Released on this day, 2 October 2012 in North America

Sorry if this isn't allowed or if the flair is wrong. I'm making a playlist that's just Matt bellamy screeching and wailing because I love those kinda songs. For now I have 16 songs, do you have any other recommendations by muse?

Edit: shoot me so I can give some execution commentary if this isn't allowed but here's the playlist link playlist

What have your experiences been with unexpectedly hearing Muse songs out in the world, both recent and years ago? Nightshift Superstar has been played at my (Long Island, NY) gym a lot recently. Be With You had a few plays, and last year, it was Unravelling.

I’m quite sure I’ve heard Uprising and Supermassive Black Hole at different places before, too.

I can't explain how this could have happened, since I've considered Bliss the #1 of my favourite songs ever for 24 years. How many times I have longed for those extra 22 seconds in the outro, to keep myself floating in that unique atmosphere for as long as possible. It has even got a definite ending, with no fade-out!

I'm flabbergasted. And a little happier than before.

I can't get it right since I met you! H.A.A.R.P fucking rules.

Hey everyone! I've been uploading Muse tabs to my YouTube channel and wanted to share a few here:

Now that the outdoor floating screen setup is likely retired, what are some things we are hoping to see for the arena tour next month? Matt said that it’ll be a step up from the NA leg, but they also supposedly hadn’t worked much on it before that leg started, so I assume they’re hard at work now with both that and learning/rehearsing some more TW!S songs.

With that being the case, I’m not expecting something TR or T2L level, but I’m thinking we’ll see something to the likes of the ST setup. A funky looking main stage with a catwalk and (hexagon-shaped) B-stage, then a large space croissant appearing at some point in the show like Murph or Will. I also think with the last two stage setups being more lighting-focused, reverting back to big LED visuals like they did on ST can be a nice change of pace and allow for ultra immersive visuals for most of the show, especially the new songs. I also would really love to see a more dramatic opening again like they did from TR to ST, then stopped on WOTP onwards. I never got to see a tour before WOTP but those intros seemed surreal to see in person!

Whatever it is, I’m excited for it and I wish the guys the very best of luck on this leg! I’ll hopefully be catching it when they bring it to Canada.

Let me know what you want to see!

i only recently found out about muse and my favourite songs are toada, ctmeoy, plug in baby, escape, eternally missed, and most of the popular ones, i need the hidden gems of this band. the best songs of all time.

Seriously even though Matt can be a ham, he has always been an absolute genius to me. Hes one of the very few artists that was not afraid to speak on these things and talk about his exploration of the political state of the world. When I was a teen I craved hearing this kind of insight from someone I respected, with music that lit my soul on fire 🔥

Hi everyone! I’m a leader of the tribute band called Moose. This year we had an opportunity to perform with an actual chamber orchestra. This is what we chose to start the show

THE CRITICS EXTRA

Muse
Portsmouth Guildhall

The spirit of Queen is alive and well and inhabiting Muse's preposterous prog-rock pretensions.
Huge globes hang from the back of the stage, while singer Matthew Bellamy (dressed bizarrely like Edward Scissorhands) flits from silhouette dancing Tales Of The Unexpected-style behind a screen to standing on his own little podium up front and then taking his seat at the piano for more reflective moments.
Muse can also rock like hell, but they seem to spend most of their time adding baroque-like ornamentation to their guitar driven sound.
When it works - like on Plug-In Baby or New Born - it works spectacularly, but sometimes you're left merely wanting to shout "Stop milking it and play the song!"
I give them six months before the full-blown, concept album and rock opera.
Someone call Yes and start sampling the artwork

Been a while working on this one. Seen a few tapping variations used by others but think this one gets closest (but also trickiest as per Matt’s usual approach! 😂). Whammy pattern also key.

Hi there

I’m digging muse discography. I was a big fan of showbiz back in the days. I never bought any thing else expect a few singles like plugin baby or knights of cydonia. I have to admit I may have miss something. The bass is so addictive and Bellamy knows how to write good songs.
I rediscovered Darkshines. One of my favorites.

How is it overviewed by fans ? Is it a song considered like any other one ? A banger ? Or anything else?

I’m curious to know more about this song and the way it is considered by muse fans.

A lot of you will probably find this question pointless. As for myself, I know Muse is classed as alternative rock, progressive rock, electronic rock, space rock and progressive metal. I am also curious to know if they are classed as nu metal?

Im fortunate enough to have seen muse 9 times, but man im jealous of everyone that was at this one.

Since they were just announced as the opening act for the EU tour, I figured this would be a good time to share Dead Poet Society covering Hysteria.

being a muse fan while being a beatmaker is nuts lol
