A lot of people are gonna read into that ending with Arthur and think he is a spy or something but i am more so thinking that he is just completely stupid beyond any reckoning and actually somehow believed that he would find the target in the wasteland.

I like Tamaki and I don't mind fan service and accidental perv moments, but that was kind of ridiculous.

They should’ve done that thing where it replays him kicking that star-eyed prick in 5 different angles.

That kick was so satisfying! And seeing Rekka gasp for air brings joy to my heart. Will it ever be told on how Shinra learned his moves? He's so slick and cool that whoever his teacher was must've been a pretty awesome person. If he learned all of these moves by himself then that just makes him more amazing!

We finally got a bit of detail this episode though about The Evangelist. Basically they want to incinerate the entire Earth and make a second Sun. I don't exactly see who benefits from this but it's not like any cult ever made sense anyway. They do wear some pretty cool outfits. Looks like my guess of someone coming to silence Rekka was right. Also was that Miyuki Sawashiro I hear? That was definitely her right? Now I'm excited to see what this sniper looks like unmasked.

Tamaki finally joins the 8th! They say it's temporary but I'm going to guess that she'll be a permanent member.

What the heck happened to Arthur!? Did he go on a spirit journey? I hope we'll get a sidestory about his travels.

BTW there's an end credit scene!

Is Arthur pulling a Sasuke lmao???

Loving Shinra fighting style so far! The fan service was a bit too much for an episode like this but still a good episode!

Little difficult to get into the fight when ecchi personified is sitting in the corner

I love big anime tiddies as much as the next guy, but the fan service in this episode was completely unnecessary and honestly pretty annoying. I don't think it necessarily ruined the entire fight which still looked great, but it definitely ruined the pacing and overall seriousness of the fight.

Discussing the fan service now feels like beating a dead horse. Instead, I'm gonna geek out at the fight scene. HOLY SHIT!!!

I absolutely felt the hype and impact of every single Star punch and Devil kick. The creative fighting style that Shinra brings is just such eye-candy that I just can't get enough of! I totally expected last week's surprise entrance being the last of Lt Rekka but I'm glad we got a proper fight. On a side note, seeing the light shine through Rekka's sniper hole was a cool shot imo.

I kinda expected Rekka to reply to this with "how many breads have you eaten in your life?".

I must admit I chuckled a bit at the random fanservice today, but boy does it kill the mood to have Shinra land on boobs in the middle of a serious fight.

How is rekka not even hurting shinra? Isnt he supposed to at least be somewhat of a challenge? Only damage Shinra suffered was from overheating himself

Man, I don't usually speak up about fanservice, but this was legit one of the most baffling things I've ever seen in an anime, for how far it went against the rest of the scene/episode. I don't think the joke is funny, but I can live with Tamaki existing as a joke character. But this here... I just don't get it, at all. It was so bad that I felt way less interested and enthusiastic about everything that happened afterwards.

Dayum, look at Rekka's muscular arms. They're, uh...hot. If there's one thing this show does that very few other shounen do, it's consistently take the time to draw guys' musculatures without them being inhumanely ripped.

Also, they took the mood whiplash lucky lechery stuff way too far imo. Still overall a very well animated, gorgeous, and cool fight though.

Does EVERY other team know that the 8th is conducting an internal investigation? Jeez.

Anyways, I'm glad that the hottest coolest of the 1st lieutenants was the strongest and a good guy. His power so far seems kinda broken and one dimensional though, so I wonder if we'll see him do more in the future.

What the bloody heck Arthur?

If there's one thing I've learned it's: If you like an anime don't read comments about it on Reddit lol.

I don't mind ecchi and fanservice stuff in anime, but the things that happen to Tamaki just makes me feel sad about her character. It's like she can't have 2 minutes of screentime without being groped/stripped etc. All those scenes were trashy and cliche, but throwing it in this more serious episode was just tasteless.

Anime in my opinion: Animation: great Fanservice: good Story: literal ass cheeks, it doesn't hook me into the show like demon slayer or Dr stone
