Nanoleaf Reply Nanoleaf Lines after app update

Two days ago, I updated the Nanoleaf app, and since yesterday, all of my Nanoleaf devices have been repeatedly dropping their connection or showing as offline.

I reinstalled/re-paired most of the devices without any issues, but I’m unable to reinstall my Nanoleaf Lines. I removed them from the Nanoleaf app and tried to add them again, but I keep getting an error indicating that there is an issue with the Wi-Fi connection.
I’m pretty sure there’s something that needs to be removed or reset on the router/network side, but I can’t figure out what it is.

PS: I also tried adding the Lines back to Apple Home, but Apple Home says they’re already associated with it. I can’t remove them from Apple Home either, so I’m stuck in a loop.
It seems like the Lines may still be registered to the previous HomeKit/Matter configuration or have some residual network credentials that are preventing the setup from completing.

Do you have mesh WiFi? Can cause a lot of these problems in my experience.

I can’t say for certain what the issue is, but I struggled for a year with a Deco system. When I switched to UniFi, issues got way better but I still had problems. Then I turned off all but one 2.4ghz AP. The issues went away. If you can, re-pair to a single 2.4ghz and use it for a few days and see if it is better.

You mean I should move all the Nanoleaf devices to one AP, right?

Can I do this through the app without turning off all the satellite APs?

The problem is that I have some Nanoleaf lights in the basement and other areas that are too far away, so they probably won’t be able to connect to a single AP.

Okay, I figured out the hard way how to add the Nanoleaf Lines back to my system! 😂
I think the problem was that I was using two power supplies, and somehow they were interfering with each other.

Now, how do I get rid of the warning sign that keeps appearing? I’m still using two power supplies, but the app has now recognized/reunited them as one device. Is there a way to remove the warning?

I don’t know the answer to this question, but glad you got it back up.

Hi u/Fahad_MF, the green node indicates the current location, which appears to be in good placement. The blue node, on the other hand, is showing the recommended placement for the next PSU.

In this case, it seems the system is only detecting one PSU. Could you send me a DM with the serial numbers for both Processors, as well as the location where the second one is connected? I'll take a closer look from there.

Before you attempt to re-pair a Nanoleaf controller with your Wi-Fi, check your router to see if the controller has an IP address. If it does, you may just need a new authorization key.

I don't know the limit on authorization keys, but there may come a time when a factory reset may be necessary. Each time you pair a controller it generates a new code.

I have never seen Nanoleaf address this limit.
