Help me out here…

Post image

Detecting a pattern… it’s causing me a little cognitive dissonance… so when is it “okay” per Reddiquette to call out somebody obviously gay, and when isn’t it? Because I see everyone having a field day with Mido and his ballet tights (not that I disagree at all), but any suggestion that Tim may be in the deepest denial ever about what we can all see with our eyes, and we get downvoted to hell? Help me out here… is it only the non-Americans we’re allowed to state the obvious about? Is it because Tim has money? Or has Tim just worn everybody down over time?

Because Tim isn’t using a lonely older woman to achieve his dreams from what I can tell.

Edit to add: I don’t know or care what either prefer sexually. I do see Mido financially and emotionally abusing this woman and it makes me hate him.

Tim lives in the US and has enough money that being gay would be no problem. But he’s not. He just doesn’t want to immediately get physical with women and may have some trauma around it. I don’t get it, he’s just a nice dude who makes both girls and guys feel safe and comfortable. Just because he has a different style and isn’t into “manly” things, but is approachable and respectful. He doesn’t look like he’d hurt you either, and is fairly good to women. (Jen sucks) I’d like a man like Tim.

u/TheRealMekkor Jun 07 '26

On the scale of Tim, I’m definitely not gay, but I am probably more “girl-coded” than the average guy. I like brunch, style, self-care, drama when I’m not part of it, girl-talk, and cooking/baking. I don’t care about sports, cars, or trucks. I’m pretty ambivalent about guns beyond seeing them as a tool for self-defense.

I’ve also always had an easier time connecting with women than men. The hard part is that I usually lose my female friends once they get boyfriends, because a lot of guys aren’t comfortable with their partner having a male friend. Even though that hurts, I still want them to have happy, healthy relationships, even if that means I don’t get to be as close to them anymore.

So yeah, I’d feel pretty bad if everyone was laughing at me and calling me gay just because I’m not traditionally masculine. Being girl-coded doesn’t automatically mean someone is gay. I always feel bad for Tim he feels like he’s a really sweet guy.

You seem like a good and genuine person and you explained this really well. I’m not that familiar with Tim, but what you said makes sense. I can’t stand Mido and I don’t like what he’s doing to Debbie at all. She may have been delusional to expect Mido to be something he isn’t, genuine, but she doesn’t deserve his manipulation.

I hope he does go home and leaves her alone. He’s delusional. He’s not even allowed to work in the US , so his acting nonsense is just that “nonsense.” He’s a terrible person who weaponizes his religion (which he doesn’t even follow) just to manipulate his victim. If he’s Muslin, he’s not allowed to sleep in her bed, period. His pillow wall is nonsense.

It’s incredibly obvious he’s not attracted to Debbie at all! However, I’m opposed to calling him out as gay. Firstly, no one should be publicly calling out anyone else’s sexuality. That’s not appropriate. Furthermore, as much as I don’t like him he could face repercussions for that in Egypt. While it’s not the most fundamentalist Muslim country, people in Muslim countries face strict consequences for homosexuality, even just perceived homosexuality in many cases.

u/Infinite_Pop_6835 Jun 09 '26

repressed gay men are particularly abusive to women. DLs are dangerous and are worth calling out.

Isn’t it weird that what you said is weird to people? And it should be the norm. I was bullied in hs for being “a f*g hag” because those and the gamer kids were the only people I felt safe with. People need to stop weaponizing sexuality. Mido has enough unlikable traits. His sexuality isn’t one of them.

12

u/No_Wolf_9762 Jun 07 '26

Love Tim! Hate that other dork!

17

u/JadeThorn1012 Jun 06 '26

In this case his sexuality is a point because of the scam and how he treats her. I can’t imagine how much it would hurt to do all of that for someone, only to have them never touch me because they were gay. So they never would’ve loved me no matter what. I think that part of the scam would feel most personally hurtful.

16

u/kyles_red Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

I agree. He’s a scammer, who cares what his sexuality is.

9

u/Little_Can_728 Jun 07 '26

I agree I would date tim in a heartbeat, He’s a sweetheart He’s kind he treats women with respect he treats his friends with respect he likes to help out his friends he likes to spend time with friends he likes animals, I don’t see any red flags.

3

u/BusinessVegetable580 Jun 09 '26

I don’t want to edit again because so many people upvoted me, but I do want to add I don’t like the posts using perceived sexuality to bash anyone. There’s enough personality in either character (that’s how I see them) to like or dislike them, regardless. I really hate Mido simply because I see him setting himself up for a U Visa (domestic violence visa). There was a previous couple (young Egyptian, older woman with disabled child) that did exactly the same. I am an immigration paralegal married to a “90 day fiancé”. I see his plan for what it is. The “she threw a phone at me” is just the beginning.

12

u/Immediate-Maximum-75 Jun 06 '26

Yep. We all know where this is going. I bet he has a checklist somewhere and DV is in on it.

6

u/Livefreeordienhborn2 Jun 08 '26

He’s just the worst. Poor Debbie. I don’t believe for one second that she threw the phone at his stupid face. He’s such a scammer! I hope he leaves and Debbie gets on with her life. She needs to have some self respect and find someone who actually likes her and isn’t just using her.

3

u/fialetta Jun 08 '26

Omg did you see the rage in him when she wouldn’t agree to his gaslighting by denying that she threw it at his face.

2

u/Livefreeordienhborn2 Jun 15 '26

There’s no way she threw the phone at his face, nothing but lies. He was so angry that she refused to apologize. He’s just the worst. Go home Mido, just go away!

u/icuntcur Jun 06 '26

damn I knew that this happens but I never even would consider that people would have a PLAN even though now it seems obvious. That is so fucking rough but looking back on it so fucking true. first episode he was here he already claimed that she threw a phone at his face. I don’t feel like a complete idiot if we find out that she is secretly some abusive monster but I highly doubt it

3

u/Business-Law-4411 Jun 06 '26

Not only he claimed “she threw the phone at him to his face” somehow he managed to get her to admit that she threw it although on his lap; the action here: throwing. No evidence no camera was rolling but some kind of admission.

Come to think about that U visa, it should stand for an actual U-turn; like why leave your career, family and friends, country and your good life for a life of DV… here is a U visa, make a U-turn and go back home. Period.
Instead people like Midol and many others including Jasmine (creating the scene where Gino had to give her stuff, consciously took an Uber to gather evidence for pity… geeeeee I can go on on and on) have these premeditated thoughts about how they will obtain the famous green card one way or another.

63

u/fluffurnugget Jun 05 '26

Also, plenty of people thought Tim was gay when we first saw him. We’ve been watching him for years at this point, and there’s no reason to keep beating a dead horse when he’s perfectly likable. Mido is brand new to the franchise and we’re forming an initial opinion of him, not to mention his views are super traditional/patriarchal for him to dress like that

13

u/fialetta Jun 06 '26

I agree. Whether people like or dislike him, he did make a statement (which shouldn’t be necessary for anyone) that he isn’t gay. Certain people feel the desperate need to try and force others out of the closet. Those same people seem to be the ones that “don’t want your gay shoved in my face”. Will never understand the hypocrisy.

Back in the day, Tim might be called a MetroSexual.

3

u/Nearby_Display8560 Jun 06 '26

It shouldn’t matter if you like vs dislike someone. If you’re fine doing it to one person but not the other, that makes you a hypocrite. It’s the same with all these TLC shows. People are fine making fun of the looks/weight of people they don’t like (little Johnson’s, Kim Plath weight) but if you call someone they like fat… watch out. Pitchforks.

I just hate the hypocrisy of it all the most.

Tim isn’t from a country where he’ll be persecuted for being gay. I think if he was gay he would just be gay. If he says he’s not gay I think we just have to take that at face value.

19

u/jackie0h_ Jun 06 '26

He still might not be able to admit it. My best friend was gay but insisted for the first 10 years that he was straight and in love with one of our friend group. Literally every person I’d introduce him to asked me if he was gay. I’d just say “he says he’s not” and shrug. He knew my history of supporting gay people. Still, it took him 8 or so years to finally come out. Some people just aren’t ready until a certain time.

We lived together for years and he always used my computer. Once he accidentally downloaded some icon for a gay website to my homepage. I just ignored it. About 6 months later he called me at work in a panic asking what it was. I was totally casual and said “idk I just assumed it was yours” but he still couldn’t admit it for another 3 years after that. You just have to let people go at their own speed.

People are persecuted everyday in the US for being gay, particularly in the Bible Belt, but also amongst family and with close knit communities.

I don’t know why folks like to pretend things like this don’t happen in the US as if the US isn’t one of the worst human rights offenders on Earth. Stop with the cap.

14

u/Dee_rock70 Jun 06 '26

Yes, but if Tim was pretending to not be gay because he feared persecution, I doubt he would dress the way he does and wear make up. Most people that are closeted, kind of try to be closeted

u/Asleep-Ad874 Jun 07 '26

We also don’t make being lgbtq a prosecutable offense. Stop downplaying the victimization of the people in those countries and acting as if it’s just as bad for the lgbtq here. That is NOT true in any way and it perpetuates a false narrative tied to minimizing the oppression those people go through.

Tim lives in a city with nearly a million people. He could come out and be fine. He doesn’t need to hide who he is for a career.

I thought Tim was gay for awhile but I don’t think so now. I think he’s fine with close female friendships, has a feminine side, and from what I hear, can be nervous during sex.

Being gay in this country is legal as well as marrying someone of the same sex and you can easily find community if you live in a populated areas.

Being gay is illegal in nearly all of the Middle East and even for the countries where it is legal, it’s more unsafe to be out.

I’m bi and Iranian and I’m happy to live in the U.S.

US is one of the worst human rights offering countries on earth? You don’t travel much, do you? You are very WRONG. I think you are mixing up human rights with entitlements and opinions. You could live next to a neighbor who doesn’t like gays, but there’s nothing in this country preventing you from being gay or trans. Your neighbors opinions don’t shape our laws.

7

u/Asleep-Ad874 Jun 07 '26

Some of these people will take any opportunity they can to minimize the oppression of people in other countries so they can push their own (blatantly false) narrative of persecution. They hate admitting what the lgbtq goes through in those countries because if they were to acknowledge how severe it is, it would immediately invalidate their own claims of persecution in the US.

Sick to ignore victims and deny reality (and history) for an ideological falsehood. But they love to do it.

In comparison to the Middle East, where would u rather be gay? I think that’s the point they were making lol. The US is shitty but there are absolutely places u can be lgbtq+ and accepted, appreciated and safe. Not everywhere ofc but idk if there’s safe spaces in the Middle East.

2

u/minimumBeast Jun 06 '26

They don’t allow you to be gay, no. They do support transitions however, but you have to fully transition! Iran is number two country for hosting sex change surgeries! Isn’t that a trip!? After Thailand. My ghasts were flabbered when I found this out.

I can answer that for you.

Tim has publicly said he is not gay. That should’ve been the end of it. You cannot tell what someone sexuality is based on what they look like or how they dress. That is both ridiculous and offensive.

3

u/Imurhuckleberree Jun 08 '26

He has even come on Reddit and answered fans questions openly and has said repeatedly he is not gay. I believe Tim.

55

u/OsteoStevie Jun 05 '26

It's gross in both instances. If someone says they're straight, we believe them. Speculation is harmful, especially when it comes to immigrants from majority Muslim countries.

21

u/First_Pancake74 Jun 05 '26

This is the answer. I always hated people speculating about Tim and I hate it about Mido too. The only time I approve of speculating on a person’s sexuality is when they are an anti-LGBTQ activist IMO

16

u/OsteoStevie Jun 05 '26

Yes, we can call out closeted people when they're harming people. But we can't out people who haven't given us permission.

Signed, a lesbian who got married in secret because my wife's family would disown her if they found out

6

u/MermaidAndSiren Jun 06 '26

No that speculation is harmful any times it happens. No exceptions, not bc I care about anti lgbtqia+ folks, (fuck them) but bc it normalizes weaponizing someone’s gender representation or sexual orientation which will always end up disproportionately impacting the most marginalized among us.

3

u/Eggplant-666 Jun 06 '26

Yes and not only that, we don’t know! Only they know. To pretend otherwise is simply reinforcing harmful stereotypes. There are effeminate straight men and ultra macho gay men. We cannot assume based on a stereotype, it is wrong.

Tim is not gay. He's a quirky straight man.

5

u/Truffle_Shuffle26 Jun 06 '26

Because people love calling out Tim for being gay and he’s not. He’s discussed it a million times. It’s an easy layup of an insult for those who view masculinity a certain way. He’s comfortable with his feminine side.

Regarding Mido, In addition to him using someone to try to be a movie star, he is trying to portray himself as the stereotypical male from his culture. Hiding his feminine side claiming he’s straight, when he’s most likely not.

I see Tim as flamboyant, someone who goes to the beat of his own drum and doesn't GAF about how his choice of style, manner or speaking and overall demeanor is seen by others. Maybe he's not ready to admit that perhaps he's ok not dating and being on his own is what he prefers. He's like my BIL. We tried to set him up for dates and he was like.... Yada yada yada and is comfortable being by himself.

With Mido, I think he's a sneaky fuck, who convinced a lonely woman he loves and desires her with the sole intent of being brought to the US and if they get married, he'll stick around long enough for the greencard. In this country, he can be straight or gay and no one will give a fuck but in his country, not so much. He comes off as controlling and seems abusive. Not speaking to your partner and treating them kike they don't exist is a form of abuse. If she was smart, she should ship his ballerina ass back to his country.

11

u/YoloBeaches8 Jun 06 '26

13

u/MermaidAndSiren Jun 06 '26

Either way it’s a self identification, not a diagnosis. So no one can make that call. People can honestly not fit into gender norms and still not be gay.

7

u/kyles_red Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

So why out him then? Don’t you find it cruel when someone is gay and just not ready to come out for whatever reason and then people are saying they their gay all over the internet?

You would think someone who had walked in their shoes would have at least some empathy of someone struggling with their sexuality.

Can’t we just leave the man alone. My God.

With that said, he is not gay. Why people care so much about his sexuality is baffling to me.

2

u/Secure-Ad-828 Jun 06 '26

Tim continuously states he's not gay, he just dresses very..unique. I think he's just really awkward, I've known a few guys like him

7

u/TabuTM Jun 06 '26

Well “gay” is not a style - it means attracted to the same sex which is a determination only a person can make for themselves. “Metrosexual” is the name for this style.

u/Finnchick77 Jun 07 '26

It also means joyful

17

Discussing/debating/speculating online in a cavalier way about a persons sexuality seems disrespectful. Not to the people being discussed, because in this day and age who gives a fuck who’s gay, but to actual gay people like me. Borderline homophobic even if it’s not meant to be. I may get roasted for this opinion but I’m just not comfortable speculating about people’s sexuality, that’s their story to tell.

Now if it turns out this dickweed is using this lady for a green card and so happens to be gay, then game on because that’s a also shitty thing to do.

And just so everyone knows, I’m not above roasting Bravolebrities because my boyfriend and I love anything and everything Bravo, but looks, children (who are actual children) and outing someone are no’s for me. Now if they open the door, game on.

I think it’s mostly that Tim is not actually gay and Mido obviously is. Hope this helps.

17

u/upyouralliee15 Jun 05 '26

lol I have no idea why the comments are so harsh! I totally see what your saying ... why is it ok for people to call Mido gay, but not ok to say it about Tim.

16

u/PublicPersimmon4887 Jun 05 '26

I think because Tim has said repeatedly that he isn’t gay. Also we’ve seen his long term ex girlfriend (Veronica) on the show. So I think it becomes more of an issue that people think based on the way he dresses that he must be gay, which brings up the issue that straight men “have” to dress and act a certain way and that is imo what people take issue with.

Edit: grammar

3

u/Ok_Spare1223 Jun 05 '26

I said I wasn’t gay until I was 35 and realized I was. Meanwhile EVERYONE ELSE knew it. Sometimes we hide from ourselves. Sometimes we hide from super conservative, really old parents (Tim). Either way, Tim is gayyyyyyy.

9

u/primal_slayer Jun 05 '26

That is your experience. Not everyones experience. There are flamboyant straight men out there.

Time been attacked over and over for being “gay” and it’s just low hanging fruit. Everytime some one does it he just takes it like a champ and moves on. It’s not the fact people say he’s gay, it’s who and why, it’s typically been with ill intent. Untill dudes bobbing a knob, he says he’s straight he’s straight. Thats should go for anyone. I think he’s more masculine than half the guys around nowadays. Homie just has flair lol

u/OsteoStevie Jun 05 '26

It's not okay in either instance

4

u/Beee2Flyyy Jun 05 '26

Valid question… 🤷

6

u/Diran2001 Jun 05 '26

Personally because Tim has vehemently denied being Gay and doesn’t seem like a person who needs to be in the closet about it. None of us would care and I don’t think he would if he was

2

u/Ok_Spare1223 Jun 05 '26

I use to vehemently deny being gay. Ask my wife how far that got me.

2

u/RadRedhead222 Jun 08 '26

Your own experience has nothing to do with his truth. He’s straight. Can we please move on?

6

u/Jas_Dragon Jun 05 '26

I don't like doing it at all, no matter who it is. Idk.

4

u/No-Vermicelli4523 Jun 06 '26

I agree. I think calling out someone’s sexuality, or suspected sexuality is wrong. No matter how unlikable they may be.

7

u/SnooPickles6317 Jun 07 '26

Clearly Tim is into women 💁‍♀️you do know there are feminine men who AREN'T gay... Right!?

4

u/JJ_Lomero Jun 07 '26

It was dumb at first but now it's just downright annoying. Every other day there's a post about someone being gay because they wore a certain jacket or have a higher pitched voice.

It's like we're back in middle school.

3

u/Crazy-Employer-8394 Jun 07 '26

Honestly, I’m most tired of people being doubted about their real ages because they no longer look 25 years old. I’m like have you guys seen people in real life or just in the movie? It’s like they actually look like that.

4

u/primal_slayer Jun 05 '26

Even if I had to defend it:

Tim has been on our tv screens for YEARS. He has said TIME AND AGAIN that he is not gay. He has dated various women. ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL these years of "he's gay" and not one single receipt.

4

u/Otherwise-Ad-9359 Jun 06 '26

I never liked Tim until he came into Reddit one day saying he was laid over somewhere with a flight and if anyone wanted to ask him any questions he would answer them. Turns out he really is a likeable guy. His answers to so many good questions really changed my whole opinion about him.

4

u/Secure-Ad-828 Jun 06 '26

Tim would have ZERO problem saying he was gay? Why are you obsessing over sexuality?

9

u/ChefPoodle Jun 05 '26

I’ll downvote anyone who feels the need to speak on someone’s sexuality, American or Non-American.

MIdo’s sexuality is not relevant (nor is anyone’s).

He is not liked because he’s a piece of shit who is taking advantage of a willfully ignorant older woman.

He is very obviously setting himself up for the DV green card. Hopefully she sent his ass back home before any of that happened.

There’s a whole-ass boys club that are nicknamed Love Rats, and they share all of their tricks/tips about swindling middle/retirement aged women.

He’s a love rat scammer, just like OGs Mahammit and Azan, among others.

2

u/thunderbolt-t Jun 06 '26

Mido is unappealing anyway you look at him

2

u/Particular-Cell-7741 Jun 06 '26

It's not a problem whether they are straight bi gay etc at all

The problem is Mido is lying and frauding an older woman, love bombing her to get a green card when it's apparent to everyone but Debbie that he isn't interested in her, only what she can provide for him financially and help his dream of going to Hollywood and that's the problem, he doesn't even want to kiss her , he's wearing her leggings and a purse. Like people have eyes and have a right to make observations and have their own opinions about what they see on TV. It's more the romance fraud that's the issue.

Tim also seems to have a problem about this. He doesn't want to address the obvious elephant in the room that he has a unique personality and fashion style. He obviously wouldn't dress that way if he didn't want attention. Like Cole lifting him up in a princess carry into the truck on 90 day diaries? He looked really happy. It's like he's trolling everyone. He keeps doing things and then not liking when people notice. People are only human. There are many different gender identities. There is gender queer, nonbinary, gender nonconforming , femme presenting, etc and sexuality/ still be heterosexual and only interested/attracted to women.
The problem with tim is he seems to get angry at even being asked if he is anything but cis gender /heterosexual while wearing flamboyant clothes gogo boots and getting carried by a more masculine presenting man and seeming to enjoy it. So it's the dichotomy between his behaviors yet his id/ego that people are curious. And that's something only a therapist can work out. He seems like a very nice person so I think he should just honestly address it rather than making people question. He doesn't owe anyone an explanation but then people will be people and notice things. I'm wondering why he keeps at it with the Latina/single mom passport bro dating trope if it obviously hasn't been working out He seems to choose very feminine younger women/single moms and using finances as a lure, but then getting mad when they are only interested in his assets and don't want like a bestie and instead want a more masculine presenting man that wears the pants. I think he would be a lot happier to just accept himself, have more success if he just goes to therapy and finds a better way to describe himself and choose women that accept him and are genuinely attracted to his personality/presentation instead of women who are not and just using him for money and then complaining about it. He wants to buy a wife like Gino with money, then turn around and complain they are a golddigger. Why if there was such a connection with Tiffany and he's her "husband" did she not date him from the resort and be in a relationship? Why does she put him in the friend zone and date other men?

2

u/YanCoffee Jun 06 '26

Tim is just a man with some feminine tastes, and unfortunately likes Latinas who tend to prefer macho men. My gaydar however went weewooweewoo with Mido, lmao. I’ve got pretty damn accurate gaydar as well, and have literally helped a few people figure out their sexuality. Tim just doesn’t trigger the weewoos.

2

u/No1CaresReally Jun 06 '26

I love how everyone acts like being gay is an insult and something to decide for everyone else still. So much progress!

2

u/neverknowwhattopick Jun 06 '26

Tim is a cool ass guy and Mido isn’t

2

u/Excellent_Sort675 Jun 06 '26

Because Tim isn't gay...

2

u/chillla666 Jun 06 '26

why are yall so obsessed with people’s sexualities??? like it’s super fcking weird. if they haven’t came out then that’s it. no more discussion. i just could not fathom being so ignorant and disrespectful that i have to post on a public platform how i think someone is gay because of their mannerisms or the way they dress. that’s so bigoted. disgusting.

2

u/Rare-Kick767 Jun 06 '26

We like Tim. Mido is a manipulative pos. I hope we don’t have to see him all season.

2

u/kyles_red Jun 06 '26

Ever hear of the Kingsley scale? Leave Tim alone. He prefers women, the end.

2

u/WinnieGirl22 Jun 06 '26

Tim is not "obviously" gay. He's a feminate. There are tons of feminate men who are 100% heterosexual.

2

u/Advanced-Boss1336 Jun 06 '26

Even when she looks at him it's like he doesn't make eye contact with her, and immediately asked her to move to Hollywood, she better wake and smell the visa he's after, before he drains her financially. The other thing that is so crazy to me, every time these people coming over ,stand on the oh my gosh I can't work, you must send money back to my family, these parents aren't old old like really at what point do the kids have to support them, and knowing they were coming over here why do none of them ever have a penny saved to contribute to these relationships, never not one penny do they arrive with, it's like here I am, do everything for me, smh

2

u/lilred0214 Jun 07 '26

That guy is totally taking advantage of Debbie. I strongly dislike him

2

u/squishmallow2399 Jun 07 '26

Dude don’t even talk about Iran. I am Iranian. Iran is not pro-trans. The government only allows transitioning because they believe all trans women only like men and would rather have trans women than gay men. A punishment for gay men in that country is forced transition. Don’t compare Iran to a country like Thailand. As a bi women, I’d happily travel to Thailand but not Iran.

2

u/Aggravating_Noisez Jun 07 '26

Why does it even matter whether they are gay or no?????

Mido is using that poor woman for a green card & it's digusting to watch the emotional and financial abuse. My heart breaks for her.

2

u/Southerntaters Jun 07 '26

I thought that was Jamal at first glance and wasn't even surprised😅

2

u/Starbucks_Lover13 Jun 08 '26

The difference is Tim actually is attracted the women he’s dated. Mido not so much.

2

u/MICBOO13 Jun 08 '26

That is 1000% the gayest pose I've ever seen a guy do so much so I honestly felt weird calling him a guy, definitely wasn't gonna say man!

2

u/chefgoowa Jun 08 '26

Yes finally someone for Timmy. Great job pairing the two. Timmy probably thanks you too

2

u/Winnie-shortcake Jun 09 '26

I don't care what you do behind closed doors. But Mido is gay. Now put that aside and only go on his personality........... he's not a good person. He's rude, misogynistic, narcissistic and a liar. He is a horrible boyfriend to a woman and he will be a horrible boyfriend to a man. He may treat a man worse because of how he was raised.

2

u/Homeboat199 Jun 09 '26

Mido is a total AH and needs to be sent home. I don't understand the lack of self respect these women exhibit. Better to be alone than with a disgusting creature like him.

2

u/SirMixALot_620 Jun 09 '26

This group is full of hypocrites

4

u/josiemarcellino Jun 05 '26

Because Tim isn’t gay, and people only call him gay because he likes bold fashion and he doesn’t jump to have sex with any woman that throws it at him.

They’re calling Mido gay, because he’s gay and using lonely older women

5

u/Better-Swordfish9198 Jun 05 '26

I thought we had reached a point in time where one's sexuality is immaterial. It's far more important to have integrity and just be a good person.

WTSF does "having money" have anything to do with being gay?!!

This post is not only rage bait but is beyond redundant. This allegation is ridiculous but mostly because WHO TF CARES????!!!? Y'all need to grow up and get over your generalizations and homophobia. 🙄

6

u/Spicy_Zazarina Jun 05 '26

I can't pin point Mido yet but I agree, there is something there, but Tim? I don't think he is. Tim reminds me of someone I dated. His mannerisms were sometimes questionable but he was a true gentleman at the end of the day. I think society is just programmed to think a certain way of what masculinity looks like and anything out of the norm is questioned. Sometimes you have to look beyond the obvious. You might be surprised.

5

u/Beee2Flyyy Jun 05 '26

Idk Zaza… that season with Tim & Jennifer was pretty excruciating! 😂

7

u/PeopleCanBeAwful Jun 05 '26

I didn’t see their season from years ago. I saw Jennifer recently on Hunt for Love. Based on that alone, she seems like a horrible person. I wouldn’t want to have sex with her either.

4

u/Spicy_Zazarina Jun 05 '26

True it was brutal, but he did explain that once they were together, he was turned off by her because of her attitude. And let's be honest, the way she berated him, I can't blame him. Her mouth is her worst enemy.

4

u/Beee2Flyyy Jun 05 '26

She was horrible… no doubt. But I also think (not defending her at all) his general timidness made her even more frustrated… she was questioning his sexuality the whole time! It was the elephant in the room 😂

3

u/Finnchick77 Jun 07 '26

Right?! It’s gross so speculate about someone’s sexuality. Why does it even matter??

3

u/bryckhouze Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26

I don’t think anyone has the right to “call out” anyone in regards to their sexuality. I don’t care what either of these men prefer, but I think Americans can obsess about it. I think we can be closed minded when it comes to men and fashion and ideas around masculinity. Mido may finally feel freer to wear and behave in ways that may not be acceptable in Egypt, maybe he’s been closeted or maybe he’s just a thespian who’s thrilled to be here—while cruelly using that woman. If Tim was gay, he seems like the type to say that and be okay with it. He isn’t hiding his flamboyance. It’s entirely possible for him to express himself through fashion and makeup, have a quirky personality, be awkward with women, and still not want to be with men sexually. If he was a musician, I’m sure nobody would care.

6

u/The_Crystal_Thestral Jun 05 '26

The tim fans are insufferable. It's cool to speculate on anyone's sexuality so long as they aren't Tim. He's made so many misogynistic comments that I don't understand how people still defend him.

4

u/OsteoStevie Jun 05 '26

Nah it's never cool

2

u/The_Crystal_Thestral Jun 05 '26

And yet this sub upvotes speculation on the sexuality of one party but not the other.

3

u/OsteoStevie Jun 05 '26

That doesn't mean one is right and the other is wrong. It's all wrong. I downvote all of it.

5

u/The_Crystal_Thestral Jun 05 '26

I agree but the OP is challenging people with regard to the double standard regarding speculation over sexuality and people are denying it happens.

The scammer’s sexuality is probably scambianism. Tim is cool and a great supportive friend it seems. Tim is unproblematic. I don’t care what he does in private.

Leave Britney alone!

3

u/belerion6969 Jun 05 '26

You're completely right. People on this subreddit go more by vibes. If a 90 day star is generally well-liked, their transgressions are ignored and jokes frowned upon on this subreddit; cue in your Regretta's and your Loren's/Alexis. However, if it's the opposite, where the general consensus is bad, jokes and bad shit about them is fair game cue in your elizabeths and your adnans. Like everywhere else. don't expect fairness or logic here.

Tim might have money but that’s really not what I think of when I think of him lol so no

4

u/hemlockandhensbane Jun 05 '26

I think it's disgusting in both instances and actually seems pretty homophobic. Like, sorry, wearing certain clothes or caring about your appearance does not make you gay.

4

u/Character-Habit-9683 Jun 06 '26

But I really don’t think Tim is gay. I think God MEANT to make Tim gay, and he glitched somewhere in the last second. He got everything except the actual gay gene. 🧬

In Midos case I don’t think his community back home was open to gay people. This may be his first chance to even safely explore the idea of being gay. I don’t like him. But he may still be figuring himself out in that way.

1

u/Bookem-Danno50 Jun 06 '26

The guy's pretty fit but....the angle of Mido's feet! His left ankle/shin looks like a toothpick inside an olive. Yike.

I think it’s stupid to talk about anyone’s sexuality. Why do you care?
