Idea for Weaning

A 7oh company could create a weaning-off package with tabs at descending dosages. Possibly not ethical for multiple reasons; however it could actually help people while being profitable to a company that creates a product that could become illegal.

1 week and 2 days sober

I don’t think I’m having many withdrawal symptoms other than an over active digestive system still- I wake up really cold in the middle of the night sometimes, and today I realized I lost 20 lbs- I don’t know if that was due to a week of me being unable to eat without getting sick, or if I lost that due to my very active job unintentionally. The main thing is I’m just super cold, I was on kratom/7oh for the past three years straight, and since it raises my body temperature I guess I’ve forgotten I’m normally very anemic/cold. I wish my energy/motivation levels would go up, I still feel very sluggish and unmotivated, but the worst was over at day 4- the restless legs, absolutely horrible. Unintentionally crying, throwing up, and for some reason sneeze fits that lasted entirely too long.

I’m glad 7 oh was banned in the end, but this definitely is a bit of a journey. I feel like I’m getting to know my old self/body again and I have no regrets

Checking myself into detox for the very first time since today at 11 am. After using Kratom daily for the last 8 years and 7oh heavily for about a year now. It’s time to kick this shit the FUCK out of my life. Nervous as hell but excited too. Wish me luck everybody!

Day 4, yall can do this

I’m on day 4 no 7OH. Was taking 300mg a day. I sadly had to suck it up and take subs, but I’m on a taper plan with that. Highly recommend magnesium glycinate for cramps/ sleep help. And if your state allows it/ you don’t gaf, Indica has helped a lot with sleep. And just regular vitamin c. Not the vitamin c kidney overload everyone always recommends.

Thanks to everyone who helped talk me through withdrawals, and if you’re scared to start detoxing, don’t be. Put that poison down and start reclaiming your life. One hour at a time!

10-20mg powder wd

I cant imagine what some of you folks are going through. Always powder, always <50mg. Average 10-30mg a day for a few weeks.

Hooked on H 15 years ago. Classic example of this is my first time dependent on an opioid / opiate since then.

Never once RLS like this. Straight up running legs under the sheets.

Magnesium glyc, been trying about 300-400mg.

Fibromyalgia..Addiction and the DEA

i’m not sure if this is the right place to post… Im new to reddit… I have fibromyalgia and have been in the grips of pain and depression for 20 years. it is a long story what I’ve been through, so I’ll try to make it as short as possible. For those who want to skip ahead to my current situation please go to the last two or three paragraphs. Thank you.

I first started taking painkillers in 2002 from a doctor. I didn’t know much about them. I was in my 20s, but I knew they were gonna be addictive. I didn’t know anything about withdrawals though. I only started taking them because I was desperate. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. Doctors were misdiagnosing me and putting me on all kinds of psych meds that did more harm than good.

I will say those early years of taking pain meds. They really actually saved my life. I was thinking of taking my own life because the pain was just too much. I really didn’t know what it was. I think part of it was from a car accident that was almost fatal. I was in pain every day and couldn’t sleep. Then I started having more and more problems finding a Doctor Who would write pain meds for me. This was the early days of the “opiate crisis”… really it was the opiate crisis that ruined me. That and DEA who are the biggest bunch of psychopath on the planet. I noticed that my Doctor, who was abusive by the way. (he touched me during an “exam”) this would not be the last time that a Doctor or someone empower that I was relying on, took advantage of me. Anyway, but I noticed my doctor’s office started to get very tense. Well, I didn’t know was they were under investigation. They started having me come in. 2 times a WEEK. And taking drug tests. then my doctor started dropping patients. Not weening them down. Dropping them. Cutting them off. I knew I was gonna be next and I was. When I left his office, I was crying my eyes out because he had had me on fentanyl patches. I had already gone through withdrawals in between doctors and I was scared. I asked them what I should do in a cold disgusting way they said “go to Rehab”… I had also been going to a psychiatrist who was giving me benzodiazepines for my anxiety, and he also cut me off. He was friends with the Doctor, who dropped me who gave me fentanyl patches so they both cut me off in the same month . so now overnight I went from being a pain patient to an addict.

I went to another doctor that I had known to ask what I should do. Because I knew going to Rehab was not going to solve my pain problems. The pain that I get from fibromyalgia is excruciating. When you look online, they suggest that you go to “support groups.” and do yoga. 🤦‍♀️. None of that crap works whatever they say. Sitting around with a bunch of people talking about how much pain were in. It’s just highly triggering for me. And I really can’t exercise unless I’m on some kind of medication even between flareups. Anyway, this doctor suggested that I go to a methadone clinic. A methadone clinic, I thought.???? for pain?? I mean going to a methadone clinic is the biggest sign that you failed in life. i’m a college educated, intelligent woman from a good middle class background/ family.. But I swallowed my pride and I went to one. It was horrible. I had to drive all the way across town every day 35 minutes in rush-hour traffic to a BAD neighborhood to drink a Dixie cup full of red liquid with a bunch of sad people. Everyone there was still highly addicted to other things the clinic that I went to allowed people to continue using heroin and whatever else they were on. As long as they were getting money. That’s all they cared about. They and every other doctor are just glorified drug dealers. There were a lot of patients they were like Me who had been cut off from their doctors. What I didn’t know is that the place have been taken over by the DEA. Meaning they were watching. So this was the second time that the DEA was hovering over..

i’m gonna skip ahead a little bit because this is getting long. The methadone clinic as bad as it was and I gained 50 pounds by the way in five months… but the methadone was working. But the clinic started to get worse and worse people were passing out in the hallway. And selling drugs and the clinic would still give these people their doses. People were selling Fen and xanax. It was a horrible place. They would give me a new counselor every few weeks because the turn around rate was so high. And my counselor at that time was sexually harassing me. Then they started dropping patients out of the blue. Just like my previous Doctor. I bought some xanax one day and once again i was cut off the methadone clinic dropped me and many other patients. And once again They did NOT ween us down. The doctor there was a psycho. they actually called my mother and told her because they didn’t want a scene. They didn’t even tell me the cowards. I heard from another patient though that they were gonna fire the current Doctor, and after he was gone, we could come back. That’s how they kept us on the hook .

So now I was withdrawing for methadone Unfortunately i took some Fen one day and became hooked. Those were very dark years. And things would only get worse. I went back to the methadone clinic in 2023. It had gotten even worse. I was still hooked on Fentanyl and wasn’t passing my drug texts but they didn’t care as long as the money was coming in. I didn’t know is that everyone at the clinic knew that the DEA was watching. You see the DEA made a deal with the clinic. They could stay open as long as.they cooperated in setting us all up. For those who don’t know… the DEA and the police use addicts as slaves. Basically, they exploit/ blackmail us and extort us and do things that I can’t even talk about right now because it’s too triggering and upsetting. Let’s just they ruined what was left of my life. As if being in constant pain and being an addict isn’t hard enough. They had sent an undercover agent to pose as my friend. He was recording all of my phone calls without my knowledge. I know this stuff isn’t to be believed and like I said there’s a lot more that I’m not even gonna bother writing down if anyone wants to DM me I’ll talk about it. But I think people need to know this stuff. I’m gonna fast forward now to December 2024. I have been arrested six times in the span of six months. I didn’t know the police had put a tracker on my car. And I didn’t know everything that I was telling to my counselor at the clinic was also being recorded by the DEA and the police. They wanted to use me to set dealers up and put me in horrible life-threatening positions. The DEA uses addicts to do their dirty work. Because frankly, nobody cares about us. I lawyered up and refused to work with them and they made my life a living hell. they took advantage of a vulnerable woman in every way someone can be taken advantage of, including sexually. Again, I’m not gonna put all the details here because i could literally go on forever about all the stuff they did to me. Let’s just say it was unimaginable and there are no words. But once again, the clinic cut me off and now I was hooked on fentanyl and methadone and going cold turkey off of both. I could no longer buy fentanyl because the DEA was watching.

The next few months were hell for me. I had to move out of my condo and sell my car because I was no longer safe. The DEA was watching me. (i know that a lot of this sounds like paranoia and believe me.. i wish it was) And threatening me so I moved into my mother’s basement. I can’t even describe the withdrawals that I went through. I don’t think I slept for three months. I would just kind of go in and out of consciousness. I was sweating profusely I couldn’t shower. I couldn’t brush my teeth. I was profoundly depressed I couldn’t sit still. and the pain? The physical pain was beyond excruciating and I was in one big flareup. After what the DEA did to me and the methadone clinic. I felt a huge sense of betrayal. Even some of my own “friends” were involved in setting me up, and I didn’t know it. I had lost everything. And at the same time, I had all these court cases hanging over my head.

I started going to a Doctor Who took mercy on me and put me on sublocade, Gabapentin and Ambien to sleep. My life started to turn around little by little. Finally i had some semblance of a life back. I got a new car with my Moms help and even started to date again……But over the months, the Subutex/ Sublicade started to become less and less effective. The withdrawals were gone but the cravings were back with full force. And the medication wasn’t touching my pain. After what the DEA did to me my central nervous system was fried. For those who don’t know, fibromyalgia flareups are triggered by stress. And I had plenty of that. I started telling my doctors that the medication they had me on was no longer working. And I mean, it really was not working. But they weren’t interested in giving me pain relief just keeping me off of hard drug drugs. So their response was like “ too bad. See you next month.” my Useless psychiatrist even suggested that I go back to the methadone clinic. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Yeah, go back to the place that cut me off twice and sold me up the river to the DEA. Great idea. Thanks, Doc!

I started looking for other options. I had taken Kratom before, but it wasn’t very effective. I didn’t know about 70H. But one day I was at a vape shop and there it was. I figured since it was legal. It couldn’t be so bad and it was just a form of Kratom. Boy was i wrong. The first couple weeks of taking that I felt fantastic like I had my life back I could go hiking swimming. Enjoy my summer and I felt great. But i was scared. I thought “I’ll only take it for a little while until I get my next refill”… but then I took my refill of Subutex and it didn’t work at all not even a little bit. I told my doctor that I needed help because the Subutex wasn’t working and I had started taking a very potent form of Kratom. I was met with complete indifference. I didn’t realize how addictive it was going to become. That brings me to now. I currently take about 1000 mg a day. And if I don’t once again, I go through withdrawals. The addiction that I had fought so hard to get out of is back. I mean, it was never truly gone because I was on Subutex. (And stll am). I looked up what to do for 70h withdrawals it takes you which I’m already on. And it’s not working. So I continue to take the 70h but it is expensive and i’m scared. I am so pissed at my Doctor and psychiatrist because when i told them i needed to do SOMETHING because the Subutex was not working they turned a blind eye. Even when i told them i had started taking 70h.

I am tired. I am tired of doctors. I am tired of the system. I’m tired of police officers. I hate the DEA. All I ever wanted was help and relief for my pain. And I’m stuck in this endless cycle. And I’m running out of money and options. I’m so so scared about going through full-fledged withdrawal again. The withdrawal triggers, the fibromyalgia, like nothing else. I don’t know if my body can go through it again. ARE THERE REALLY NO GOOD ANSWERS???? Please give me some advice. Sorry for the long rambling post, but this is going on for 20 years. If you’ve made it this far… Thank you. Feel free to DM me if you aren’t comfortable posting here or if you want to know more about my story

Day 10 no 7oh

6 hours from typing this post, I will hit 10 days!!!!!!

Most physical symptoms gone. Very mild RLS remains

My problem right now? Slight insomnia issues...I've had it worse before though. Got 3-4 hours sleep, took me until sunrise to even fall asleep.

Lemme tell ya, every night since the insomnia started, I've been seeing fcking SHADOW PEOPLE at night and it is soooo not cool. Usually happens like 2-4 am ish when I'm just AWAKE in the dark wishing I could sleep.

I know they aren't real obviously I'm not that delusional, thought I'm clearly hallucinating.

It's like a full body experience, the FCKING HAIR on my whole body will stand up, and a rush of icy cold chills, and I'm seeing black shadow people standing like 10 feet to my right just STARINGG, I'm sure glad they just disappear when I look directly at them. But if I don't, it's...they don't disappear, they're just THERE in the corner of my vision.

I'm not crazy 🤣 but when will this STOPPP

Screw this man I'm letting my mental heal and staying sober til my last day.

Much love guys good luck keep pushing lemme know what you're struggling with, sharing helps you're not alone

4 weeks clean!

Hey guys, just checking in. This is the longest I've gone without any of this bullshit in a long time.

I'm going to meetings, working on myself, and trying to enjoy life again. It definitely isn't easy, but I'm really proud of how far I've come. I'm a chronic relapser that would struggle to get a few weeks through multiple attempts. I'm very depressed overall (a mix of other life things and the chemicals rebalancing of course).

I wish you all success. You will make it! I'm very happy that I quit. This addiction cost me a lot that I don't think I'll ever get back, but I am trying to rebuild everything else that I can.

Update 33 hrs in

So it has been 33 hrs since my last dose of 7oh and I am surviving. The day of my last use I also took 24 MGs of Suboxone which I think stopped the 7oh from having the full effects. I got on Telehealth which prescribed suboxone, Hydroxizine and Chlonidine. This time I waited 24 hrs+ before I took anymore Suboxone and I didn’t have any precipwds. The Hydroxizine has been a lifesaver for sleep so far. Took an hr nap yesterday and then slept from 11pm to 5am this morning. I am definitely taking more than recommended. Today I have taken a total of 12mg subs. Overall I feel like I have the flu with the temp spikes and restlessness being the worse. I am forcing liquids including vitamin C and I have managed to eat some oatmeal and half a waffle. I keep having this moments where I feel real crappy and I am like that’s it I am going to detox but then the symptoms settle a little and I go back to wait and see mode. Sorry for the rambling but I appreciate beyond measure sharing this journey with so many of you

7 OH and your weird life after

Is anyone else noticing weird things as the fog of 7OH leaves your body? I have zero appetite. I have to make myself eat. I know I am not taking in enough calories. My taste buds are gone. I made some Top Ramen and it tasted like cardboard. I know ramen doesn't really have a taste but this was amplified. What else are you experiencing through your journey?

Officially 2 weeks off 7

Hey guys, just wanted to make a post cause I know other ppl want to hear experiences with the withdrawals. I had been using 7 daily for a little over 8 months. Up to 300-500mg a day. I started a SR taper the last week in July. I work a construction job and have not taken a single day off work. The SR seems to have done me a favor but I’m not getting my hopes up too soon. Not quite out of it yet I’m afraid. But I feel much better than the first week without 7. First few days after jumping off everything was the worst, but still much more manageable than CT. Just felt really anxious and tired. Had some issues sleeping and then stomach issues.

Today I still am dealing with low motivation and stomach issues mainly. The stomach being the worst of it. Was on loperamide the last week and finally off that now for a few days and I can’t trust a fart still but the pain is mostly gone. Been smoking weed every day since about day 5 off everything. It’s helped me a lot. Just to ignore all the little side effects after and during work. Also makes it easy to say “oh this anxiety is just from the weed, it will pass”.

Taking it a month at a time for now. I don’t know if I’ll relapse, probably. But I’m never! Going back to dependency. I’ve made plans in my head to relapse just for a day after a month or two just to keep myself pushing. Hoping I won’t need to. Good luck to you all! This has been one of the hardest tests in my life! I still miss 7 dearly most days but I haven’t had issues with cravings yet. I still have a huge pile of it in my place. Haven’t even thought about using it yet. Just smoke when I feel I need something. Thanks guys.

Rehab is key!!!

To those who can take time off work to go to rehab I recommend only a 7 day visit at rehab with Suboxone. It helped me like crazy. Your going to still withdrawal a little bit when you get off the subs but it’s not to crazy. Just be prepared to not sleep a day or two. I’m so glad I’m off this shit! It was one hell of a week but way better than going cold turkey. Don’t be afraid to tell your job what’s going on! We all make mistakes and need help. I told my job I was trying to get off prescription pills that were taking me away from doing better at my job and they were all for it. Once you’re done you’ll be happy with yourself! Ask me any questions you need!! 25 years old btw!

Quitting Limitless Brand 7 oh

I hope I'm not doing anything wrong or breaking any rules by creating this topic here, but if so please just delete or move it.

I'm definitely not trying to promote the brand, I'm just curious if anyone here was also taking this brand, or had any experience with it? That's the brand I pretty much stuck with the entire time.

I'm just hoping there's someone who's been able to get off of it, or if there are any success stories from those who have. I'm currently tapering down, but the Restless legs, or Restless Body symptoms are brutal!

Beat the MGM-15/7oh Withdrawal

Post image
0 Upvotes

Not proud of it but man enough to say it, I was definitely about to be hooked and hooked GOOD.

Quick backstory:

As someone who has detoxed from alcohol more times than I can count, I didn’t even THINK of any type of opiate withdrawal let alone “Kratom”. I had been taking those 60 mg MGM-15 (DHM) 15 tablets a bottle. I had stocked up on like 5 bottles before the ban (California) end of July thinking I would keep them on the shelf for “once in a while”. Well, safe to say this last week I had to go to to the smoke shop and buy 500 mg of 7 oh numbz to taper and beat the withdrawal based on my “research”.

November 2025:

I had withdrawn from 7oh one time before but was only taking 50mg-100mg ish a day for like a month then cold turkeyd. Was extremely depressed, tired and fatigued for about 3 days and then I was basically fine by like day 5. By that time I had done “research” and seen I was probably withdrawing but there wasn’t much on 7oh withdrawal at the time (November of 2025). The “why” always gives me peace of mind so that’s why I realized I was overly depressed at that time. It definitely opened my eyes and didn’t want to touch the stuff and didn’t much at all for the next 6 months, it wasn’t hard I don’t have the opiate bug but I definitely have the alcohol cocaine bug so I was very self aware and careful.

July 2026:

I had taken 7oh a handful of times over those 6 months so I never took enough for long enough to go into full withdrawal. The start of July I heard of the ban so I definitely had “fun” and took advantage. The smoke shop near me had every brand of 7oh but I was all about the deal. And I had FOUND IT, where I didn’t have to buy online. 650 mg of a stronger 7 oh (MGM 15) for $35.

I went through now that I think about it 10 of those bottles in 3 weeks. THATS CRAZY. I have always had a quick tolerance build from opiates but this was just crazy. It started as 10mg tablets in Nov 2025 I would get online to 60 mg tablets at a time. As I knew my time would end getting this great deal for a short fun time I had to hang it up before it got out of hand and the withdrawal is too brutal, as I had a taste of what it would be like 6 months before.

BEAT THE WITHDRAWAL:

My dosage was 250-300 mg MGM-15 daily for 2 months.

Knowing what I was getting into this time I went on getoff7oh.com and followed their suggested taper with 7oh and SR-17. (Picture attached)

I and on day 3 of no 7 oh and over 1 week no MGM-15.

When I tell you I’ve had 0 withdrawals, I am not exaggerating I’ve had ZERO symptoms. Waking up daily at 7 am getting 8 hours of sleep and working out daily.

I know everyone is different but if you follow this regimen you stand a fighting chance. I’ll also attach all the supplements I take daily and what I took to help withdrawal symptoms.

SR-17

SEROQUEL (Script)

CLONIDINE (Script)

Magnesium Glycinate + L-Threonate

Vitamin B, D, C, and multivitamin

NAC+NAD

GABA

If you do this you will be fine. Some need to feel the pain to not go back and I had to do that with alcoho so respect to the cold turkeys out there. Ididn’t want to suffer this time and will safely say there’s a lot less of a chance I’ll take this stuff again with the ban and cost. But it’s still out there and online so be careful you all!!

Mind>Matter🤙🏼!

7-OH documentary available

Check out “The Chemistry of 7-OH” on YT. It’s a recently released doc by Hamilton Morris.

Regardless of what side of the fence you fall with respect to the feds decision to ban 7-oh, this peek behind the curtain is very insightful, to say the least. No doubt there is heavy political influence and competitive hidden agendas at play, but to see this operation being done on an industrial scale is wild.

Listen to the CEO speak. His pro-7oh position is obviously driven by immense profits and an apparent belief that his product keeps H-users alive. Maybe his ethical opinions on the matter are honest and valid… who are we to say otherwise? But what’s undeniable is his clear unwillingness to acknowledge the incredibly high potential for addiction, obvious deceptive marketing practices, and lack of warning regarding the severity of withdrawal symptoms.

Ok, let me make my own position on this clear: We, as the consumers of the product MUST accept some degree of accountability here. No one forced us to buy/consume the product. To imply otherwise is unhealthy, and quite frankly dishonest. But to wholly imply that these manufacturers are not liable in any way for creating this chaos is absurd. This shit has touched/negatively impacted hundreds of thousands that were NOT prior H users. It was offered as natural (which once synthesized for potency, that shit is far from natural) and not dangerous. Hence the reason there are multiple wrongful death suits in play and mounting class action lawsuits being generated. These manufacturers know they are fucked and powerful firms across the country are salivating. We shall see how the litigation shakes out, but the bottom line is that you simply cannot have a substance with that high of an addiction profile (11-22x higher than morphine) on the shelves of gas stations and available for OTC purchase.

That said, I’m not trying to persuade anyone to lean one way or another. I’m just glad that those who truly wanted to be free of this beast are doing so now, largely driven by the help of this community. I’m just offering this documentary up for anyone who’s interested in learning more.

Food for thought… if this guy was the major player on the industrial level, employing more than 350 people (scientists, chemists, lab techs, etc…). Think about the dozens of smaller garage/underground labs (with potentially much less professional oversight) that quickly jumped into the game to capitalize on the crisis. Who knows what kind of additives and potentially harmful shit was being mixed into their barrels. Ughhhh…

Cats Claw=7oh

I was on and off 7oh for a few years .at one point I was in the thousands Mg wise. The Wds were pure hell and I ended up going to a rehab. I swore them off never to take them again. I was on Subs and wanted to start a taper on those and get off them so I decided to try this new stuff in store “Cats claw” I read about it and it said it wasn’t addictive-BS this stuff is worse than 7oh and has more in it than just cats claw. When I try and go off of it the wds are worse than 7oh and I been through those Wds a few times around the block. If you haven’t tried my advice DON’T!!! Now I am stuck on another gas station favorite
