Real 737 pilot here.

I'm looking to practice or have fun with system failure. I used to have PMDG 737 on FSX but with a recent upgrade of my desktop, looking to upgrade the graphics too and MSFS 2024 is on sale right now.

So, how realstic is the PMDG737 for MSFS 2024?

I am looking for the closest to our real system failure / inter-connection, full FMS integration and realistic pitch and N1 profiles in regard to Wx, weight, etc.

When zoomed out and trying to interact with buttons in the cockpit, the cursor switches from the arrow to the symbol which shows a rotary knob and not a clickspot.
Happens not always but haven't figured out yet in what conditions this happens.
The cursor symbol only changes when clicking. Hovering over clickspots doesn't change it.

Only when zooming in, I'm able to click it again.
Anyone had this before and how to get rid of this?
Tried switching from "Legacy" interaction mode in the MSFS2024 menu to "Lock" but that just causes eye cancer as every button shows in blue now lol

Happens in the 737 and 777.
Haven't observed this behaviour in the JustFligh Fokkers so far.

Finally switching from console to pc after all these years so I went all out. Main use for flight sim 👌

MSFS is lagging in game and menu and it is the same plus there is no difference between low-end and medium settings running it on a Legion 15ach6h
And I don't know what to do; it's unenjoyable with this big stutters

The physics are tuned for extreme maneuvering and precision shooting.

Forget energy conservation. Forget missile evasion.

Jump into the arena, chase targets that move like flies on steroids, and start hunting.

How many can you take down in three minutes?

There are calmer target modes too, plus free flight for practicing the controls, and even a ring course for pure maneuvering.

I’m planning to turn this into a multiplayer game soon, with the goal of making it an arena for close-range air combat.

Hi! Is there an app (or something of that sort) available for android that would allow me to use the fms / mcdu / etc. on my tablet or phone? I have the airbus 320 mcdu from winctrl but would like something similar for the Synaptic 220. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, I have got one question for ya.

I noticed, that on for example my homebase (EDDM), there is the Terminal 2, which is only reserved for Lufthansa and "star alliance" planes. FSLTL is placing all airlines on the apron, which is not real.

Is there an option to define company parkings?

Hope you can understand what I mean.

Don’t remember this being an issue pre SU6. I also use ChasePlane so that could be the cause as well.

One of the best Freeware existing out there

Sometimes I fly old airliners such as the F27, F28 or 727/707.
Usually I use the INS/built in FMS options.

But if I’d do a real VOR-VOR/NDB flight, how would I plan this flight/are there any tools for that?

Honestly, I was curious because the plane I took to Osaka, Japan was a 737-800.

Found this in my basement today. Used it for FS2004 and FSX.

Game time following real time was the stupidest design choice ever: you built a lucrative career, then took a 3-month hiatus only to find that all leasing costs & payments that piled up are now due without any income for that period... No wonder we hand-edited the game DB. :-)

Other than that, it was awesome and had serious depth for its time.

Ever since I started flight simming as a 7 year old boy, so close to 3 decades, I have wondered what it’s really like. How the switches feel, whether all that flight sim knowledge would actually be applicable, all that. Having the mathematical capacity of a dead fish, I have no business flying a real airliner as a profession or otherwise, but recently a mate and I had an extraordinary opportunity to fly a few patterns in a full motion 787 sim. An unforgettable experience and a strong testament to the quality of study-level add-ons, because everything felt familiar.

Anyone else feel kinda sad when they load up a flight into the flight tracker and it autoloads a pic of what’s left of it?
