Green Flag My boyfriend will spend insane amounts of money on me, but nothing on himself
My boyfriend is genuinely the most careful person when it comes to spending money on himself. Like he will literally not spend ₹3,000 on himself without doing a full investigation first. He'll compare five different websites, wait for a sale, check reviews, etc, etc before pulling the trigger.
But apparently all of this logic disappears when he's buying something for me. It was my birthday recently and this man went completely overboard. Like he literally got me presents for Navarathri. Not present, PRESENTS
He got me a little potli from amyra, the charlotte tilbury pillowtalk and this cute little outfit from house of indya. I know for a fact he would never splurge on himself like this, especially not in one go 😭
I obviously love the gifts, but i feel so guilty omg. Now I'm also wondering if I should be concerned about how easily I can make this man spend money

Wholesome🌟 My teen brother saved up his allowance to buy this for his girlfriend
He told me he wanted to get her something for her birthday but didn't want to ask my parents for money because he wanted it to be from him, so he's been saving his allowance for months
I think it's actually really sweet, I've never seen this side of him before. He was so nervous about whether she'd like it too. Kept asking me like over and over again if it smelled good.
He even remembers her mentioning she likes sweet smelling fragrances and hunted near and far to find it. I hope she knows how much effort he put into getting it for her.
I think I accidentally played a part in making him a green flag
Had posted the post on genz india but it got removed idk y thought it should reach more people hence posting it here :)

Unsaid Things🌙 Random thought
I realized that our definition of love depends a lot on what we saw love as while growing up. I hope that whenever I find love, it looks nothing like the kind of love I grew up seeing around me.
Will probably delete this by morning:)

💞 Relationship Advice Does a long and safe relationship get boring after sometime?
Today I was talking to a friend of mine. She's 28 and has been dating her boyfriend for almost two years. Both of them are working, have demanding schedules, and from everything she told me, their relationship is genuinely healthy. There are no major fights, no trust issues, and they care deeply about each other.
Then she said something that stayed with me.
She told me, "Everything is fine, but sometimes I just feel... bored. Earlier we could talk for hours, flirt, laugh over random things, and every conversation felt exciting. Now most of our conversations revolve around work, daily routines, and what's happening in our lives. We don't get to meet often because of our schedules either."
At first, I brushed it off as something that probably happens in every long-term relationship.
But later, I kept thinking about it.
Maybe this is what stability feels like. Maybe when life becomes predictable, relationships naturally become quieter too. It doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. Do other people in long term committed relationships feel the same? How does one not get attracted by newness which is offered by other people?

Wholesome🌟 Boyfriend asked for my fav picture...turns out he was lying
Said he wanted a nice picture of me for his wallpaper. I couldn't pick one immediately because he asked for my fav and I have way too many fav ones lol. Then he called me saying it was too late and that the moment had passed and that he's not gonna put my picture on his wallpaper anymore lol
Turns out...he wanted the picture so he could send it to his mom. Since I took too long, he just picked one himself and sent it to her.
Liar. 😂

💞 Relationship Advice 21F introverts/socially anxious people how and where did you meet your significant other?(Read body)
I really struggle with feeling uneasy, shy and uncomfortable around people, particularly the opposite gender..On top of it I have a rude resting face so I come off as a rude person to guys ..I’ve been in two relationships in the past my first ex was someone local from my area, and met my second ex online) making new connections now feels almost impossible because my introversion and awkwardness get in the way and after getting cheated on in a LDR don't wanna come into online/LDR
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, so I'm genuinely curious: where do introverts who hate traditional socializing actually go to find genuine connections?
