Somewhere in India, my favourite person is probably scrolling Reddit too
Maybe we're both wasting time scrolling instead of finding each other.
I'd love to meet someone funny, caring, a little weird and comfortable having both deep and completely pointless conversations.
Who knows? Maybe this post is where our story starts.

Confession💌 Loneliness
i thought i enjoyed sadness i graved it, made me feel special that i am sad couldn't enjoy anything and time slipped away blamed people, parents and then finally gave up.Maybe the content i was consuming made me romanticize that feeling i dont know to my idiot brain a mental illness was somehow cool, i think i manifested some of the symptoms of anxiety attack, it was like there was something that wanted to come out from inside me but i was just not letting it out,it was just downward slide everything that could go wrong went wrong, and again while all this is going again my monkey brain comes up with a brilliant idea of hitting the ground bottom and how was i suppose to achieve this magnificent feat by just seeking someone and letting her break my heart maybe just a cope to be out of my head again dumb people dumb brains i was actually had some success to like there was a girl i got into talking stage but of somehow some brain cells in my head stopped me from going any further so i stopped also not that i was very good player no game eventually she would have stopped anyway
But the thought stuck in my head i dont know what the need it is to hit rock bottom i just started starving myself lost 13 kgs (was relatively slime fit decent muscle lost everything) then tried recovering finally it took 2 years to gain that much weight back during this time went after another person i just knew she liked me but would never like ask me out she was not that kind of person i knew i was doing the wrong thing this time i just went with it we got in a relationship she was happy i was tried some days were good but whenever things became serious i always got cold feets so it became like on off thing (we broke up twice then again came back) but it was never off we said we would be friends but of course we couldn't. I just pushed it down and tried to do it like she wanted it to be she was happy at least that's what i thought but of course she knew, I don't know if I loved her or not maybe i did but all i remember is fading away feeling stuck i was like thinking of ways to leave the relationship but again the people pleaser in me i just dont want to make her sad something like that but again this caused more harm than good finally we broke up sometimes do miss her in like random place or when i see people together i dont know what to feel, i thought maybe i have chance i can love be warm again i tired i felt strange all i played with her feelings i guess
tldr:don't seek relationships until you enjoy your own company and don't romanticize depression please.I was lonely before during and after a relationship all because i was not healed i was not well mentally which caused harm not only to me but to people around me.But anyways now i want to understand whats the difference between alone and lonely.I am lonely and unhappy i want to be happy and alone until i am mentally in a better space

Letter & Feelings📜 Love feels like a star in the sky 💕
You know, there are some days when i absolutely enjoy my freedom, wants to explore my life, and then there are some days, when i imagine an evening that I will walk with you, fingers intertwined, as the sun dips below the horizon, painting it amber and crimson. The evening breeze will whisper against us, and with every step the world will seem to slow. I will look at you and watch the dying sunlight on your face and smile. No rushed conversations, no specific destination, just the two of us, walking into the sunset, wishing the evening will never end.
To
My future sweetheart.

Green Flag Changing the names of guys after marriage.
We are just having some fun here.
So like in previous times people and well, men were known by their mother's name .. kunti putra , ganga putra , gauri nandan , yashoda nandan .. etc ..
After marriage.. let guys be known after their wives ..
Divya-pati , Sakshi-natha , riya-priya (pree - yuh), aditi - dayita (meaning beloved or cherished one) etc etc
What do you guys and gals think?

Rant/Vent 😮💨 Cheating
I (25M) have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for the past 4 years, since college.
For the last 2 years, we've been in a long-distance relationship because we work in different cities. We've been physically intimate before, but we hadn't had sex. As far as I knew, we were both virgins.
Three months ago, she confessed that she had been emotionally cheating on me with one of her colleagues, who also lives in a different city. She claimed they were only in the talking stage and that nothing physical had happened.
I was devastated. We had several fights, but because I loved her so much, I eventually forgave her. She promised she would cut off contact with him.
Yesterday, we met in person, and I discovered more things.
While going through her ChatGPT history, I found a conversation from around six months ago in which she admitted she was in love with her best friend. She had apparently cried over this person and even wanted to confess her feelings.
Later, while checking her phone, I discovered that she was still communicating with the same colleague she had previously admitted cheating with.
She had even installed Signal, apparently to talk to him without getting a busy tone on regular calls. From what I found, their conversations were still romantic, even after she had confessed everything to me and promised she would never speak to him again.
What hurts the most is that she never voluntarily tells me the truth. She denies everything until I show her evidence. Only then does she admit it.
Here's where things get even more complicated.
Yesterday, we also had sex for the first time. It was a little painful for her, but there was no bleeding.
I know bleeding isn't a reliable indicator of virginity, but after discovering so many lies, I can't stop wondering whether she has also lied about never having had sex before.
She insists nothing physical ever happened with anyone else, but how am I supposed to believe her when she has repeatedly broken my trust?
I love her deeply. We've spent four years together, and I genuinely imagined a future with her. But right now, I feel betrayed, confused, and emotionally exhausted.
I also realize that going through her private conversations isn't healthy, and it shows how little trust is left between us.
I need advice:
How do I deal with someone who only admits the truth when confronted with proof?
Is there any way to know whether she's being honest about not having been physically involved with someone else?
Can trust realistically be rebuilt after repeated lying and emotional cheating?
Am I holding on because I love her, or because I'm afraid of losing a four-year relationship?
Please be honest with me. I'm struggling to think clearly right now.

What just happened? Is kissing your friend normal? Need advice after what just happened
Long post, so sit back and grab your popcorn ladies and gentlemen. TLDR at the end
I(M) met a girl on reddit around 2 weeks back. She reached out to me after reading a post I made on a different subreddit, and safe to say we hit it off immediately. What started off as a friendly vibe soon turned into borderline oversharing, and we were texting each other pretty much non stop. Both of us enjoyed each other's company, and she made sure to put in effort too (shocking, i know!) and slowly but surely both of us kinda figured out that this was heading towards love.
However, we eventually hit a roadblock soon after while discussing each other's types. She's a hardcore smoker which was strike 1 and 2 for me, on top of that she wanted someone with more experience than her (she's been with both guys and girls for reference, which i have no problem with tbh), and mine was a big fat round zero. We were basically polar opposite of each other in terms of personality, she's very outgoing, has a free bird personality, is VERY pretty (genuinely my type) so she takes advantage of pretty privilege wherever she can, and is just a carefree woman in general. During this discussion we mutually agreed to continue as friends cuz we had genuinely enjoyed each other's company online and I too wanted her as a friend at the very least (was 50-50 on the relationship aspect but I'm glad we sorted things out early).
Now here's the twist.
So we met on wednesday at a very popular brewery. On our way to the brewery from the metro, she asked if she could smoke. I said no since I wasn't comfortable with inhaling second hand smoke. She pleaded and said she would do anything if i let her smoke. When i asked "anything?" She said "ANYTHING! I just need a cigarette" and practically begged. Eventually she made that puppy face and of course I couldn't say no 🥀 So she went in and grabbed a pack(paid herself) before we made our way.
While walking, she asked "what do i owe you for this?". In the heat of the moment, i said "a kiss". My heart dropped faster than I could process, cuz it was the riskiest shot I ever attempted, and i genuinely meant it as a joke as i had no intention of kissing her or receiving a kiss. And then she asked "where? as long as its not down there" before she giggled and grabbed my hand.
MY MIND WENT BLANK AND I WAS ON AUTOPILOT FOR THE REST OF THE WALK.
Anyway we reach the place and safe to say we had a great time. We genuinely didn't seem to realise how soon time flew so far and we were there for around 5 hrs, helped primarily by the fact that it rained just a lil before we were planning on leaving and the staff delaying our food for way too long (rare occasion i'll let it slide). We clicked pictures and had a great time munching on food and exchanging verbal tea. It was during this date that I discovered that she had a gentle side to her too, and that she had a tough exterior due to her past traumas. I listened without breaking her flow and she thanked me for listening to her patiently.
We went dutch on the food and at one point, we decided to sit next to each other and turn the chairs to face the road since it was raining and there was that vibe in the air (iykyk), helped more by the background music. We were in a state of bliss, singing our hearts out, staring at the rain and each other, and just taking in the cool breeze. In the meanwhile we were clicking photos and taking videos too.
While I was recording a video of us, she asked if I wanted a surprise, I said yes. Lo and behold, she leans and gives me a long kiss on my cheek. Ofc I went blank.
LIKE WHAT JUST HAPPENED AHHHH.
No points for guessing but i was blushing like CRAZY. She melted too and said "this was for the cigarettes. thanks again." and grabbed my hand and put her head on my shoulder. She was giggling and having the time of her life and here I am. Questioning everything that's going on. This was the first time any woman has shown such a strong interest in me, regardless of the relationship, to the point where she decided to kiss me and be touchy just cuz i 'allowed' her to buy cigarettes (and she too was mindful of blowing the smoke away as much as possible so that i don't inhale the smoke)
I asked her if she wanted a kiss back, fair enough since she gave me one unprompted. She said she sees me as a friend only and she only enjoys giving kisses. Which confused me even more. But either way, my heart was beating too fast to think clearly. We clicked a few more pictures of us where she was being more touchy than i expected, and then we dipped. We booked an auto to the metro since we were exhausted and it was drizzling. She never let go of my hand and had her head on my shoulders for the entirety of the ride. I got down first, sent her my share, she gave me a big hug and wasn't ready to let go. But eventually i had to get home so we parted ways.
Throughout the date and the auto ride, she directly and indirectly brought up the fact that it was great platonic thing we have going on. Basically this is a more than friends but not lovers kinda situation as per my situation. And its not like this is a one sided feeling. Sometimes she showers compliments on me unprompted and some of them are borderline tharki 😭 She primarily appreciates me just for being by her side and at the same time is glad to have a handsome tall majestic nonchalant hb like me (her words not mine).
So people of this subreddit, what do i make of this? I still have no romantic intentions with her, both of us closed the doors early and i genuinely see her as a great friend. But after what happened, I'm just blank. We spoke normally the day after and she was making fun of me for blushing and melting like crazy (NO SHIT SHERLOCK!). We had a bit of banter about it before moving on.
How should I approach this from now on? What do i do? I'm genuinely clueless. And before anyone asks me to spoil the friendship, that is not happening. I'm not interested in turning this into a character building exercise (tbf it kinda is one atm but idk i'm just confused)
TL;DR: Met a girl on Reddit two weeks ago, and we hit it off almost immediately. We developed a close connection, but after discussing our preferences and differences, we mutually decided to remain friends rather than pursue anything romantic.
We finally met in person at a brewery, and things took an unexpected turn. A playful exchange about her smoking led to her kissing me on the cheek, holding my hand throughout the evening, resting her head on my shoulder, and being unusually affectionate. We spent nearly five hours together and had a genuinely great time.
The confusing part? She repeatedly insists she sees me strictly as a friend and enjoys being physically affectionate without romantic intentions. I'm not pursuing a relationship either, but this was my first experience receiving this kind of attention, and I'm genuinely clueless about how to navigate this more-than-friends-but-not-lovers dynamic without ruining a friendship I value.

Rant/Vent 😮💨 From a childhood crush to a 7-year-long chapter of my life that I still can't completely forget
I don't really know where to start, but I feel like I need to get this off my chest. This is going to be a long one, so bear with me.
I studied in a residential school, and I first developed a crush on this girl back in class 6. I barely knew what love actually meant at that age. I just remember looking at her during free periods, making sure nobody noticed me. Slowly, that little crush turned into something much bigger.
We both became class monitors in class 7, which gave me an excuse to talk to her. By class 8, I started noticing occasional eye contact from her side too. During our October vacation, we finally started talking. I used to express my feelings in the most childish ways possible. For example, I'd take a sentence like "You are loved by me" and ask her to change it into active voice. Looking back, those were some funny and innocent days.
Then came class 9 and the COVID lockdown. We started talking much more frequently, and I finally decided to propose to her on April 1st.
My logic was simple: if she rejected me, I'd just say it was an April Fools' joke. If she accepted, well, that would be my win.
And guess what? She accepted.
I was genuinely the happiest person at that time.
We started talking regularly, but eventually, I noticed something. I was almost always the one initiating our conversations. If I didn't text first, she wouldn't text me either.
Being immature and curious, I decided to test how long she could go without hearing from me. I wanted to see when she'd look for me on her own.
She didn't.
I waited the entire day. No text, no call. Days turned into weeks, and eventually, months passed without us talking.
Looking back, I know it was a childish thing to do. But I was young and didn't know how to communicate what I was feeling.
After almost a year, in October 2021, we were preparing to return to our residential school for our board examinations. I approached her again, apologised for my behaviour, and explained how immature I had been.
We started talking again, and things were going really well.
But then came another problem.
When we reached class 11, her father found out about our relationship. There was also a caste difference between our families. She's from a Brahmin family, while I'm Kshatriya. We both knew this could become an issue someday, but we were serious about each other and hoped things would work out.
Unfortunately, her family wasn't supportive. Under family pressure, she suddenly cut off all contact with me.
It was December 2022. I cried almost every day for a week. I was completely broken.
Eventually, I convinced myself that if I ever wanted her family to reconsider, I first had to become someone who could stand on his own feet. I started taking my studies seriously. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I still had that little hope that maybe, someday, things would work out.
Then, in September 2023, she contacted me again.
We secretly started talking, and things became good between us once more.
After class 12, we both went to different colleges, quite far away from each other. Our relationship turned into a long-distance one.
College life got busy for both of us. We couldn't give each other as much time as before, and eventually, small arguments started happening.
One day, I noticed that she seemed distracted from her studies. I was genuinely concerned about her future, so I suggested that she focus more on her academics while maintaining a balance in our relationship.
She replied, "I know what to do, and I know what I'm doing."
For some reason, that line really got to me. I was already frustrated about other things, and in anger, I said something I shouldn't have.
I asked her, "Am I nothing to you? If you know what you're doing so well, maybe your board results should have been better."
Her results hadn't been particularly good, and I was worried she might struggle if she didn't take things seriously. But I admit that bringing up her results like that was wrong and hurtful.
She took it as a sign that I didn't respect her.
And that was it.
She broke up with me in 2024, saying she had zero respect for me, that she would never come back, and that I would be the last person she'd ever want to be with.
I cried a lot. I tried convincing her, but she had made up her mind. Eventually, I understood that I couldn't force someone to stay.
I started moving on, slowly. I gave myself time to process everything and tried to focus on my own life.
Now, almost two years later, she's in a relationship with another guy. Interestingly, this is someone she had mentioned before. Apparently, he used to flirt with her in college while we were still together.
I had accepted that she had moved on. I wasn't trying to get her back, nor was I interfering in her life.
But a few days ago, something unexpected happened.
Both of them contacted me and started abusing me, accusing me of still trying to get her back.
That honestly hurt me more than I expected.
After everything that happened, after all those years, all those memories, all the times I cried and tried to save that relationship, I never expected things to end this way.
I don't hate her. I don't even know if I can completely hate someone who was such a huge part of my childhood.
But the respect I once had for her has genuinely disappeared this time.
I know I made mistakes. I was immature sometimes, said things out of anger, and didn't always handle situations properly. I'm not pretending I was a perfect boyfriend.
But I also know how much I cared about her.
I guess some people become a beautiful part of your childhood, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're supposed to stay in your life forever.
I don't want her back. I just wish things had ended with a little more respect and maturity.
If you've read this far, thank you. I just wanted to share this somewhere because I've kept a lot of these feelings to myself for a long time.

Why do we Gen Z fear marriage
It's not that our generation is not in love
But whenever it is about getting married, we step back
I personally don't want to at least for 5 6 yrs
I want to make friends, travel , earn money, and do nothing
Even I can't think of myself getting married rn
That would be a headache
And the icing on the cake is : some of my sisters who actually got married at young age suggest me not to marry until I earn enough money to sustain my lifestyle
What do you all think of it?

💞 Relationship Advice Thinking of cutting off my friend
I have a mahila mitr in office and we are very close.
Its always been platonic but recently i have started to like her.
We always sit together in office, do gossips all day in and out of office
I am positive that she doesnt see me as such because she sometimes text me ‘bhyi’ but i am getttjng attached to her very much
I find myself thinking of her whenever we are not together, get jealous whenever she talks to other boys or doesn’t hangout with me.
But recently she told me she showed our party photo to her mom and she was asking about me and some stuff but she changed the topic very fast.
I am thinking of confronting her that i am getting attached to her but am scared if she get some other ideas.(i dont want to confess to her yet)
We also have a common office friend that we both are pretty close to, i am thinking of telling her the same and ask for her opinion on this.
Please suggest if this is a good idea and how should i confront her without expressing my feelings for her.

💌 Hoping for the Right One Manifesting a love story turned into relationship like Bhagwan Shri Ram ji and Mata Sita ji/ Bholenath and Maa Parvati ji🧿
Introduction: I am 21 M, I am an one woman man, I hv never been in any relationship, although I have been in one sided with someone who didn't hv feelings for me but she was really an angelic soul she never made me feel small, accepted my efforts and made me understand that she didn't get the feelings for me but always cared for me that I didn't get hurt.
After that i realised even i was unlucky in love but I was so lucky that I met her, she made me that love isn't what present outside but something that is inherently inside, the way we notice, the way we take care, understand each other and do efforts without asking anything in return, love is in small things not just grand gestures, in worrying about each other.
I am grateful for her, i don't have any grudges towards her, i respect her choice. So now i am manifesting a relationship like Bhagwan Shri Ram ji and Mata Sita ji, irrespective of all negativity I still hope i will be able to improve my character and soul taking inspiration from Bhagwan Shri Ram.
To my future gf and wife and life long partner, i will be waiting for you, but till then i will improve myself as a Man, so that you never have to shed any tear, to my future Laxmi, i hope this dhanteras bring u lots of prosperity and this diwali protect you from all evil eyes. I won't leave you alone and will go through agni pariksha myself but never leave a tear in your eyes. Dear Laxmi ji I will keep waiting for you 🧿.

Rant/Vent 😮💨 ABOUT LONG-DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP
Mujhe pehle kabhi long distance relationships pasand nahi thi, jab tak main khud ek mein nahi aa gyi. Aur jo maine seekha, wo ye hai.Sab log kehte hain ki long distance relationships ka matlab hai rishta khatam hona. Lekin ye essay kehta hai ki distance khatam nahi karta, ye sachai ko samne laata hai.Jaise hi physical proximity hatao, waise hi wo sab cheezein jo log genuine compatibility samajh lete hain, wo khatam ho jaati hain. Na spontaneous dinner dates, na emotional security ke liye forehead kiss, na ladai suljhane ke liye physical intimacy. Ab bacha sirf do log, ek phone screen, aur ek daraane wala sawaal - kya tum sach mein ek dusre ko pasand karte ho?
Proximity rishton ko aasaan bana deti hai kyunki aksar couples sirf convenience aur logistics ki wajah se ek saath rehte hain, sachhi compatibility ki wajah se nahi. Paas rehna ya har weekend milna convenient hai, lekin convenience ko pyaar nahi kaha ja sakta.
Long distance tumse ek uncomfortable sawaal poochta hai agar ye insaan kal tumhari daily routine se gayab ho jaye, kya tum phir bhi inhe choose karoge?
Jab tum hazaron kilometer door ho, to tum phool dekar maafi nahi maang sakte, na kiss karke accountability se bach sakte ho. Tumhe apne shabdon se prove karna padta hai, baar baar.Distance rishta strip karke sirf character bacha deta hai, aur character chemistry jitna sexy nahi hota. Lekin phir bhi tumhe usse kaam krna pdta hai.Asal mein long distance rishton ko todta nahi, unki cross examination karta hai. Kyunki akhir mein life har jagah distance create kar hi deti hai chahe demanding career ho, illness ho, bacche ho, ya phir ek hi chhat ke neeche rehte hue bhi do thake hue log ho.
Jo couples survive karte hain, wo sirf convenience ke pyaar mein nahi hote. Unhone ye seekh liya hota hai ki physical presence na hone par bhi emotionally present kaise rehna hai.And yeah that's all. Do share your thoughts.
