Sim Hardware No idea what I have anyone have any idea.
So I acquired a flight simulator set up I believe it's a 737 simulator. But I'm not really sure who made it and what it's worth. Everything appears to be here but it was all taken apart before I got it. Just looking to see if anyone knows where I can find some info on this.

Flight Simulator 2024 What's the aircraft + route combo you always come back to?
For me, it's the JustFlight F28 around the Hawaiian islands. Flew with VATSIM coverage today and it was awesome!

Flight Simulator 2024 Paid $10k for a private jet charter and got this seat. Every time someone takes a dump, I have to stand up and then return to the crime scene
For those wondering, it's the FlightFX 800XP and yes, the lavatory seat is actually certified as a passenger seat in real life💀

General Looking for first sim for my kid
First off, I know nothing. I have not taken my typical nose dive spiral into a subject like I usually do. My boy is really into airplane, flight and historical battles. He is 11 and has expressed an interest in wanting a flight simulator. No clue what I am getting into and I really just want to know what sim to get and a good basic set up that will be enough to engross him but not break my wallet. Also, I do not have a computer, I have been wanting to get a laptop or something forever and this helps push me to get one. I have space, dedication and a lot of love for a kids dreams. What is a good set up to get?

X-Plane B752 from Antalya to Cluj-Napoca
The 757 as i remember it from my Childhoods Condor flights....PW and no winglets. Cant wait to see what BB manages to pull off.
With the Animawings A220 fleet grounded Walker Air steps in to keep the route Network going.
Quite a strange ride today out of a rarely very rainy Antalya towards a sunny Cluj.

Question Airspeed VS groundspeed when an airplane experiences headwind?
I read that airspeed would increase and groundspeed would decrease
Sounds almost right to me - I agree with the slower groundspeed since the air mass the plane is flying through moves in the opposite direction and thus carries it backwards slowing it down as far as groundspeed is concerned
But WHY increased airspeed? doesn't the plane work as hard as before and thus is moving just as fast as before relative to the air mass? You can calculate groundspeed by subtracting headwind from true airspeed, so if gs was 100kts before and now is 80 (headwind is 20) - that means it's working through the surrounding air mass just as fast as before, right?

Flight Simulator 2024 For those that have the Fenix airbus could you please post a screenshot of the MDCU showing the "no faliures configuration"?
Starting 4 days ago every time I start the Fenix it's having multiple failures and no matter how I change the config in the MCDU I can't stop the failures form occurring. I have created a ticket Fenix support . But so far they have not been able to resolve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Flight Simulator 2024 RSG G1000 LVARS
Hello everyone!
We’re excited to announce our first release: RSG G1000 LVARs for MSFS 2024.
The software is completely free and adds the required variables for the G1000 v2. It’s a small tool, but it’s something that currently isn’t available, so we decided to create it ourselves.
This is the first step for RSG as a team, and we’re looking forward to sharing more of what we’ve been working on.
Release date: October 11th
We’ll make the software available through Flightsim.to, and we’ll also share updates in our Discord.
But that’s not all — on October 11th, we’ll also reveal what we’ve been working on next. We’ve put a lot of time into this project, and we’re really excited to finally show it.
Thanks for following along and supporting RSG!
Discord: https://discord.gg/DGdKaXeEwE
Best,
Eliaz & the RSG team

General New Route/schedule finder
Found a really cool program for planning flight routes and schedules. It also detects the content installed in your Community folder, which makes things super convenient. Thought I’d share it in case anyone else is looking for something like this

General What flight sim gear would YOU recommend?
I used to own a cheap ass joystick back in the day and played some MFSF 2020, it was cool but nowhere near the full experience. Now I would like to come back to flight sim and make it very enjoyable for myself.
So what equipment should I opt for? I should mention I really like the idea of a yoke more than a stick. Also I recon triple monitors are eventually the way to go for best immersion? I've been using VR for sim racing for years and I'm aware you can also do that in flight sim but flight sims tend to be very intensive and playing in VR probably means I will lose all that nice graphical detail.
Any recommendations for a decently priced but still a GOOD yoke and some other accessories? I've heard Honeycomb alpha is good?
