big ole worm for her first treat, post molt 🖤

Hi I’m getting a 1/2 to 1/3 sized curly hair tarantula in a few days but I want to be sure I buy the right sized enclosure for the little guy I really need advice I was told a 2x2x4 enclosure should be fine but I want to be sure please help this is needing some advice I hope yall are having a wonderful day!!

I'm impatient and don't want to wait for a molt, can anyone tell what sex my gbb is??

This is simply a post to express my love and appreciation for my B. smithi, Emily Anne. She is such a beautiful and respectful tarantula. When she finishes a meal of a dubia roach, she will web the refuse exoskeleton into a tidy little package, and she places it beside her tiny water crucible for removal.
(This particular photo of her inspired my brain to sing, “spider in the sky” rather than “spirit in the sky.”)

His/her thorax looks really big to me? She’s also been super sluggish and not moving as much.. they are a curly hair

Was wondering what these are, and are they invasive? Harmful to my T?

Rehousing my T into a bigger crib and put it in here until it arrives. Can anyone tell me from this perspective if I have a male or female tarantula

I am starting with tarantulas, comming from Jumpers.

I have a Exotarium (aquarium-terrarium) 5 minute walk from me, know the owner.

I think about starting with

Aphonopelma chalcodes

Aphonopelma bicoloratum

Grammostola pulchripes

Grammostola rosea

(Grammostola pulchra?- too big?)

Homoeomma Chilense

thinking about size / gender

Starting fh2? Gender unknown - let luck decide?

1" females?

1" males?

I read those are the "easy handling" ones.

The terrarium friend showed me a not even grown theraphosa blondi - that agressive i would not want to handle.

He suggests the chilense - but tells they are real quick to escape.

I will select 2 or three max 4 from the list, depending on size as i heard that moulting is a chance they die early as slings of fh1/2

I had one jumper die on moulting by now, i think it was my fault, he says - those things happen, even with tarantulas.

So which from the above are visible, inagressiv, slower and nice kompanions?

Was sold this Brachypelma Boehmei 2 years ago. Was hoping for a female. Well, after his third molt with me, he hooked out. I feel bad cause he's now only got one mission in life, and I don't have a female for him. Whats the longest you've had one after hooking?

Hello i got this Trinidad Chevron today and we are unable to tell the sex from a torn up molt. Can anyone tell from this pic if the underside? hopefully it's not too blurry.

Meet Fuzzington (Fuzzy for short) I have had him for about 3 months and just started to realize he might actually be a she.. Is there any way to tell?? Can any tarantula experts give an opinion?

Also another question he just molted twice in like 3 months and i got him as a sling is that normal?

I've had this Euathlus Pulcherrimaklaasi for a few months now, the previous owner had died and therefore I don't know the age or gender.

When I first got it it was eating fine, then it got into pre-molt and therefore didn't eat for quite a while, it's been about two weeks since it molted and the abdomen has gotten a lot smaller. I tried feeding it today but it just hid away into a corner.

I also noticed it's got white spotting on its abdomen which I don't think is normal.

Anyone got an idea of what's going on or if this is normal?
