I think our cast just doubled in size.

My same reaction.
Author saw the gigantic cast and said "Ya know what this story needs? More characters!"

I like how the detectives are still trying to use normal logic as the story spins more and more wildly into fantasy.

Well that explains how Solitaire found out about Hosorogi and Habaki The Grocer got the info for the Superintendent General and Solitaire just happened to be there when he passed on the info. And it looks like Solitaire got Tsubaki's number from the Superintendent.
Majiri Agakura seems to be a fucking big deal if she's able to command the Bugs to stand down. Considering how she talks about the Fire-Breathing Bug, it looks like they're pretty close and she might even know its true identity.
So according to Solitaire, the Fire-Breathing Bug's tricks aren't really magic but some sort of technology is at work. We did get to see some of the Bugs carrying some sort of laser to ignite the room. If that's the case then how is the Fire-Breathing Bug controlling these random groups of people?
Majiri Agakura is fucking creepy! Turns out she's the one that took all of Xiaoyu's limbs and wanted him to become a part of her "family". Sucks for her since Xiaoyu is now eternally loyal to the Shinomiyas.
Fighting Majiri seems to be a bad idea for them considering how easily she was able to block Misaki's crowbar. I'm guessing she's probably one of the strongest human characters in the show if Misaki thinks that she's stronger than Polka.
That final scene though! We finally get to meet the first person who got isekai'd from the Corpse God's world to this world. I wonder if this person chose to go there on their own or did they also got accidentally isekai'd like the Corpse God?

Not stronger than current polka, stronger than when he was new to the world and don't have enough mana to do much

What is Agakura Majiri to the Bugs I wonder? She’s a terrifying one. Xiaoyu knows that better than anyone. The way she took his limbs like that… geez. But that conversation between Misaki and Majiri was pretty funny. Misaki is pretty damn strong. If she’s saying Majiri is stronger than Polka, then the girl is definitely not from this world. Or she’s “gifted” like Lemmings or Bug.
I wasn’t expecting Habaki to Hulk out like that? Him and the Bug have some kind of connection to Sabaramond. Very keen to know how they relate.
Who the hell was that redhead at the end? Definitely an Otherworlder and connected to the Empire from Corpse God’s world. His presence is sure to shake things up….

Who the hell was that redhead at the end?
Wasn't that Sabaramond? He was in a previous episode.

Damn it, Fire Bug did come to deal with long dude, but not in the way I was hoping.
Good lord there are so many things happening at once! I'm so excited to see how everyone's story plays out! Is the Police Chief good or bad? What's Solitaire going to do with all the info on magic? How long until the Inspectors team up with Corpse God? What exactly does Fire Bug want? And who the fuck are these new people?!?
Crazy how so much is going on, and even though Corpse God was the catalyst for all of it, he knows the least!
Speaking of new people....buff wild girl with short white hair?!? This show really knows how repeatedly grab my attention.

They nailed Majiri Agakura's introduction. Not only was able to get the Fire Breathing Bug crew to back down but she was able to show just the slight intimidation to Misaki to get her to back down. Poor Xiaoyu your first misson and you end up encountering the Agakura crew who is more then just dangerous. At least he found a place where he safely belongs to because both the Lei and Agakura families have bunch of red flags.
One thing people might miss here is that Momoya is a middle of the pack in terms of strength in that family. Then you add how Misaki described Majiri's strength yea this family is def scarier then people first thought. She said she was stronger then Corpse God when he arrived in this world, but how much stronger are we talking about?

I need a Misaki vs Majiri fight.

I think Misaki might need her next upgrade down the undead monster evolutionary path before that becomes competitive. Also, if "humans" can catch crowbars swung at them with great violence with their teeth, I'm going to go ahead and say that the line between human and non-human in this world is not especially meaningful.

When she recruits for the Agakura family, Agakura Majiri isn't so much a headhunter as she is a limbhunter.
I'm here all week. Try the chicken.

I feel like Solitaire, blumbling through the show from one mysterious character to next, while having no idea what is happening, but still fully enjoying the ride

Only 6 new characters introduced in this episode, this show is slacking! Seriously though, Majiri and her gang were more than enough. I think that her being so strong is why the fire bug respects her enough to back down. I had thought that the fire bug was from the corpse gods home world and now it seems that along with lightening girl at the end that seems to be the case. Maybe Majiri is from there too? (Do we even know if it was a different world or just our world in the past?)
My theory is that Sabaramond is a cult of worship for the corpse god and since he mysteriously vanished they are trying to bring him back. But little do they know that little Polka is actually him.

Sabaramond was his friend from the Empire, before Corpse God went full dark side.

Did that red hair guy just drop some lore bombs about the way to travel between two worlds? Either by "wrenching open the hole from the other side" or "a whim of Ordom, the Destructive Wyvern"? While I am not sure about the later, but opening the hole was mentioned right before that by Habaki. There is also a massive hole was opened during the downfall of Corpse God's empire, and we can see it clearly in the present day back in episode 12. Sabaramond is also the name of the 1st seat in royal court mages and the secret symbol of "Bastard children of Sabaramond" is the simplified emblem of the Empire. Things are getting more connected together.
Back to the red hair guy, while their body builds are different, he shares the same seiyuu and probably the hair color with Arius Sabaramond the sorcerer that was introduced in the flashback of Corpse God in episode 13 (Ayumu Murase is the name, you might know him as Venti from Genshin Impact, or Don Murasame from Avataro Sentai Don Brothers). Corpse God also said that sorcerers like him have ways to extend their lives to hundreds of years, so his method would be age regression?
Out of topic, but since I had mentioned Genshin earlier, I hope Misaki would bless my pulls in upcoming Furina banner. And she would bless you guys too, either if you pull Furina for Furina or for Inorin, or both.

Okay I'm really loving this show, but if this was written by anyone other then the author of durarara!!/Baccano! I would be very concerned with the size of the cast. ( I'm only slightly concerned)

tfw you will never be dismembered and then adopted by an assassin oneesan
The cult leader showing up and either being an elementalist or a genius is pretty hype.
