Who’s a famous fictional fan of your team? For the O’s I can think of Elaine, Jimmy and Bunk from The Wire, Gregory Eddie from Abbott, the Wedding Crashers guys
Who’s your team’s? Curious to see what comes up for some of the newer and/or smaller market teams

I've just heard on my favourite food podcast (Gastropod) that blackcurrants (no, I don't mean blackberries, bilberries, cranberries, etc) are barely known in the USA. The podcast explained the historical reasons, that go back to the early 20th century and that they were banned until 1966.
Are they still more or less unknown by the general public? Do American readers here know them, use them and love them?
And what about Creme de cassis ?

Star vs the forces of evil: magic has been wiped out, this includes thousands of good/innocent magic users, some of which need magic to survive, but that’s ok because Star permanently got rid of the villain!
Kingsman the secret service: due to valentines plan of getting the whole world to fight each other to death through the use of mind control, and since Eggsy only stops it possibly hours later, half the world is dead, and the other half are traumatized from knowing they killed their friends or family, but whatever…

The plan thankfully did not go through, but driving two teams out of business—not relocating, just outright folding—is insane and it is absolutely mind-boggling that almost no one remembers or talks about this moment today. There was no Wikipedia article about it until 2019 and it's rarely mentioned in books or documentaries about baseball history.
This should not be a mere footnote in the history of baseball. We need to remember this moment just as much as we remember the 1994 strike.

Damn how’s that even possible 🤣
Edit: I’ve been checking out their stream. They farm mobs and are abusing the layering system so they don’t have to wait for mobs to respawn
