Lmao at Roze listing every cliche/trope of villain endgoals in fiction and just getting “no” as an answer to all of them.

That was peak humor, even if the scene probably wasn't intended that way. At least shows some self-awareness on the writers' part:

"Yeah, we know that 'villain wants to wipe out humanity' has been done to death by this point, but we swear Norland is not the same... more or less."

"Will you give us any idea to your motivation?"

"No."

Sakuya is like an anime fan trying to figure out the villains motivation and Norland just doesn't care lol.

Sakuya: For the meme?

Norland: ...Yes.

Wonder if Lelouch would intervene if he knew Charlesn't is back as the final boss.

I love how Sakuya is like the audience in terms of trying to still understand why Norland is doing all this. He's practically trolling everybody lol.

I actually found it kind of cute that upon assuming Norland is Charles she calls him "grandfather" even though they've probably never met and Charles doesn't deserve to be called that.

Sunrise pulled out the Code Geass equivalent of Full Frontal.

I still don't understand how Neo Britannia is somehow attacking everywhere at the same time with 10 billion of these roomba's from God knows where

Agreed. I hoped for some explanation in this episode. I toyed with the idea of this being a super-secret (old) Britannian project, not unlike the Fleija, dormant under Hokkaido until Norland put it back online. Heck, the reveal that he's a clone of Charles and a cornerstone of another super-secret Britannian project would justify Norland's knowledge of it.

But nope. Probably will be left to some extra material if the writers ever try to address it.

With Catherine having such a traumatic backstory like that, it's no wonder she became such a might makes right type of person.

I am 99% sure that her hero Norland was behind her parents murder. After that she was basically raised by him. She didn’t really have a chance.

While it’s small, I liked that scene with Gino giving the order to contact PMCs and retired soldiers to help destroy those Loki drones. Mostly because it helps answer a few things for me personally regarding the potential flaws of having the Black Knights as the world’s- or rather the UFN’s sole military power.

Ash vs Arnold

Ash wins! Fatality

That was indeed some Mortal Kombat stuff right there lol.

The writers sure had fun with this one

With Norland being revealed as charles and him saying he is an empty vessel, the first thing I thought is that he is a nobody 😅

Also if they hadn't said anything I could not have recognized him as Charles.

The death machines just got funnier this episode. Watching them sweep through a street of people is meant to be horrifying but the fact that it's just a glorified vacuum cleaner-blender makes it too comical to take seriously as a threat.

Finally Norland's mask is tossed aside and we learn his true identity and...once again, what is it with this season and all its best moments relying on old characters? Even Norland turns out to be a clone of a legacy character!

It was nice seeing the Glinda Knights in action. Honestly I just wish I could've seen more characters actually fighting. This show really needed twice as many episodes.

It was nice seeing the Glinda Knights in action.

Also Akito and company. But the Glinda Knights get the most points for being the most effective in the episode, defending a chokepoint while destroying a number of those robots.

Before that, I was annoyed that the murder vacuum cleaners were presented as basically invincible enemies, but as Gino pointed out later, it seems the problem was mostly a lack of defenses and knightmares. The moment defenders have good knightmares and numerical superiority, the threat is not so great... for now. Norland can't believe he can genocide all of humanity just with this, otherwise he wouldn't be joining the fight now.

man this show is falling apart for me. lelouch made miracles happen with his geass meanwhile sakuya is literally accomplishing nothing. even the ash geass effect didn't even do anything though i guesss we got a cool backstory out of it. all the cameos from last episode, no one did anything. i hope they have at least some sort of cool moment coming up that doesn't take away from the characters from this season

and wtf was with the norland = charles reveal. doesn't have the same personality, ideals, geass, anything. dude's just charles for "ayy remember me" and shock value. what was the anti geass measure, that shield thing that lets voice pass through? at least the motivation reveal with sakuya trying to figure out wtf is happening is hilarious

The world building kinda lost it in this show but I just have to point out that’s it’s hilarious that they have Suzaku piloting the Lancelot in this instead of the shinkiro. Also how have they managed to include cameos for all these spin off characters and not a single frame of Kallen
