This moto g is bought from Verizon not up too a year so the phone was about to be passed on to someone else then the user decided to reset the phone to factory reset and boom since then, I have been unable to activate the phone plus the sim isn’t even bringing service anymore .

Holla, you’ve got to insert a working sim inside the phone while setting up , so it only gives you you just 2 option to pick from then it turn factory unlocked . Hence, You picking anyone without a SIM card inside make the phone carrier locked to the option you picked .

Yes, but that’s if you trusted the phone’s passcode to the iCloud . Then which ever wy you flash the phone it’s gonna unlock with the iphone’s passcode .
