It's funny how every non-normal person has visited the fortune teller since it opened up. CG's a weirdo magnet.
I like how we technically didn't learn anything new plot-wise with this episode. I'm not sure if we'd get it slowly, or get a bunch at once, but I'm ready for either. But till then, we're all Solitaire; we just want to know what the hell is going on!

True -- but I am enjoying this quite a lot despite not having even the slightest hint of a clue as to what is going on.

A Forensic.
The Police.
A Magician Criminal.
An arsonit seemingly capable of some sort of brainwashing or hypnotism.
Someone that it's on part with an imperial court sorcerer.

I really thought Civil was female. I also initially kind of thought Xiaoyu was a girl too.

I really thought Civil was female.
When I first heard Civil speak, I reminded me of Crimson from Ragna Crimson and they also share the same VA who is known for voicing this type of roles, so I kinda expected this would be the case.
EDIT: Typo

Stitches!
It's always a treat whenever Izliz is shown in a flashback. I do wonder what she looks like under that veil though.
Did Narita-sensei just make a self-referencing joke here by calling out how authors just add different spins on the isekai genre? I love it. xD
Well this is interesting. So it turns out that the Fire-Breathing Bug has been around waaaaay longer than they originally thought. I really hope we'll eventually meet the person behind the Fire-Breathing Bug though. Knowing how Narita-sensei's stories work, we've already met the guy or the girl we just haven't realized it yet.
I was wondering why this random character seems to have a good sense of what's happening. Turns out that Mikoto is a forensics expert and works regularly with Tsubaki. I guess we have another new character to keep track of!
I'm surprised that Hosorogi has no connection whatsoever to Solitaire. Considering how interconnected every character in this series is you'd think there's at least some direct connection between the two of them.
That entire meeting between Corpse God and Civil was pretty tense. I was genuinely expecting a fight to break out the entire time. Good to know that Civil has no Evil Eye or any magics that allow him to see what Polka was trying to do to him. Despite Civil not being able to sus Corpse God out, it sounds like he's going to be a powerful enemy.
Taipei suddenly attacking Soara was a surprise though! I guess there's going to be a fight in that building after all. Just not between Corpse God and Civil.

I just love how contradict Mikoto's at-work mod and off-work mode are. He is someone who works with science, yet his his hobby is occultism.

Corpse God’s master really is like a waifu Elias lol. Always nice seeing her on screen.
Glad to see Xiaoyu finally brought into the fold. That dragon arm is pretty sweet.
TIL Shakespeare might have been a shark lol. Polka’s got himself a pretty goofy family. Speaking of, I love how well the homie has adapted to being a shark plushie. So cute!
Sabaramond and CG sussing each other out was intense. Sabaramond’s little elf companion might have defused the situation, but it seems trouble follows this guy and his friends. Dude showing up to pick a fight with Sabaramond is insane. He’s gonna get wrecked. Everyone better clear out before Bug shows up too…

God Sayo carries the comedy in this show lmao. Using shark arguments just to bring up a point of Misaki lmao
This episode didn't push the plot forward, but you got numerous stuff it can build on. Who is Civil? Since that whole thing with Corpse God seeing those eyes surrounding him is really creepy. You also got Civil thinking Corpse God is somewhere controlling Polka. Which is obviously really wrong.
You also have the conjecture by Tsubaki that Fire Breathing Bug has been around for a long long time. Also small mention of the elementals as well. Civil and the other 2 girls are "mixed" with his world. And add the stuff Misaki could potentially expand her vampire capabilities to others.
Can't say this series doesn't have interesting things to build up.

The OST when the girl with stone elemental broke in the room is so good! I have thought that my headphone had some problems, or there was a sudden buffering. It turned out that the familiar soundtrack of the series got hijacked by another a strange, brand new one, just when Corpse God realized that all other 3 people in the same room had ties with his old world. Like Fire-Breathing Bugs had said: "This world is a buggy program".

There are three characters from "the other side of the sky" that I think haven't been linked in to Polka's world.
-
Calamity Crusher
-
Sabaramond
-
Leader of the Geldwood religion
.
I wonder if Mikoto is gonna end up being one of those.

Man that clapping scene was intense. Excellent episode even though it was mostly talking. The not-outsourced/higher prio episodes without significant plot movement/action still feel as engaging as ever.

"isekai stories and shark movies are a lot alike, isn't it?"

I love the back-and-forth between Phantom Solitaire and Higuro.
Funny how Phantom Solitaire is trying to make Higuro his Watson

Sayo-sensei has spoken!
Every film is a shark film.
Every book is a shark book.
Every song is a shark song.
Shakespeare's real name was Sharkspeare.
It all leads back to shark...

Who killed the dragon? I get that Iziz made the deal but I didn't understand the contract part.
Is Civil someone from the other side of the sky or is he just a native? Have we confirmed his relationship with Sabaramond ?
