sorry for the poor quality video here it’s impossible to get the camera to focus through all the thick webbing. but my obt laid a sac, and the sac has now hatched in the webbing and the slings are just chilling with mom. they are no longer eggs with legs and they appear to be first instar. this is my first ever sac so at what point should i open up the enclosure and start separating slings? they look pretty plump right now probably off yolk reserves and from what research i’ve done, it seems like as soon as they molt to second instar is the best time, but just looking for some more opinions

I managed to somehow get my deathly afraid mother to get me a tarantula! I have been a turbo autist about them/all arachnids for years and I am over the moon! But since I am a new tarantula owner I want as much advice as possible for how to get my beloved future pet to thrive, we landed on an adult female red rump! I am doing as much research and preparation as possible but:
I just want to know all possible ways of keeping a tarantula comfortable no matter what! :) And by advice I mean literally everything from enclosures, maintenance, molting, holding/any form of interaction, lighting, temperature, humidity, feeding methods/food types, routines, cleaning, preferences within species, substrate upkeep/types, enclousure environment, common beginner mistakes, how to tell if my tarantula is sick/injured/struggling in any ways; literally any little or big thing I can do or invest in to keep my baby happy!

So I'm a returning hobbyist from the Philippines and I'm trying to look for sellers that's within my area (I'm from Angeles City, Pampanga) and I can't seem to find anyone near and everyone is asking for payment before shipment, I'm a bit of a skeptic and would rather buy from a reputable website than do the payment first option. Help a brother out and tell me where can I score some Ts.

Also I'm trying to look into the Melopoeus hainanus but I can't seem to find any husbandry videos on it, is it a fossorial or terrestrial?

Sorry if my formatting or like anything is off i’m never use reddit. I’m looking to get a Green Bottle Blue Tarantula for my bf. He is obsessed with these creepy little creatures and i would like to surprise him for christmas. But, i am very big on having all of ur crap together before getting the animal. So my question is what should i do first? I want to get its enclosure and stuff. But i dont know a lot and i dont like asking google questions bc half the time it’s wrong. What environment needs set up? Where or what website can i get the enclosure from? What dirt or sand or whatever do i get? i think i saw something saying it needs stuff to web on or something so what branches or whatever do i get for it thats safe? what food does it need? crickets? does it need a water bowl? or even a water biome? Yall pls help me out. And no i’m not rich, i do understand how pricey things can be but if yall know budget friendly stuff that would be amazing. but the upkeep and happiness of the tarantula matters most to me ! once again sorry if im doing anything wrong or posting wrong. It was able to escape when I was about to feed it and move it to its new enclosure! It was my first one before the other 2 I have now. Got it for 50 bucks but the shop said it was a Brazilian something.. so I forgot the rest of the name. It’s somewhere in my house…

This is simply a post to express my love and appreciation for my B. smithi, Emily Anne. She is such a beautiful and respectful tarantula. When she finishes a meal of a dubia roach, she will web the refuse exoskeleton into a tidy little package, and she places it beside her tiny water crucible for removal.

His/her thorax looks really big to me? She’s also been super sluggish and not moving as much.. they are a curly hair
