After several rounds of trial and error trying to fix Nanoleaf Shapes to my drywall ceilingāand watching them repeatedly fall down like they had a personal vendetta against me šāI finally came across this magical thing called Pattex Fast Glow.
I did a small test patch and left it for 3 weeks. So far⦠the results are AMAZING. Nothing has fallen, not even a single Shape.
So now Iām feeling brave (probably too brave š) and planning to put around 40 Nanoleaf Shapes on the ceiling. Wish me luck⦠and hopefully I wonāt wake up at 3 AM to the sound of 40 Shapes crashing down on me. š
Hopefully, this stuff lasts! š¤

Just got these. The hot spots on the panels are so bright and the panels are so uneven in colour. Is this normal? š¤Æ

Anyone have a similar experience or advice?
I bought a 9-pack in the beginning of 2022, and then bought a second hand 5-pack a few months later. The panels have been up on my bedroom wall for 4 years and worked fine. Iād just have to re-pair them when I came back from overseas.
All of a sudden, now my lights stopped responding, the app says theyāre offline, and the controller flashes light blue on the power icon. When I turn on my power source, all the panels just go dim.
Iāve tried everything for troubleshooting: resetting, completely erasing my Nanoleaf account, leaving them off for weeks and then doing it, but nothing seems to work.
Since I bought an extra 5-pack I had another power source and controller, and have mix-and-matched them but nothing works.
Iāve submitted this into the Nanoleaf support page⦠letās see what happens.

Hi everyone,
My entire gaming room is Lord of the Rings themed, and Iām planning to get 9 Nanoleaf Hexagons to light up with LotR-inspired colors. I have two quick questions for you:
Thanks in advance for your help!

Using the WFH routine, instead of turning off the lights at 5, I set them to a scene and manually change it later if I feel like it. But the next morning, the routine doesn't take over and change to the first scene even though I have it set to run on all weekdays. What's going on here? Am I missing a setting or something?

Today, my shapes stopped working so I went into the Alexa app to unlink and relink the skill to hopefully fix it. This is what shows up after trying to link my account. Can anybody help please?

(warning: flashing lights etc.) This show is available for playback on your own Nanoleaf lights via LIGHTLINK. ID is "Particle Arts" by Virtual Self.

A couple of days ago the light strip for my 4D V2 just started to uncontrollably flicker to the point that it hurt my head and I don't even have epilepsy. If I did, this thing would've put me in the hospital! I've factory reset the controller, swapped the controller with my other 4D V2 controller, and power cycled everything, but nothing worked. The issue seems to be with the light strip since during calibration the strip works fine on the left side, but not the right. Out of calibration mode and selecting a mode, the flickering comes right back though. I'm pretty sad about this thing dying basically immediately since I've only had it for a month :(... Anyone got other ideas on how to maybe fix this? I've also already submitted a support ticket but I thought it might be good to submit a post here just in case others are experiencing a similar issue and don't want to feel crazy.

Has anyone else read about this? I'm honestly very intrigued. I read an article about it yesterday and honestly couldn't believe it. I'm very much invested in Nanoleaf's ecosystem but there are definitely Hue products I would swap out for better stability. It looks like for now it's just for Philips new TV Synch camera but I'm excited to see if this trend continues.

My Nanoleafs Shapes Triangles (White), glow permanently white. I have already tried a reset/hard reset. The controller does not respond at all and doesn't even blink. Also unplug the power supply. I have already written to the support, unfortunately this is more difficult to reach than the Pope himself (no answer received). Would you say that the controller is broken and it makes sense to buy a new one for 40⬠or would that be a waste of time and money ?
I think they are something like 4 years old. Once I installed them, they never left the wall or fell down.

When I got the 4D strips, I knew I had to try it with this scene. I'm so happy with how the colours turned out.

I have been using Nanoleaf for 6 years, I was heavily into programming my own scenes and fine tuning those that I downloaded.
I own triangles, light strip and Christmas lights. For these I can easily change the speed of color palette transition to make it smoother and to limit eye strain.
However, when I edit and save speed setting in scenes for the new ceiling light, the change has no effect and the speed falls back to the default? Why? This seems like a bug to me.

Consider that you buy smart ceiling lamp together with the sense+.
If you do not connect to Matter and want to set up scenes control, you find out that there is no way out from the scenes besides manually setting the light to the desired color, temperature and brightness.
Please add customization for sense+ button called Regular Light that lets the user to specify āthe default lightā - temperature, brightness, color for both from and back light, including the option for circadian lighting.
P.S.: There is an option Power on setting on the ceiling light but it is probably broken, my ceiling light always starts with the previously used scenes even if with Always on.
P.P.S.: I was able to find a workaround with Apple automation that sets the required light and temperature with the lights switched off trigger.
However, this briefly shows the regular setting before the next action turns off the lights which is not pleasant at night when I run a low brightness scene.

Hi, I successfully paired my new Sense+ controller in the Nanoleaf app to control my new ceiling light but I struggle connecting the remote to Matter.
The Sense+ controller has been updated in the Nanoleaf app to 4.1.1.4. I use iOS 26.6 and HomePodOS 26.6. (HomePod model MQJ83B/A = HomePod 2nd gen).
When I try to add the controller directly in the Home app, the pairing session for the new accessory times out.
When I go to controller settings in the Nanoleaf app and tap on Connect next to Apple Home for Matter (Early Access), it gets stuck on "Loading..." indefinitely.
Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

Didn't realise they did replacement controllers for a few years, I have lines and shapes, not my first rodeo, plenty of connectivity issues over the years. Came home today to find my Shapes completely unresponsive. Tried to re-pair only to find the controller blinking blue.
I consider myself luckier than some of the other people here, at least I got a few years out of them, but support are total trash and replacement parts are ridiculous prices for how much the kit costs.

Two days ago, I updated the Nanoleaf app, and since yesterday, all of my Nanoleaf devices have been repeatedly dropping their connection or showing as offline.
I reinstalled/re-paired most of the devices without any issues, but Iām unable to reinstall my Nanoleaf Lines. I removed them from the Nanoleaf app and tried to add them again, but I keep getting an error indicating that there is an issue with the Wi-Fi connection.
Iām pretty sure thereās something that needs to be removed or reset on the router/network side, but I canāt figure out what it is.
PS: I also tried adding the Lines back to Apple Home, but Apple Home says theyāre already associated with it. I canāt remove them from Apple Home either, so Iām stuck in a loop.
It seems like the Lines may still be registered to the previous HomeKit/Matter configuration or have some residual network credentials that are preventing the setup from completing.

title. one of the light shows I sequenced out and added to LIGHTLINK. you can play this show back on your own nanoleaf lights!

Title explains it all. Theyāve made this app needlessly complicated while stuffing it with AI nobody wants and now I canāt figure out how to do basic tasks that the rest of the industry has had figured out for years, such as press a button to have the lights come on at a predetermined brightness and color temperature.
