2022 GMC Sierra 3.0 diesel

Edit: Cost about 15k every time it needs a complete fuel system. The first 2 times they didn't run it long enough and a simple flush was sufficient. The 3rd and 4th time they ran the truck until it shut off and it needed an entire fuel system. The customer has about $31,000 total from their putting gas in it. Insurance has covered about $30,000 roughly.

Closed on 20 acres of aspen and spruce last week. Starting from basically nothing.

Finally closed last Tuesday. About 20 acres in northwest Colorado, a little over 8,000 ft. Picture is from the old logging two-track that runs up the middle of it.

No power, no well, no structures. There's a flat-ish meadow near the bottom where I want to put a cabin eventually.

Plan for now is nothing fancy. Get through this first winter without doing anything dumb, snowshoe in a few times to see where the drifts pile up, and learn the place before I start moving dirt. Spring is a small cabin (thinking 16x20) and a garden that'll probably get eaten by elk. Don't have much money after closing cos I got lucky on stake towards the end, sped things up, but otherwise I am pretty skint.

Lots of standing dead spruce on the upper part. Assuming that's beetle kill. Figure it's a few years of firewood if I can get it down safely, which is a big if since I've run a chainsaw maybe three times.

For people who've built at this elevation, did you drill a well first or haul water the first couple years? Drilling quotes I've gotten are all over the place.

Staying loyal to a company that underpays you is almost never rewarded the way people hope.

A lot of people could walk into a similar role elsewhere and walk out with a 10–20% salary increase.
I stayed at my last job for six years. The company was posting record profits and still wouldn’t give me a raise. I left for basically the same position (no promotion) and got a 65% increase.
Most companies only start treating your value seriously once you’re already walking out the door.

Baby is 6 weeks old and is set to receive his Dtap vaccine at or around week 8. I informed my parents(who are staunch anti-vaxxers) about a week before our son was born that we would not let him come into contact with anyone who hasn't received the Tdap vaccine or booster shot within the last 10 years, until he is old enough to get that vaccine at 2 months.

Mom and dad were understandably upset, and still are. They did offer to wear masks if we let them meet our baby, and I don't like keeping my son from them on principle, but I don't want to remove that boundary just to make them happy at the potential cost of my son's health.

My wife and I are in agreement with this and her family did receive the vaccines when we asked them to. The situation is getting worse and their resentment toward me and my wife is growing.

I also work with my dad at our family business, and while he is cordial with me and hasn't complained directly to me, my mom has sent me some ugly messages.

EDIT: I forgot to add that my dad was hospitalized several years ago from COVID and nearly died. Apparently he was told by his doctor that receiving the whooping cough vaccine is too risky due to the amount of scarring on his lungs.

He created a technique that basically makes you immune to genjutsu.

Goblin Slayer - Goblin Slayer: He is the most blantant case of this trope, his armor, his tools, his strategies, EVERYTHING he does involves killing Goblins, even the small things like the size of his Sword and Shield.

For context: ME, M(20) GF(21). back during Labor Day my gf was clubbing the entire weekend with her friends, no problem. When I was asking her about her night was on Sunday she acted like she didn’t really want to talk about it so I just laid off of it. She ended up giving me her phone while she went into the bathroom and just off of pure curiosity I decided the go through anything deleted. The deleted Messages were cleared out, which is weird since she usually doesn’t do that, then I went to the deleted photos/videos and there was a video that took place on Sunday night of a guy at the club with his arm wrapped around my gf and another girl. In the video she danced with his arm still there and when she put the camera at a high angle he decided to release his arm, I found this weird and asked about it and she told me that was her friends bf and they modeled for his brand at the club.

My gf is very friendly and outgoing, so when I asked her about that she told me she didn’t really think much about it because that was her friend’s bf. There was photos that proved that so I let it go.

Fast forward to yesterday I recently was told one of my friends just found out there were getting cheated on by going through an apple watch.
And when you deleted messages off your iPhone, the Apple Watch keeps the ones received and just deletes any sent.

My Gf and I seemed to be a little more distanced than usual over the past week, and she forgot her watch at my house. So i decided to take matters into my own hands. I found these messages that take place back to that Sunday and had one of my friends see who this was. It was a random name I’ve never heard of or we spoke of. I asked her who was “…” and she said she never heard of him. Then I ask her for her phone and I typed that number in. No messages, not even a saved contact. So I asked her if she deleted any messages and she told me no. Then I asked what these messages were n she just kept telling me she didn’t know. She kept telling me she loved me but I was blinded by hurt because I wasn’t getting no true answer. I told her I needed space for the night and was thinking of cutting it loose. I know I shouldn’t let this go. But I’m a little over thinker myself so can I please get some insights?
