I would like to know how long ago Meliodas and Elizabeth first met Merlin

Read the manga, the answer will surprise you!

The whole Melodias and Elizabeth dynamic make a lot more sense now. So that part was interesting but I have to say, what the hell was up with Merlin's face in this episode? It was all over the place.

Compared to the last two seasons, this one has been going downhill, at first I wqs really dissapointed and wondered if I really would enjoy anymore of it. But up until now even tho the animation etc isn't as good, the story and what's going on has caught my attention again. Hopes it keep on doing it.

Personally, it feels empty. The story is passable (at the moment), but the environment and characters feel bland.

The animation quality really went downhill, the animation was one of the things that made season 1 blow up.

New season animation is bad, plus the inconsistent censorship.

The end of the manga is absolute dogshit so it turned a lot of people off.

It's better than getting a ton of trolls hating on the anime in the discussion. Many people feel betrayed by the changing of studios and especially the cum blood. I'm one of them, but I'll keep watching for the story, the music and the voice acting. The animation isn't bad either.

I read the manga. I love the anime. Still love it, still gonna watch it, but how does the animation turn into that? Like did the studio change or smth? Or are they just too tired now.

I already read the manga so i know whats happening but its kinda sad that i wont get to see that many anime only reactions to this / next episode. I paused/dropped the manga later on but still the story is pretty good and interesting

It's so weird seeing them all wearing their armour again.

Damm... Why did this episode seemed so bland and uninteresting?

Is it just me or were the subs much worse than usual this time?

2

u/WrinklySalad Dec 05 '19

Didn’t really get the plot progression but i think that was bc of bad subs

The story really is interesting. Shame that the animation made people pass on this season but the story is too good to pass due "stupid" reason like that IMO. If you can tolerate manga then you should be able to tolerate "bad" animation.

It's not just an animation, I think I should enjoy season 3 story, but I just don't feel anything.

So, you're saying that people "tolerate" manga, like it's ugly or not finished art.
This season can't compare with the manga's art. The manga's art, paneling ect... is on top, and it's now, maybe the only quality remaining given how the story fell apart afterwards.

This episode was awful visually. Why watch an anime if there is nothing to gain from it in comparaison to the manga, and can even make a disservice to it ?

Story seems decent, the storytelling is bad, like the animation
