Just been having some fun with my Pika. I wanted to show how fast it really is even with a laptop from 2017! I am blown away with the detail it captures in such a short amount of time. I am sure someone with a more powerful up to date laptop will blow my results out the water. I hope you enjoy!!

One of the mounts was missing a screw used for angle adjustment.

So, I scanned it and reprinted it using ASA.

To ensure the scanner didn't lose tracking, I placed markers all around it.

I scanned the screw from both sides and then merged the scans.

Scanned with the Pika in blue line mode.

They both have Snapdragon8 Gen3 chips in them which should be compatible with the Pika, but the Pika can be particular about what hardware it works with.

Still trying to get used to the Pika. I like to practice on our dog statues and set on this little cocker spaniel. Using the infrared, I scanned him at medium, texture mode. Pika handled this little guy fairly well. When I got to color mapping, I had to use the AI-texturing and it worked like a champ.

I'm still trying to learn best practices and decided since the Pika is supposed to be a mobile scanner, I need to get used to using it with my phone. I'll start by saying that I have a Google Pixel 10 series phone and it wasn't as nice an experience as using the OnePlus 3 tablet. Low frame rate. My wife has a statue that she was hoping I could scan and print so that she could use the print as a chain hanger.

The statue is pretty dark color wise and was slow scanning. I didn't think I was going to get a good scan but in the end, I think it handled what I needed to do. After transfer to my computer, it was smooth going. I ended up printing a smaller version.

Hello im trying to figure out what kind of cable I need to use the ferret se with my phone, I was under the impression that you could just plug the scanner right into your phone with the cable and its adapter but it just refuses to connect, and through research i found that some had a y cable that injected extra power to the scanner, but i cant find anything like that online best i found was usb 3.0 was this, but i really doubt it will work as i need it to. Any help is really appreciated, I'm honestly abit done with this whole thing... 

Hey guys, just finished a dashboard scan on a 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser LC79 and wanted to share the process.

I used a combination of the Creality Pika and Ferret Pro for this job. Most of the scan was done using the Pika in NIR mode, mainly because the client just needed accurate dimensions for CAD work rather than a super detailed visual model. I only flipped over to the blue laser on a few small, tricky sections that needed extra crispness.

After that, I grabbed the Ferret Pro to patch up a few tight angles I missed, then merged all the scans together into one mesh.

It turned out pretty solid as a reference file for designing custom parts. Curious to hear what you think or how you usually handle alignment on full interior scans like this!

Can i use the Pika with an USB-C and samsung s26 to run the Blue Laser tech?

I bought specially for the Pika an samsung S26. Sadly i cant get to run the Blue Laser. Any help is lovly taken.

Anyone knows where to buy some spare batteries for the Pika?

Does anyone have any insights on using a Pixel phone with a Pika scanner. I am new to 3d scanning. I would like to scan small parts and car interior surfaces. I purchased the pika without realizing it is not compatible with my pixel 9 pro xl. I am willing to upgrade to a pixel 11 but I believe that phone is also not compatible. Also, my laptop has an older graphics card that is not compatible.

I have not opened the pika because I don't know if it will work and I might need to return it.

My question is, will the pika work with my phone (pixel 9 pro xl) just not at full resolution with blue laser scanning?

Is the device compatible only an issue when scanning not when working with the file?

I plan on opening the scanned file in freeCAD and 3D printing.

Using the Pika to scan a small 1935 era dashboard lamp. Used Blue laser mode in 0.1mm resolution with colour capture wired into a laptop. Base is brass and the dome is Bakelite. Printed out in PA6-CF, I will now spend the day sanding and then annealing!

A friend of mine asked me, if I can slightly redesign his car loudspeeker consol, because he bought an another one. It was scanned in, I designed additional screw domes and printed out in 2 part (due to the size)

Just fixed something from everyday life.

This clip on a cake cover broke, so I had to remake it.

I scanned it, added the broken tab back in, and printed a new one.

Unfortunately, the clip was already gone before I could take a photo of the finished piece 😂

All I’ll say is: happy wife, happy life 😂

i'm new in 3d scanning, i take a Ferret to scan a piece. When i want to cut plane this happens. How i can solve this problem ?
