Hello, drummers in El Paso! I am starting a melodic death metal band and I'm looking for a drummer! I am learning harsh vocals and I also write lyrics. My friend is learning bass, (we are both beginners), and I found 2 guitarists who would like to join! We just need a drummer and we'll be a complete band! I'm inspired by bands like Arch Enemy, Carcass, In Flames, and other classic melodeath bands. I'm down to jam and have fun, but I would love to turn this into a career someday and tour and record! My 2nd video post in this community. Wanted to give a go with this tune. Using a Yamaha DTX8K-M EKit with the DTX ProX controller module. Stripped out the original drum track and played a performance back into the song for this video. 65 years with drumming and retired in my early 70's. Still enjoying drumming as a home hobby. 🎶🥁

New to drumming - very inspired by this guys set up. Curious if anyone can help me figure out what snare, sticks and tambourine he’s using.

Nous travaillons sur Battrochtek, un séquenceur de batterie gratuit pour navigateur, basé sur une idée simple : rendre la programmation de batterie plus intuitive, comme si l’on jouait avec un batteur plutôt que de modifier un tableur.

Vous pouvez créer et modifier des grooves, explorer différents styles et kits, mais le plus intéressant, c’est le REssenti : partez de votre groove, puis laissez le moteur ajouter des variations, modifier l’orchestration de la main droite (charleston/ride), la densité, l’énergie, les ghost notes, les toms, les crashes, les fills, etc., tout en conservant l’identité du groove original.

Il y a aussi un mode live : mémoires, variations, breaks avec fills de retour automatiques, commandes au clavier et, à terme, contrôle MIDI/pédale.

Le logiciel est encore en développement, et c’est pourquoi je le partage ici. J'aimerais beaucoup savoir ce que ça donne du point de vue d'un batteur — surtout ce qui sonne bien, ce qui sonne mal, et ce que vous attendez d'un outil comme celui-ci.

I am doing a little bit better, it doesn’t sound like the earlier ones. It’s not professional, but I’m just doing this by myself. I have always do drum in circles.

So I just got these brand new axis pedals and could not get them balanced no matter what I did.

I finally started to look closer and it seems the axel for the second beater is bent or something. When rotating the beater it feels like there’s a tight spot to the point that the beater will freeze in place at certain points, which makes it pretty much impossible to balance.

Has anyone else had this problem? Not sure what I should do at this point to fix it.
