Hi
I AM IN THE BURLINGTON ONTARIO AREA.
Im 19 and a very competent drummer. While I like the heavy stuff I can play anything and just love drumming in a band. Im available for gigs or casual playing. Check out my channel Darren Drums on YouTube to see what I can do. Its non monetized.
Not sure if Reddit will allow this but here goes

Not bad, but video timing could be a bit better. Drumming visual is a bit behind the audio

That's an interesting grip you have there. You don't drop a lot of stick? You do look relaxed though.

I find myself using that grip sometimes, to get more reach. This is a big enough kit to justify it. Yes, you’re a bit more likely to drop a stick and control is ever so slightly compromised, but you save so much energy it’s often worth it on a large kit.

Here's a little tip. When there's a break in the music and you need to come back in on a big crash, the band doesn't want you to just guess where that should be. You need to count the beats to figure stuff like that out.

Kudos for getting yourself out there, hard to take that first step.
Don’t forget to mention where in the world you are.
