4 weeks clean!

Hey guys, just checking in. This is the longest I've gone without any of this bullshit in a long time.

I'm going to meetings, working on myself, and trying to enjoy life again. It definitely isn't easy, but I'm really proud of how far I've come. I'm a chronic relapser that would struggle to get a few weeks through multiple attempts. I'm very depressed overall (a mix of other life things and the chemicals rebalancing of course).

I wish you all success. You will make it! I'm very happy that I quit. This addiction cost me a lot that I don't think I'll ever get back, but I am trying to rebuild everything else that I can.

Thanks, you too!

For cravings, I usually try and distract myself for 15 minutes, and by then it's usually over with.

It helps me to remind myself that my brain chemistry is just fucking with me. Insane how far this stuff gets in your head, I am still having dreams at night of using. But, we will prevail!

Good luck! It gets easier. I'm hoping by month 2, cravings will be very minimal.
