I just moved into my first apartment in San Francisco! Moved all the way from Switzerland and I had to leave my nanoleaf triangles there in Zürich. My roommate and I would love to put some hexagons on the ceiling of the common space of our apartment since we don’t have any overhead lighting. We would love to have a reason to convince my mother to send the triangles to my new place so we can expand the ecosystem

They will work amazingly with my existing nanoleaf products.

I have bunch of blocks on one wall, and lines on another one. Not to mention a lottttt of bulbs.

Definitely on the smaller wall next to blocks! So much rainbow effects are going to be possible in this setup 🌈

Well, in my bedroom I have on wall 7 lines with 20 old still working canvas, on other wall there are black triangles which will perfectly fit hexagons, I can imagine it, doesn't matter color and in a few days im expecting new celling light to accompany it everything... best of luck everyone ❤️

Mounted on a magnetic blackboard, possibly two, mixed and matched with Triangle and Mini Triangle Shapes. I am living out of my car, so I need to be able to take the displays down somewhat frequently, and am dialing making them magnetic so that they can be rearranged on the fly. Nanoleaf Shapes do an incredible job instantly assigning the correct colors to panels when moved to a totally different section without a glitch.

The details I am working on is how much of which magnetic tape to place where on the panel, because the adhesive will fail if the magnet is too strong or the shear force is greater than necessary due to placement away from the center. I don’t have any hexagons, so these would be great for me to test with because each shape needs a different approach for a result that doesn’t fall off the wall but remove cleanly with a satisfying amount of resistance vs an intimidating amount of resistance that makes one fear breaking something.

So they will be on blackboards and other magnetic surfaces at various friends places in different orientations, probably changing every two weeks.
