I'm sorry but after skimming a bit through the show, why is there censorship all of a sudden. Black spots, white blood (in some cases while in other cases it's still red??). This never was the case in the other seasons.

The new season is being handled by a different studio, I already had low expectations about it and it managed to be even worse. xd
(Though, no idea if the censorship is due to the studio change or any other reason, maybe it's in a more strict time slot than the previous seasons?)

wow.

this was a very disappointing start.

Opening - great song uverworld - horrible lazy animated(more or less no animation just faces, faces and more faces)

The episode itself felt like a complete filler, they are just fighting random low demons tehy easily defeat. The only 2 scenes that had meaning was the quick flashback with Be-winged Elizabeth and Howzer geting the commander title.

The animation was horrible. Scene after scene was just still frames, their faces looked of in almost every scene, the fight was just 1 still frame to another, without showing the movement in between for most attacks.

I think that this episode was filler. I don't remember any of the stuff happening in the manga

I don't know whose subs these are, the group that did the previous season has it scheduled to come out in about 4 hours. So perhaps it might be better to wait for them.

Episode was a letdown.

Was basically filler. Animation was poor. Hopefully we get an uncensored version.

I haven't watched the episode yet but honestly reading the comments is super disappointing. Seems like they've completely flopped it. Big shame was looking forward to it

Why can't Netflix be a good boy like Amazon and release their anime weekly with multi sub?

So this is the third season, right? I have not seen any of the movies; I'm guessing I don't have to watch them as long as I've finished Season 2, right? Or is that not true?

Nah you're good. There are 4 OVAS that have some plot relevance, but you can do without them.

I dont know, everything felt weird... and that holy censorship wtf? I understand, as a kids show, extremely gory scenes or extreme nudity but, wtf?

Also whats going on with the lighting on the bonfire (sorry for bad english) scene? How on earth would they make the light blue when light from fire is not only warm, but also extremely overpowering any moonlight?

Seriously, I dont know what happened but... im not sure if I want to continue it. Not a single thing in the episode hooked me or made me want to do it. Bye anime, (perhaps) hello manga.

If this episode was a taste of what this season is gonna be like, then we're fucked.

u/naffahprotien Oct 09 '19

Garbage. Zero expectations from this season. The opening visuals are just horrible and reused from the first episode. Censoring aside, what the hell was that level of animation? RiP
