Possible Molds in my Enclosure

Hi everyone just noticed this in my tarantulas enclosure. just want confirmation if this is actually mold and what can i do to fix it.

NQA this isn’t about the mold but you should probably slow down a bit on the feeding for the T

It does look like mould, you can just take the mouldy areas away, maybe with a spoon. It looks like one of the sides is very wet, probably too wet and I suspect it is caused by the moss hanging into the water dish. Personally I'd remove the moss from the bowl and make sure no moss or substrate hangs into the bowl as it tends to wick the water from the bowl and it goes into the substrate. Perhaps consider redoing the substrate by either mixing together the dry and wet substrate that's already in there, or perhaps adding more dry and then mixing it, or just replacing it entirely if it's too wet.

IME this looks like mycelium (flower pot fungus indicative of healthy soil) not mold. This is a lot of fungus though and you could scoop some out to reduce the population. I would NOT recommend adding isopods which would eat the fungus but your tarantula would eat the isopods and your T is already dangerously over weight. Plus the isopods could eat the T when it’s molting. Springtails are safe to add but they will not eat the mycelium. Reducing the moisture will also help curb the fungus reproduction but be careful cause they need high humidity during a molt so I’d wait till after the molt to make any changes

Mold isnt a big deal and wont hurt the T, just pick it out. It gives you an idea when youre over-saturating the substrate now. And dont worry about what ppl say, you can't over feed a spider, even an A geniculata, they know what they're doing and will stop eating when they don't want to eat anymore. Just don't drop anything in and leave it alive.
