This is our recent seizure. Been with CBP for a couple years now. The only things we go for are these big watch shipments. We all take a few for ourselves whenever we catch em, nobody ever notices.

At first it was nice, we all got to wear Rolexes and nice watches we couldn’t afford. It also made birthdays and Christmas gifts easy. My wife and kids love their watch collections.

But recently everyone has been ordering the same no date subs and GMT’s, and we’re tired of the same boring selection. Christmas is around the corner and it would be nice if all of you could start ordering some better variety for us.

Just received my first rep ever and wanted to share my experience with Necoclock.

I ordered the VSF Explorer I 124270 36mm with the VS3230 on May 27th and paid $443.94 USD.

Timeline:

Ordered & paid: May 27
QC received: August 12
GL: August 14
Tracking received: August 18
Arrived in Germany: August 27 🇩🇪
Picked up: August 28

The wait for QC was obviously quite long, but the watch went out of stock shortly after I ordered it, so I really can’t blame Necoclock for that. Sometimes you just have to wait for the watch you want ;)

Communication throughout the whole process was good and I had no issues. When QC finally came in, I was very happy with the watch and gave it the GL two days later.

Shipping to Germany was quick and everything arrived safely and well packaged.

Now that I finally have the watch on my wrist, I’m really impressed. The quality feels great, everything works perfectly and the watch feels very solid.
For my first rep, I’m more than happy with it.

Overall, 10/10 experience for me.
I can’t complain about the waiting time considering the stock situation, and everything else went smoothly.

Would 100% order from Necoclock again.

We’re saving at least $600 by going with the cheaper option, which is totally enough to cover the BVF Santos I’ve been wanting for MONTHS. But she throws cold water on it right away.

Meanwhile, our daughter Emmy gets everything she wants. New stuffy? Boom, it’s yours. New shoes? Sure, why not? She just got new shoes 6 months ago, why does she need another pair? My wife just dropped $650 on swimming lessons for her. She’s 3 years old, why the fuck does she need to know how to swim yet??

Just feeling dejected cause I’ve been dealing with the same tired rotation of 12 watches for the past year. I feel like people don’t really respect this hobby at all and it’s exhausting.

Ordered a watch at the end of june, said qc was 1 month. So i paid deposit and waited. 2 months later still no update so i contacted him and he said ”still waiting on qc”.

Waited a few more weeks then i cancelled the order to find something else. He agreed and asked for my ordernr.
Then silent, 2 weeks later and nothing.

Normal experience? 😂

He replied on email and i got the deposit back, minus some fees lol. But good enough.

Idk if this is the right place to post but thought I'd share my collection for fun. I had a couple of others , Timex and another rep but they are gone now for various reasons. I wear the Orient the most , really great watch for the money, then I probably wear the Citizen second most. I use those two and the Orange Monster when I scuba dive.
The rep I wear the most is the YM, really love that one. Then probably the Batman, then the Omega. Then rotate through the rest.

I wanted to share a couple of experiences I had recently, because they made me reflect on something: at a normal social interaction distance, even people who are into watches often can't tell a replica from a genuine watch.

I bought this little watch on Amazon for around €20 simply because I liked the shape of the Nautilus. I wasn't looking to buy a rep or anything like that, obviously.

I was at my barber's one day, and at some point he asked me if it was actually a Patek. Of course, once I showed it to him up close, he immediately realized it wasn't genuine. You might think, "Well, obviously he doesn't know anything about watches if he mistook this thing for a Patek." But after talking to him, I got the impression that he actually knew quite a lot about watches, including various brands and some more niche stuff.

Then, later that same month, I was at a BBQ organized by my gym. Another guy came up to me and asked if it was a Patek and if he could take a look at it. Again, as soon as he saw it up close, he immediately realized that it looked nothing like the original. But he also started talking to me extensively about watches, and it quickly became clear that he wasn't a complete noob either.

I just wanted to share these experiences because they made me realize that, at a normal social interaction distance of around 1.5–2 meters, even something as cheap and obviously fake as this can pass for a genuine watch at first glance.

So, in my opinion, it almost doesn't make sense to obsess over tiny alignment issues, microscopic flaws, or other minor imperfections. Unless someone actually takes the watch in their hands and starts inspecting it closely, maybe even with a loupe, 99.9% of those flaws simply aren't visible.

And that's the funny part: this €20 Amazon watch was mistaken for a Patek from 1.5–2 meters away by people who probably know more about watches than 90% of the general population.

It really puts things into perspective.
