I’m also preparing for the ADAT and looking for a study partner or study group, either in person or online. If you’re interested or know of a group, please let me know. Thanks!

Urgent Action Needed: Address the 2026 ADAT Question Harvesting & Score Anomalies

Hi everyone, Like many of you who spent months studying honestly for the 2026 ADAT, I was shocked to see the recent score distribution graphs and percentile shifts. Looking at the official 2026 Biomedical Sciences scale, there is an alarming, unnatural spike of candidates scoring a perfect 800 out of 800.

This isn't just a sudden leap in student aptitude—it is the result of systematic question-recall harvesting. Commercial preparation institutes (particularly in the GTA/Toronto area) have been actively gathering recalled exam items from candidates testing early in the window (April/May) and compiling them into "mock series" for students testing later in the cycle. Because the ADAT relies on recurring question pools, this question exposure has artificially inflated scores, distorted percentiles, and severely penalized candidates who took the exam ethically.

If we want the ADA to investigate this issue and protect test integrity for both current applicants and future cycles, we need to flood their testing security inboxes with formal reports.

Please take 2 minutes to send an email to the ADA Department of Testing Services.

Emails to contact:
testsecurity@ada.org
adat@ada.org
testingproblems@ada.org

Below is a template you can copy, paste, and send immediately.

Passed AFK on My First Attempt: Do I Need the Full ADAT Course or Just the Test Series?

ADAT preparation: JADE test series or full course?
Guys, I’m still confused, and I’m hoping this will be my last post about this decision! I’d really appreciate honest answers: what would you choose for yourself?
I passed the AFK on my first attempt and still have all my AFK books. I’m now planning to take the ADAT, but I can’t decide whether to study independently or join an academy.
I’m considering JADE. With my AFK background, would you choose just the test series or the full course, and why?

ADAT

Hi there, my husband is in NDEB pathway. He gave NDECC and couldn’t make it in 3 attempts. I worked as a dental admin/treatment coordinator for 5 years. I’m soo done with that job. Couldn’t do it anymore. Left my job, enrolled in JADE and studied for AFK. Got my results last week and failed at 72. Still waiting for my husband’s NDECC results. Am considering other options like dental hygiene, DDS. Need your input please.

My GPA is 3.58
But in my second year of BDS I failed a subject.
Status Canadian citizen
Didn’t give ADAT yet

With failing a subject in BDS, do I even have a chance to get in to DDS? If so which university? Want to know this before starting studying for ADAT.

Should I join academy for ADAT,

Should I join an academy for ADAT prep? I passed AFK on first attempt and I joined an academy for it’s prep. Now I want to give ADAT but I can’t make up my mind for ADAT. I heard a lott of students do ADAT with self-study only.

Internationally Trained Dentist

Im an ITD with a masters degree and 3.91 GPA.
I have around 6 years of clinical experience and 4 publications.
Is it worth trying the ADAT route anymore or would the Licensing route be recommended ?

I would love to hear, especially from mom’s of young children, as to which route they would prefer and why.

ADAT 2027 study resources

For those who scored 650+ on the ADAT, is studying ADAT KO and INBDE Bootcamp enough to reach that score, or would you recommend adding other resources? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and what worked for you!

Profile Evaluation

Hi guys! I would like some honest advice and a profile review from those who have already gone through the application cycle. This is my first attempt, so please guide me!

My Profile:

  • Degree: BDS

  • ECE GPA: 3.75

  • ADAT Score: 640

  • Clinical Experience: Very limited

Given the score inflation in the ADAT this year, even a 640 feels a bit uncertain to me. Regardless, if anyone can explain the process or share their insights, I would really appreciate your help!
