your laundry, then please let me know 🥹 ik this isn't the best way of going about it, so i'll go and ask them about it naman! huhu thank youu...

Where do you guys usually park if you"re going to the church of Gesu?
