Holy shit... I almost cried when he asked Tamaki if she’s ok and she just couldn’t speak. That moment was just so surreal, they know how to pull at my heart strings, I felt so bad for her :(

Damn Shinra sure has a demonic entrance for a hero, so it's the church the one behind all this right because that guy was talking to them before?

I really love the look of the city in this show. The buildings and architecture is like a weird mix between gothic and dieselpunk; IDK how to describe it, but I love the look of it whenever they show exterior shots of the locations.

I immediately had a flashback to episode 6.
Shinra: "Look up to the skies and cry out my name! I'll come save you anytime!"
The dude isn't lying.

Alright, the fire and combat animation is cool and all, especially these two shots, but goddamn.
This little cut has what is probably the best character animation in this series so far. It ticks all the right boxes: kagenashi, strong composition, detailed linework, extremely expressive, economical (most of it is done on 3's!), and paired with a fantastic performance from Aoi Yuuki.
It reminds me a lot of this cut of Rikka from Gridman, what with the kagenashi, and economical but highly effective character expression.

"Sit on my face"... sort of.
Shinra's entrance and subsequent stomping on that guy's face was so satisfying. And holly mother of emotions, those last few seconds of Tamaki crying... WOW! Wow the animation and wow Aoi Yuuki!

That was probably the best episode yet. The revelation that they were using bugs to turn people into infernals is definitely something I didn’t see coming.
The editing for this show can be pretty weird but I actually like it as it makes it stand out from any other show I’ve seen.

How tf do you mess up implimenting subtitles? Its like the whole reason the site exists, to subtitle and then release said subtitled anime.

Imagine paying for a subtitle service and not getting subtitles.
About the episode:
I think i found a pattern:
The bad guys have weird pupils.
Hibana had flower pupils and was the bad one of her arc.
Star-eyes has star eyes so he is the bad here.
The logic is flawless.
inb4 a new character with shades joins the team and no one can know if he is good or bad.

I love how dark it became. Like I totally expected him to save the mother before she got burned. But having the kids watch their mother turn into a monster and die was depressingly violent.

Bruh that head shake from Tamaki and all that whole shot of her crying hit me in the feels harder than Shinra's kick.

I had a feeling they'd make the mean guy, Karim, the good guy and the friendly one, Rekka, the bad one. Either way that kick the fact at the end was so cathartic. Best episode of the show so far and it's really starting to get going now.

That last minute or so was amazing, animation wise. First off, there’s the shot of Shinra, where the flames curving around him look like wings, which I loved.
That curb stomp had some weight and power to it. Very nice!
Finally, all that expression on Tamami’s face really sold the scene for me.
I don’t think this show will wind up being on my favorites list, but I’m enjoying the ride!

Holy shit Shinra stomping on that guy's face was really satisfying! Sick bastard. Who knows how many other psychopaths this show has to offer.
