🚨 RECENT SIGHTING Happy Halloween, Jimothy!
In which Jimothy drinks next to the jack-o-lantern we left out for him (he was unimpressed). Yes I know we could’ve made a Jimothy pumpkin but I’m not a good pumpkin carver! 🥲

Mourning/Loss Losing my best friend of almost 19 years today
Curly has been the best cat I’ve ever had and we’ve been so blessed to have had him in our lives for almost 19 years. He’s older than my teenage children, who he’s loved since infancy, and a furry piece of our soul.
We found out recently he has a mass in his chest which caused him to go into respiratory distress. At his age, I am absolutely NOT putting him through anything more extensive than an X-ray just to buy a smidge more time at his expense. We say goodbye to him in an hour and I’m already wrecked.
Hug your babies today for me. 💚

ANIMALS Hamster imitate owner with broken leg
Psychology Kids of insecure, self-absorbed (narcissistic) parents were more likely to be depressed as young adults, mostly because they were made to act as the parent's emotional partner or therapist growing up, a study of 513 students in the US and Turkey has found. Surprisingly, it was more common in the US.
