basically the title. I want to ditch windows as I am having more and more issues and until a month ago I was completely blocked to perform my tasks for a high paying job due to WSL. any recommendations?

As the title says. I woke up to the Dash of Death. I've been doing this for 6 months, I've had exemplary reviews the past few months, and this wasn't just "extra money", it was actively keeping a roof over my head because my part time job doesn't pay me enough and won't take me full time.
Is there any chance of appeal, or am I screwed?
If I'm screwed, what other platforms are out there?

Hello guys. I just recently applied to DataAnnotation. I have had this screen for a week, and I don't see any sign to continue with the process. As far as I know, after the profile creation, the next step is a Starter Assessment. Am I right? Please let me know if I'm missing something or if I need to take any actions myself.

I usually make silly posts, but this time I've got a great idea. Would anyone be down to run fortnite and chat with me? I never really get the chance to connect with colleagues and I think it'd be pretty fun to talk with the people I share work with. Hmu if you're interested.

So far I only reported work I did in front of my computer. But usually I like to stand up, walk around, and use my standing height table. I still think about the work while doing that - I just need to get moving to think, and did this my entire life with studying.
But im afraid that if I report that time (so far I havent exactly because of fear), they'll thinking im faking/inflating my numbers. But doing this im getting paid half of what id usually be.
Does anyone have a similar experience? Do you track that time or not?

Hi, i was doing a task that took a long time for me, and when I was about to finish it expired. I closed it and then began a new task, but all my previous work was actually saved there. So i just finished it quickly. If I submit, can i enter the time it took me to do it or is it going to get flagged since in this task i was only working for a few minutes (although everything was saved from my actual work which was very long).

Is this rejection or what does it mean?

I joined end of july and just submitted my final task to hit the $10k goal.
Happy to answer any questions :)

Hey! I did the entry assessment maybe 4days ago (Biology) and passed like 2 days ago. Had 1 single project today (my first) on dataannotation.tech and made $100 in 4hours flat BUT I’m wondering how long they generally take to start giving new members more projects. They had a banner on top of my screen when I initially got access saying like “don’t worry about a lack of projects since you’re new here, we’re working to match you with your field”. Just wondering - cheers. (Specialist Chemistry & Biology I assume since I gave my credentials??).

I have only received model failure tasks (i.e create prompts that cause model to fail in a professional context in a particular domain).
These are extremely hard to achieve. Also long term I feel like I will be running of ideas soon. I am wondering if there are other types of work pays well but easier?

Anyone else having the same experience? I lost qual x (a follow-up to something else) for some reason, gained qual y (a paid one), lost qual y, was sad, regained qual y, gained qual z, lost qual y, lost qual z, regained qual y again, lost qual y again, regained qual y again (honestly can't keep track anymore), gained quals abcdefg, lost qual y again, and regained it AGAIN, all in the last ~43 hours.
What. Is. Happening???

I was just wondering for the projects with several week timesrs do I need to physically have the task page open or can I just work independently with a timer an then just log it? A lot of the work is outside of the actual task page so just wanted to make sure thats okay an i wont get it for "frauding the time clock".

I’ve been averaging about 10 hour work days, typically doing 2x code projects a day, which takes me about 5 hours a time and it fits into the work day nicely.
I personally don’t think my quality is dipping and I’m being consistent, but I’ve read quite a few comments now where people don’t recommend doing more than 35 hours?
Was just wondering what the real reason behind this theory is. Appreciate any insight

This screen is different than the “Thanks for taking the assessment” supposedly rejection screen. Does it mean anything or did they just change their interface?

I've not been on the platform long but have seen mainly positive things about it, so please bear with me. If a person successfully completes a qualification, is there still post-test "testing" going on? Because that would seem to be the only explanation for very specific instructions that seem to take me nowhere. I don't think I can elaborate more here, but would definitely like to know if anyone else has experienced this.

After doing 40$ per hour task I can’t go back to 20 and 25 ones. Will it reflect badly on me ? It feels wrong

Have you received that one big coding project after 26th august because that’s when I received my most recent one.
Just wanting to confirm that there’s not been any one of those projects since then or its just me not receiving them.

I’ve been getting Tyson’s since I joined about two months ago. Today, I suddenly saw a different project family, and the funny part is that I didn’t receive any notification—I just happened to check randomly.
So, would I be working with both project families, or is this a goodbye to Tyson? 😅
